I have grown up with all types of animals from dogs and cats, to birds and horses. I have a cat, two guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and a dog myself. I also have experience working over two years in an animal shelter taking care of both dogs and cats. I adopted my current dog at 5 months and we have spent the last year training, so I am comfortable using various commands to communicate with your dogs.

We couldn’t have been happier with Nona’s stay with Isabela! She took such wonderful care of her, and it was clear Nona was comfortable, happy and treated like part of the family. Isabela’s communication and updates gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Schedule
I am currently a post grad taking a semester off so I am available full time to take care of your animals. I can drop in, do dog walks, and doggy day care or overnights.

I have a large fenced in yard but live with multiple cats and a dog (who is very friendly but hyper). If that environment would not work for your animal I could do day care or drop ins at your residence, although i can only do overnights at my house.

A typical day
I have lots of experience with high energy dogs, having one myself. I love to go on adventures like local hikes, walks to parks, the beach, or just playing fetch in the backyard. I also have a very co dependent cat, so I can spend an hour throwing toys around or playing with a string. Through my experience in the shelter and personal time I have learned various enrichment activities for dogs, cats, and small animals like rabbits or guinea pigs.

- As a helicopter pet parent myself, I completely understand how stressful it can feel leaving your pet with someone new. I’m someone who leave pages of instructions for my own sitter, so please don’t hesitate to share anything that helps your pet feel more comfortable like routines, commands, behaviors, or anything else important to know ahead of time. I know new people can be unnerving for animals, and learning what makes your pet feel safe helps me give them the best care possible. I’m happy to accommodate their needs and will also keep you updated with plenty of pictures and check ins!
