“Hailey is so reliable and pleasant. Her report cards are the best- always a full blurb on my fur baby. Great when you’re away and really want to know how they are doing.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! From raising and caring for my own pets, to helping friends, neighbors, and family with their own fur babies, I love dedicating time to them! Every kind of cat and dog of every shape, color, and size deserves all the love! I’m here to care for each pet according to their unique needs I have a part time job that has a varied schedule, its not the same every week! So i have very flexible and open availability! I am very used to setting time aside to care for my own pets and even help my friends/family with theirs! I have plenty of time and flexibility to take on more pet sitting time! I dedicate time and attention to every cat and dog in my care! I treat them all as if they were my own. I make sure pets in mine or my clients home are fed according to their needs and diet, water always fresh and full, and treats a plenty. I love taking dogs on nice walks so they get their exercise and outside time. I love dedicating time to playing with both cats and dogs and seeing their unique little personalities. I make sure their bowls and areas are tidy.
“Dwight is remarkable! He treated my pup Pronto as if he was his very own. They had the best walks and had so much fun. I looked forward to receiving Pronto's report card everyday. The pictures were also star quality. Communication with Dwight was also a breeze. I can't recommended him enough. Thanks a ton!”

“David was fabulous! We’ve never used a service like this before. He had amazing reviews but I was still a little nervous(our pups are our family!). His messaging was excellent, he sent lots of pictures, and it was clear that he earned the trust of our boys very quickly. I’m very thankful for him!”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs and cats in my 25 years of experience with pets. I have even had the pleasure of looking after exotic animals like birds, fish and reptiles. I am currently working part time so pet care fits in well with my current schedule. The extra time makes me want to add value to my community which this allows me to do. I have a child locks currently on all doors which makes doors being opened become more deliberate. This in turn helps to ensure any pet in my care will not just easily walk through the door unattended.
About: I have grown up with all types of animals from dogs and cats, to birds and horses. I have a cat, two guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and a dog myself. I also have experience working over two years in an animal shelter taking care of both dogs and cats. I adopted my current dog at 5 months and we have spent the last year training, so I am comfortable using various commands to communicate with your dogs. I am currently a post grad taking a semester off so I am available full time to take care of your animals. I can drop in, do dog walks, and doggy day care or overnights. I have a large fenced in yard but live with multiple cats and a dog (who is very friendly but hyper). If that environment would not work for your animal I could do day care or drop ins at your residence, although i can only do overnights at my house.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of different ages and personalities. I currently have two spayed female cats, ages 5 and 10 both are good with other animals, and previously cared for our family Morkie for many years who has since passed. I’ve also helped care for my dad’s Golden Retriever with walks, feeding, playtime, and daily routines. Being around animals has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. ✨ I work from home and have a flexible schedule through my small business, which makes it easy for me to provide attentive and reliable pet care throughout the day. 🐾 I focus on creating a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific routines their pet is used to. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine to help minimize stress while their owner is away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured and connected throughout the stay. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I always approach them with patience, attention, and gentle care.
“Izabella took great care of our dog - Chevy while we were away. She was punctual and always communicated with us about how Chevy was doing. Would definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!”

“Maria was fantastic! This was my first time using Rover, and she immediately made me feel confident that both Syd and my home were in great hands. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and I really appreciated the updates. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Have had the pleasure of being a repeat customer with Danny! He sends lots of pup pics and updates when he walks Mahana. He also helped out with an older dog that was visiting, and made sure to give her extra care and attention! Will definitely be using his services again as he quickly responds and is a great communicator! Thanks Danny!”

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats and am comfortable with all different kinds of breeds. I understand the importance of respecting animal boundaries and needs, and will take care of your pet as if it is my own! I have done pet sitting for my friends and family’s pets which range from big dogs such as golden retriever and small dogs like Maltese. I’m currently working Monday to Wednesday. I’m off Thursday to Sunday. So I’m usually home from Thursday to Sunday if your pet requires extra attention. I have pet sit for my friends and family’s pets before and I follow their instructions carefully regarding meal times, walks, and playtime. I feed and make sure they drink water, take frequent walks, and have lots of playtime with pets.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, so taking care of pets has always been second nature to me. We always had three cats and a dog at home, so I'm used to everything from daily walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and cleaning up the occasional mess. I've also pet sat for friends' dogs while they were away, making sure they stayed on their normal routine and got plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I know every pet is different, and I always try to make them feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are gone. Something really special for me is helping my mom care for foster puppy litters. I got to help with feeding, cleaning, socializing, and giving lots of love to puppies while they waited to find their forever homes. It definitely taught me patience and how much care goes into looking after younger dogs. I've also volunteered walking dogs at animal shelters, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else because they're family. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind with regular updates and lots of pictures along the way. I currently work full-time four days a week, which gives me a consistent schedule. On my workdays, I'm available for morning and evening walks, drop-in visits, and feedings before and after work. My days off are typically Tuesday through Thursday, so I have much more flexibility for multiple walks, drop-in visits, extended playtime, or spending extra time with your pets throughout the day. No matter what day it is, I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you're away. I'm also happy to work with your pet's normal routine whenever possible! I know every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to stick to it so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. Whether I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or staying in your home, I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and, of course, lots of love. I'll always follow your instructions for feeding, medications (if needed), potty breaks, and any special care your pet requires. I also believe communication is really important, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you're away. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect I would my own—keeping things clean, locking up securely, and making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable until you return. My goal is for both you and your pet to have a stress-free experience.

About: Hi! I'm Lexie, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for pets of all personalities and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone nearby while you're away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. I work full-time for Disney, where providing exceptional care, reliability, and attention to detail is part of my everyday job. I bring that same level of responsibility and compassion to every pet I care for. I'm an active person who enjoys being outdoors, so I'm always happy to take dogs on walks, play fetch, explore local parks, or just spend quality time giving them the attention they deserve. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I strive to keep them happy by sticking to their schedule as closely as possible. Whether you're heading out for the day or taking a longer trip, you can expect regular photo updates, great communication, and the peace of mind that your furry family member is being treated like one of my own. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I work full-time during the day, but I'm available most evenings for dog walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. For boarding, I'm available Monday through Wednesday, when I can provide a consistent, attentive environment and keep your pet on their regular routine. I always prioritize communication and will send plenty of photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away! Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, so I'll care for your pet as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs to ensure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. You'll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in loving, reliable hands. My goal is to provide a calm, positive environment where your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for from the moment they arrive until you return.
“German was the perfect walking companion for my pup Rockie! He was communicative and flexible! Rockie looked like he had the best time on his little walk. It was clear my dog was in the hands of someone who is truly knowledgeable and caring!”

“So attentive, kind and thoughtful. Love all the videos and photos that were sent! Traci’s communication is impeccable and she is just a wonderful person in general! Would definitely recommend.”

“I would not hesitate to recommend Rylee for your pet’s needs. She has been wonderful. It is evident that she knows how to handle a dog, is punctual and keeps me informed. I am so grateful to have Rylee at a time when I cannot walk Lincoln myself”

I met Katherine a few days before Storm’s first walk. She is so sweet and cares a lot for pups. I plan on using her weekly and the first walk went flawlessly. Storm is a husky and she will be pooped for a few hours after her walk. No worries, her energy will be back very shortly.

David is the best !!! Our babies love him like he is family and he provides the best “recaps” and so many great pictures of every single visit he has with them. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter who has become a friendly and family to us and our babies !!
Benji had the best time! It was such a relief knowing he was with someone who genuinely cared about him and made sure he was well taken care of. He came back happy, tired, and clearly enjoyed every minute of his walk. I really appreciated the updates and the attention Abigail gave him!! I’d absolutely book with Abigail again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and great with big dogs!! 5/5 !!

We met Erin during a meet & greet for the first time… & from that moment I knew my pups were in great hands! Especially because my sweet old girl loved her (I’ll always trust her judge of character). Erin took great care of my senior babies on a walk through the neighborhood & backyard time. We already have Erin booked for another drop in…. 10/10 recommend!!

I had booked Rafaela last minute and fortunately she was available! I provided instructions on how to get to my place and where everything was, and she was able to navigate well. She communicated with me prior and during and took sweet photos of my dog. Would recommend and book her again!

Maria has taken care of my pup countless time over the past year. She is incredibly professional, communicative, and trustworthy. I have not once ever had to worry if my pup was good hands. Truly 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing someone to look after their furry friend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
