Safety, trust & environment

Madi and I are pretty routine, as we prefer less chaos lol. I would request detailed instructions on routines, fun games, food/walk/play schedules, anything that makes this unique boy or girl the most comfortable they can be!, which will be a win/win for paw parents.

Information Traci P. would like to know about your pet

Most importantly, please tell me what makes your little one feel safe and comfortable. Just like me, Madi has her quirks. She will stand like a statue when a dog approaches...literally I cannot move her lol. This is something I'd want her new friend to know. They definitely tell us, but I haven't learned their little language yet, so you can be as detailed as you'd like. I want safety and preparedness for us all.

A typical day

I absolutely love taking turns tossing and catching. Depending on if they like to catch (soft toy, ball, etc), I like to toss up to them, they catch, now I toss to myself, hopefully catch it lol. I've found the furry ones I've played with, just like the kids I used to teach, they love for you (the teacher) to also do the skill when applicable, and it's amazing how many understand the concept of taking turns lol. Also, dancing and hide/seek are always on the table.

Pet care experience

I've been around dogs my whole life- growing up, our family dogs always slept in my room, played hide and seek with me, and I've always been the one naturally drawn to caring for and protecting animals that crossed my path. I currently have my own furry kid, a Shih Tzu/ Bichon mix with a pink tail, so daily walks, feeding/ potty routines, playtime, and lots of love is my joy, my connection with my soulful self. I was a schoolteacher for 8 years, elementary and middle school. I'm patient, attentive, kind, and treat every pet like I'd want a human to treat my baby. I'm comfortable with puppy care, the frequent potty schedule, supervision, and playtime. I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs (as my Boston terrier lived beautifully until the age of 15). Taking extra time on walks, giving meds, making sure they feel safe and comfy, just how I'd hope someone would care for me and/or Madi. I think I'm unique in the way that I see that every dog just like all of my former students, they're all different. They each have their own little mind filled with thoughts in their own little world. The kids and 4 legged kids, they need the same individualized care and attention, and also to feel accepted and understood.

I can’t think of anyone more perfect to trust with your pets than Traci. She has the biggest heart, especially when it comes to animals, and treats every pet like they’re part of her own family. Traci is incredibly responsible, attentive, and intuitive—she notices the little things, whether it’s a change in behavior, a favorite walking route, or the exact way your pet likes to be comforted. She’s patient with shy pets, energetic with playful ones, and always puts their safety and happiness first. Beyond that, she’s reliable, communicative, and genuinely loves spending time with animals—it’s not just a job to her. When your pet is with Traci, you can relax knowing they’re getting tons of love, care, and one-on-one attention. I would trust her with my own pets without hesitation, and any pet parent would be lucky to have her. 🐾💛

Traci is the biggest animal lover I’ve ever known. She loves pets as if they are her children. So loving and responsible. She’s the only one I trust to keep my Baxter and he loves her to pieces! She’s the greatest! You will be happy you chose her.

Traci and I were neighbors for several years, and during that time she regularly cared for my dog, Zoey, both during the day and overnight. Traci is an exceptional animal lover who goes above and beyond in the care she provides. She treated Zoey as if she were her own, always ensuring she felt safe, loved, and comfortable in her care. Zoey has a very sensitive stomach, and Traci was always attentive and conscientious about following detailed (and often changing) dietary instructions. I never had to worry when Zoey was with Traci — I knew she was in the very best hands. Sadly, Traci moved a couple years ago, but that doesn’t stop Zoey from still pulling me towards her door every time we walk past!!
