“This was our 1st time leaving Dodger with anyone other than family and our 1st time booking thru Rover. Our Dodger has some issues with trust/anxiety of strangers so I wasn't sure if this was going to work or not, but when I messaged Ginni and Tom and explained the concern they were more than willing to give it a try. Ginni reassured us that they have taken care of other dogs with the same issues and so we set up a meet and greet a couple days before the actual booking date. From the 1st moment we met Ginni and Tom I had a good feeling about them and their house and yard. They were so welcoming and made Dodger feel so relaxed. He played in their fenced in backyard for a bit then went inside the house where we visited in the living room. Dodger even snuggled up to Ginni while we chatted. We booked for 3 nights and they were so accommodating to our (somewhat picky) miniature schnauzer. I received photos and updates once a day and that really put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Ginni and Tom and we will be booking again with them.”

“I have a 130 lb reactive Rottweiler. I have been lost trying to find someone I trust with my big baby. We never get to go out because I can never find a sitter to watch him. Organizing Disney trips and Universal days has always brought me stress. Although he's a sweetheart, my dog Rollo has extreme anxiety and can seem aggressive out of fear. Boarding facilities usually won't take him because of his size to begin with and today was VERY last minute. I downloaded Rover desperate to find someone and Douglas was the first boarder to pop up. I doubted anyone would respond or be willing to watch a reactive 130 lb Rottweiler but Douglas responded to me SO fast and was SO happy to help/ find out exactly what me and my dog needed. Everything moved so quickly and he told me I could drop him off in two hours! He gave me options and we ended up agreeing to let him hang out outside during the day since his yard was fenced. I told him I was ok with him just staying in a crate during the day with no interaction as well, but when I got there I instantly felt more comfortable and could tell Douglas was a kind guy who understood dogs. Rollo was running around hanging out with the other pups in the backyard by the time I got back. We are SO, SO, SO happy we found Douglas. When I pulled up, I am not going to lie, I was like "oh no, Rollo is definitely going to get DIRTY!" Haha But let me tell you...!!! I've never seen my dog so happy. Ever. Douglas had water outside for him and a shelter/ room he could chill in if he got overwhelmed/ hot. He updated me through out the day with pictures and little updates on how he was doing. The biggest blessing - Douglas gave Rollo space. He gave me choices AND was SUPER respectful about everything I brought up to him. When we arrived to pick Rollo up they were cleaning him and his things off 🤩 even though I did NOT expect them to do that!! My family and I had an amazing day at Universal today (and it's all thanks to Douglas.) We will definitely keep in touch and use him again next time we are in Florida!!! Thank you again for everything!!!”

About: I grew up in a house with both cats and dogs where everyone got along great! Once I moved out of the house I adopted my first rescue dog and have had dogs as pets ever since. Currently fostering dogs for Orange County Animal Services and have helped them get several dogs adopted into forever homes. I have regularly helped friends with dogsitting and housesitting while they are away from home, and have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently a post grad taking a semester off so I am available full time to take care of your animals. I can drop in, do dog walks, and doggy day care or overnights. I have a large fenced in yard but live with multiple cats and a dog (who is very friendly but hyper). If that environment would not work for your animal I could do day care or drop ins at your residence, although i can only do overnights at my house.

I have a large screened-in back patio and a fully fenced backyard. Our patio includes a doggy door, so pets can safely move between indoor and outdoor spaces at their leisure.
About: I grew up in a house with both cats and dogs where everyone got along great! Once I moved out of the house I adopted my first rescue dog and have had dogs as pets ever since. Currently fostering dogs for Orange County Animal Services and have helped them get several dogs adopted into forever homes. I have regularly helped friends with dogsitting and housesitting while they are away from home, and have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. Currently working part time, from home, so my schedule is very flexible on both weekdays and weekends. Mornings or afternoons I'm available for pet play dates or walking. Trusting our pets with someone else is a big step, so I take their safety and security very seriously. When walking a dog I'm always cautious about traffic, strangers, or other pets that have been let off leash. My home has a comfy couch or bed. I have a huge yard at the end of a road so no traffic! We'll fur sure leash walk though so no worries! About: I have grown up with dogs. From the ages of 2-17, I- with my family- cared for our Cody, who lost his vision when he was about 13, but lived a full life regardless! With end of life care, I garnered a specific skill set that is a little different than most. I know which cleaners to use when there’s an accident inside, I don’t get frustrated, and I understand when dogs need some extra love. Starting at 14, I also took up volunteering at a shelter near me, and got familiar with even more different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I love all sorts of animals, having had a bearded dragon in the past, a uromastyx at the moment, and fostering birds along the way. I am comfortable with any animal that comes my way! I attend college at the University of Delaware, so I do have classes M/W/F from 9-2, but T/Tr I’m free after 1! My weekends are generally clear- with some exceptions- and I have a car, so I can travel to you! I unfortunately cannot take a pet into my home as I live in a dorm, but I can follow any instructions left for me in a client’s home! In my home, we have different feeding schedules and instructions for each pet as each has different needs, so I am capable of following whatever schedules and feedings you may have for your pets!

“I have a 130 lb reactive Rottweiler. I have been lost trying to find someone I trust with my big baby. We never get to go out because I can never find a sitter to watch him. Organizing Disney trips and Universal days has always brought me stress. Although he's a sweetheart, my dog Rollo has extreme anxiety and can seem aggressive out of fear. Boarding facilities usually won't take him because of his size to begin with and today was VERY last minute. I downloaded Rover desperate to find someone and Douglas was the first boarder to pop up. I doubted anyone would respond or be willing to watch a reactive 130 lb Rottweiler but Douglas responded to me SO fast and was SO happy to help/ find out exactly what me and my dog needed. Everything moved so quickly and he told me I could drop him off in two hours! He gave me options and we ended up agreeing to let him hang out outside during the day since his yard was fenced. I told him I was ok with him just staying in a crate during the day with no interaction as well, but when I got there I instantly felt more comfortable and could tell Douglas was a kind guy who understood dogs. Rollo was running around hanging out with the other pups in the backyard by the time I got back. We are SO, SO, SO happy we found Douglas. When I pulled up, I am not going to lie, I was like "oh no, Rollo is definitely going to get DIRTY!" Haha But let me tell you...!!! I've never seen my dog so happy. Ever. Douglas had water outside for him and a shelter/ room he could chill in if he got overwhelmed/ hot. He updated me through out the day with pictures and little updates on how he was doing. The biggest blessing - Douglas gave Rollo space. He gave me choices AND was SUPER respectful about everything I brought up to him. When we arrived to pick Rollo up they were cleaning him and his things off 🤩 even though I did NOT expect them to do that!! My family and I had an amazing day at Universal today (and it's all thanks to Douglas.) We will definitely keep in touch and use him again next time we are in Florida!!! Thank you again for everything!!!”
