About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs for almost 7 years and have 8 years of overall experience caring for pets. I’ve babysat my neighbors’ dogs many times, and they trust me to give their pets lots of love, attention, and care while they’re away. I always send picture updates so owners can feel comfortable knowing their dogs are happy and safe. I also have a friendly dog of my own who gets along well with other dogs, and with permission, I can bring my dog to interact and play with them to help keep them active and social. I’ve been an animal lover since I was in 3rd grade, and some people even call me a “dog whisperer” because animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I truly believe dogs are one of the most loyal and loving companions a person can have, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. I am currently home from college for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I am available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and overnight care. I have years of experience caring for dogs and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have friendly dogs for social interaction if wanted, can crate dogs if needed, and always follow owners’ instructions carefully. I provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while away.
“Kala couldn’t be more amazing. She came over and met my boys the night prior to walking them for the first time and it was good vibes only! Both of my guys loved her and you could tell she is very genuine and cares about your kiddos! I work a lot of hours and would allow her to take care of my boys with no reservation! Kala is very outgoing, took great photos, and loved my boys like they are her own!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of different ages and personalities. I currently have two spayed female cats, ages 5 and 10 both are good with other animals, and previously cared for our family Morkie for many years who has since passed. I’ve also helped care for my dad’s Golden Retriever with walks, feeding, playtime, and daily routines. Being around animals has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. ✨ I work from home and have a flexible schedule through my small business, which makes it easy for me to provide attentive and reliable pet care throughout the day. 🐾 I focus on creating a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific routines their pet is used to. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine to help minimize stress while their owner is away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured and connected throughout the stay. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I always approach them with patience, attention, and gentle care.
About: I have grown up with all types of animals from dogs and cats, to birds and horses. I have a cat, two guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and a dog myself. I also have experience working over two years in an animal shelter taking care of both dogs and cats. I adopted my current dog at 5 months and we have spent the last year training, so I am comfortable using various commands to communicate with your dogs. I am currently a post grad taking a semester off so I am available full time to take care of your animals. I can drop in, do dog walks, and doggy day care or overnights. I have a large fenced in yard but live with multiple cats and a dog (who is very friendly but hyper). If that environment would not work for your animal I could do day care or drop ins at your residence, although i can only do overnights at my house.
“Shirley is amazing! Always sends lots of pictures and cares for my dog like her own. Layla is always so excited to see her and I can go to work without having to worry. Definitely recommend :)”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and grew up with two Golden Retrievers. I currently own a friendly and energetic Golden Retriever who has taught me the importance of consistency, exercise, and positive reinforcement. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful puppies to senior dogs. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or companionship while you’re away, I will treat them like my own and provide dependable, attentive care. I have a flexible schedule and am available most days, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and many same-day requests. I can often accommodate last-minute bookings and will do my best to work around your pet’s routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions exactly as requested. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and updates so you can feel confident your pet is receiving reliable and loving care while you’re away.
About: With a heart full of love and a pocket full of treats, I’m here to bring joy, comfort, and a little extra sparkle to your pet’s day. Whether it’s energizing walks, cozy cuddle sessions, or attentive pet-sitting, I make sure every furry friend feels safe, happy, and adored. I’m reliable, upbeat, and truly passionate about animals of all shapes and sizes. From playful pups to shy kitties (or divas), I get to know each pet’s unique personality and treat them like my own. You can count on me for punctuality, communication, and plenty of updates so you always know how your best buddy is doing. If you’re looking for someone who goes the extra mile (literally!) and brings good vibes to every visit, I’d love to help care for your pet. I've had my own pets and taken care of neighbors pets, family and friends pets, and voluteered at shelter from time to time. I walk dogs, long and lingering, letting them smell everything! It's like their morning paper, they "read" up on the neighborhood. I go different routes for variety! I'll throw a ball, try to teach paw, and give lots of cuddles and kisses. I even sing to the lucky dogs and cats! Some sing with me! I am ready any day after I get off work, around 7pm. Perfect for an evening walk with owners who may be in the medical or hospitality field and work nights. Or on my day's off which are Thursday and Sunday. Anytime on those days. My home has a comfy couch or bed. I have a huge yard at the end of a road so no traffic! We'll fur sure leash walk though so no worries! I’m reliable, warm, and always ready with a happy tune or a squeaky toy. Expect cheerful updates, cute photos, and a pet who can’t wait for their next Tammy-time.
“I would not hesitate to recommend Rylee for your pet’s needs. She has been wonderful. It is evident that she knows how to handle a dog, is punctual and keeps me informed. I am so grateful to have Rylee at a time when I cannot walk Lincoln myself”

“Came with fairly short notice to walk our dog. Prompt, highly communicative, friendly and considerate. Birdie really likes her as well! You can tell she really loves animals and wants to keep them happy and safe. She treats them like they are her own. Highly recommend!”

“Brittni is so accommodating with my schedule, which helps me a ton and she is soooooo good with my active and strong dog. Highly recommend. She is my first go to when I need help.”

About: I’ve had many pets from dogs and cats to a bird, turtle, and hedgehog. I’ve been determined to play with all of them, even the fish! I also have experience with elderly dogs. Mine actually passed recently of cancer so spoon feeding and an abundance of cuddles is normal to me. Im currently doing school online while at home caring from my grandparents so my schedule is pretty open and any excuse to be outside is a plus! I have two cats and a big backyard!! One cat is really sweet and friendly and the other is scared of everything but completely harmless. In a clients home, I promise i’m a good guest:)
“Julia is awesome! My super quirky pups trusted her right away and she got lots of kisses from Jack immediately. Already discussed future walks! Thank you, Julia!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pine Castle
We met Erin during a meet & greet for the first time… & from that moment I knew my pups were in great hands! Especially because my sweet old girl loved her (I’ll always trust her judge of character). Erin took great care of my senior babies on a walk through the neighborhood & backyard time. We already have Erin booked for another drop in…. 10/10 recommend!!

I cannot thank Naya enough for always taking care of my dog, Lucy. More than that, she is also very aware of her surroundings and attentive to what’s going on. The last time she visited my house, she had noticed my indoor cats broke through a screen and were outside wondering around. She spent her own time finding my cats and then making sure they were safe inside. Again- I cannot thank her enough. She is the absolute best!

Loved Skyler! Super nice and responsible, she took care of my big Goldendoodle and, despite the bad weather, she did great and never missed checking on my dog at my house. On my return, my dog looked happy and got super excited when she stopped by to bring the house keys, which told me he loved her as well… that says it all!!! Will definitely use her again and recommend🫶🏻.

We are so grateful for Valerie! She took such wonderful care of our sweet Tundra while we were out of town. Valerie always kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. You can tell she truly loves animals — Tundra looked so happy and at ease with her. Knowing she was safe, loved, and well cared for made our trip so much easier. We would absolutely recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive pet caregiver. Thank you, Valerie! 💛🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
