Experienced & active caretaker!
I grew up with two large German Shepherds, so I’ve been comfortable around big, powerful breeds my entire life. I’ve recently lived with a rambunctious Golden Retriever puppy & an elderly Boston Terrier. I'm active on another pet/house-sitting app called TrustedHouseSitters through which I've cared for 2 Australian shepherds (3yrs & 6yrs), 2 Goldens (5yrs & 5yrs), a Rhodesian ridgeback mix (2yrs), a a Boston terrier (3yrs), a yorkipoo (16yrs), a Chihuahua (15yrs), and a Shiba Inu (4yrs). I'm comfortable with all sizes, ages, and regimens. I work remotely which allows me to work around whenever your pet needs to be walked, fed, medicated, or entertained! I lead an active lifestyle myself, so if your dog thrives on long walks, runs, hikes, or endless games of fetch, I’m very down to be their exercise partner. If you have a couch potato who just wants to chill, I’m happy to match that energy as well. Following directions and communications are both strong suits for me! I am more than happy to jump on a quick call or video chat to answer any questions you might have, or arrange an in-person meet & greet to ensure we’re a great fit.

David pet sat for my cats, Spice and Pumpkin, and he was wonderful! David was incredibly attentive, making sure both cats were well-fed, comfortable, and happy. He was easy to talk to which really put my mind at ease. It was clear that David has a knack for animals and took the time to understand their personalities and needs. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable, fun, friendly and caring pet sitter!
David was kind enough to include our dog Osito in his holiday plans. A very special treat for our boy while we were away included Holiday party and family beach day. David was kind and left our home like we left it. Our three cats warmed up at the end of the sit. We appreciated the attention given to all four fur kids. We had great communication prior to the sit and during the sit as well. We would have David sit for us again if possible.
David is a wonderful sitter and house guest. He cared for my Shiba Inu and two kittens while I was away for a week. Communication and planning before his sit were easy. He was self sufficient and provided periodic updates. Upon return, my home was just as I left it. Somehow my pets were getting along better than before. Definitely would recommend him to other pet parents and would be happy to have him care for my trio again.

Schedule
Since I work remotely, I can fit my work schedule around any type of pet care - administering medicine, bathroom breaks, multiple meals, etc.. I exercise almost every day so adding walks/run or playing games of fetch acts as great exercise for both of us!

Safety, trust & environment
If your pet comes to my place, it's a spacious apartment with a dog park and multiple green spaces or walking paths nearby. Communication is very important to me so you know your pet's routine is staying consistent. If I am to come to your residence, the majority of my experience has been full house-sitting for pet owners. I adhere to instructions well and quickly ask questions when needed!
