“She arrived right on time, was friendly and professional, and took great care of our dog during his walk. We had a great experience and would happily book with her again!”

“Devin has been an incredible dog charmer! Maddix took to him in minutes. He's courteous, flexible, knowledgeable and he was there for Maddix at the last minute. You are missing out if you don't give Devin a try! Thank you Devin for helping me out, especially at the last minute!”

“Maestro and Maggie Mae really enjoyed their time with Samantha. Of course, the first couple of walks they were a bit anxious with a new human, but by the third walk they were both waiting by the front door for her arrival. Samantha is a sweet young woman, who really seems to love her gig as a walker. We heartily recommend her, and most importantly, will reach out again for her services when required. Thanks Samantha”

“Hayley was friendly and sweet with our energetic lab. She arrived on time and took him for a great walk that helped to drain off some of his endless puppy energy. She was confident, even though he's a big boy and we will definitely use her again.”

“I was very confident in giving her access to my home. Makenzy is caring and loving. She’s very knowledgeable and took care of Bella like she was her baby. I’d definitely book services with her the next time I’m out of town.”

About: Many have said that I am a dog whisperer. I enjoy walking dogs or just being a companion for cats and dogs. I also have senior care training to include giving meds. Right now this is my only job so I am available at all times of morning, mid day and evenings. I always accept positions that leave enough time in between sittings. I have a huge fenced in back yard. I do have a Staffy and he loves making new friends. H had a small dog for 6 of his years in our home and he was so good with him.
About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have had dogs of my own for as long as I can remember! I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends throughout my life, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I also worked at a dog/cat boarding facility while I was in school & loved it! I genuinely love getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. 🐾 I’m also a huge cat lover! I have two cats of my own and regularly cat sit for friends, so I’m comfortable caring for cats and understanding their different personalities and needs as well. Whether your pet needs a walk, feeding, playtime, cuddles, or simply some company while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable trusting someone with your pets and in your home, and I’ll always do my best to give you peace of mind and keep you updated while you’re away. ❤️🐶🐱 I am a ICU nurse at Orlando Health & I decided to switch to pediatrics at Arnold Palmer Hospital starting this fall. My position doesn’t start until beginning of October so I am completely free until then! I can help take care of your fur babies any day/time of the week, I don’t have any restrictions for the months of August and September. I provide the same loving, attentive care to every pet that I give my own two kitties, who mean the absolute world to me. 🐱💕 I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your fur baby in someone else’s care, so when I visit your home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I’m attentive to their routines, feeding schedules, medications if needed, playtime, and individual personalities, while also keeping their space clean and giving them plenty of affection and companionship. My goal is always for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is being cared for with genuine love and attention while you’re away. 🐾
“I would not hesitate to recommend Rylee for your pet’s needs. She has been wonderful. It is evident that she knows how to handle a dog, is punctual and keeps me informed. I am so grateful to have Rylee at a time when I cannot walk Lincoln myself”

“Mady was very responsive and gave me constant details and updates for my worried dog mom brain. This was my first time booking through Rover and I will definitely be using it and Mady again 💖”

“Ms. Shirley is so wonderful with my fur baby. She showed great care and compassion over the loss of my senior fur baby. I’m so lucky to have found her through this platform. ❤️”

“Communication with Amanda was so easy and flawless, she is very accommodating, listens to your needs and puts your dogs well being first. Nico had fun with her! We definitely recommend her and we will keep using her services”

About: I have 4+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, primarily through regularly dog sitting and helping care for my sister’s dog since she adopted them four years ago. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, maintaining routines, and providing companionship. I’ve also cared for dogs for friends and family over the years, giving me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I recently completed an internship and am currently seeking full-time employment, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine, allowing me to provide attentive, consistent care, follow established routines, and spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship, and I can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s specific needs When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any household rules. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting their space and cues. I’m very mindful of safety and cleanliness — keeping doors secured, monitoring pets during walks or outdoor time, and leaving the home as I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel at ease while they’re away.

“Brittni is so accommodating with my schedule, which helps me a ton and she is soooooo good with my active and strong dog. Highly recommend. She is my first go to when I need help.”

About: Animal lover who has cared for dogs at a doggy daycare, including distributing medication. Will also care for other animals if needed. Thank you for the opportunity to care for your fury loved one! I’m currently out of work which leaves me with plenty of time to care for your pup. The only responsibility I have is my children who will be in school majority of the day anyway. If allowed they can also show your pets all the love in the world. I will keep your fur baby great company with lots of cuddles, walks, and anything else needed. Willing to take long walks (30 minutes or more at once) if needed.

I cannot thank Naya enough for always taking care of my dog, Lucy. More than that, she is also very aware of her surroundings and attentive to what’s going on. The last time she visited my house, she had noticed my indoor cats broke through a screen and were outside wondering around. She spent her own time finding my cats and then making sure they were safe inside. Again- I cannot thank her enough. She is the absolute best!

Came with fairly short notice to walk our dog. Prompt, highly communicative, friendly and considerate. Birdie really likes her as well! You can tell she really loves animals and wants to keep them happy and safe. She treats them like they are her own. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
