“We have used David for our fur children multiple times now, and he continues to be the best guy for the job! We have 3 cats with different personalities, and he ensures each one receives attention in their own way. He even taught my crazy orange cat tricks!! He is responsive, available, and responsible. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter for our cats while away from home.”

“So happy we found Lily! Our babies took to her so quickly and we were able to enjoy an stress-free getaway. Lily was kind and communicative. She took the time to play so the boys could burn a little energy and she kept up with their food and treat routines while we were away. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Erica was great with our two dogs while we were away for a weekend. She was punctual with each visit, took tons of photos and gave us such peace of mind. We will definitely be using her again and recommend to anyone else looking for a reliable and trustworthy sitter!”

“We can’t recommend Cristina enough! She’s watched our Aussie, Logan, a few times now and has gone above and beyond every single time. From long walks and runs to sending us constant photo updates, she truly treats him like her own. Logan is a high-energy working breed, and Cristina knows exactly how to keep him happy and mentally stimulated — we can always tell how content he is when we get back home. She’s also incredibly responsible with our home, always leaving it spotless and even taking small thoughtful steps like bringing in our garbage cans. Her communication is amazing, she checks in often and keeps us updated with fun photos and videos (Logan’s chaotic, happy expressions are now a running joke between us 😆). We feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her care, and Logan absolutely adores her and her Aussie, Lorde. If you’re looking for someone dependable, kind, and genuinely great with dogs, Cristina is the one.”

“She was great; sent lots of photos and managed to win over my shy kitty. She also left a little goodie bag for them at the end which was such a sweet kind gesture.”

“Natalie came into a crazy first time working with me and 7 of my pets. One of the ferrets had neglected to get in the cage at the appropriate time and so she had to corral her. All while trying to give the appropriate attention to the cats and the dogs. She did a phenomenal job! all the Pets and the house were good to go and ready for me when I got home. Definitely recommend and will rebook.”

About: Hi, I’m Kennedy! I am living in Orlando with a fully remote job, after recently graduating from The University of Alabama. I currently have one dog of my own, a 11 year old collie/lab mix. I have also fostered throughout the past few years including Phoebe, who I fostered from 3-10 weeks old! I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes and experience with cats of different temperaments. I am always available for house stays/overnights, as I can work from your home. I am also available M-F for drop in visits/walks in the morning or evening! I know it is stressful letting someone into your home and around your fur babies! I will always provide a safe and fun environment for your pets and will always send updates after visits. I promise to always treat your pets like my own!
“Thank you Allena! The whole family appreciates your kind hearted, care and attention for both our dog and cat. They were well taken care of, and I appreciate the fact that there were no messes to clean up when we got home, yay! I know that Chip, our dog, is a little neurotic and maybe I’m putting mildly. The fact that you were able to garner his love and affection within just a few days of meeting him and set up a great relationship of trust is really a testament to your love for dogs. We were super impressed that are cat, Azzy, came out long enough for you to get a couple of pictures from his hiding spots. Thank you for sending the photos along of them when you could and for keeping up daily with their schedule. We would recommend your services to anyone. Thanks again for all that you did.”

“Kaia was a great pet sitter! She was quick to respond and sent so many photos and videos, along with great, detailed reports each visit. I would highly recommend Kaia and will be using her again in the future!”

“Hailey was great at communicating, and it was clear she understood cat behavior. I felt relieved every time I received one of her messages during our trip.”

“Rebecca was absolutely amazing!!! Even though we had limited internet on our travels, we loved getting the updates when we DID have wifi. She got professional-grade pictures of Ava, too! We look forward to having her again in the future!”

“Skye took such great care of my pitbull Kilo! She was attentive, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the visit. Kilo seemed to really enjoy his time with her, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. :)”

“Sara was great and made me feel very calm about being away from our dog and knowing he was taken care of! She was very helpful and detail oriented and we appreciated her help a lot”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have had dogs of my own for as long as I can remember! I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends throughout my life, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I also worked at a dog/cat boarding facility while I was in school & loved it! I genuinely love getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. 🐾 I’m also a huge cat lover! I have two cats of my own and regularly cat sit for friends, so I’m comfortable caring for cats and understanding their different personalities and needs as well. Whether your pet needs a walk, feeding, playtime, cuddles, or simply some company while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable trusting someone with your pets and in your home, and I’ll always do my best to give you peace of mind and keep you updated while you’re away. ❤️🐶🐱 I am a ICU nurse at Orlando Health & I decided to switch to pediatrics at Arnold Palmer Hospital starting this fall. My position doesn’t start until beginning of October so I am completely free until then! I can help take care of your fur babies any day/time of the week, I don’t have any restrictions for the months of August and September. I provide the same loving, attentive care to every pet that I give my own two kitties, who mean the absolute world to me. 🐱💕 I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your fur baby in someone else’s care, so when I visit your home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I’m attentive to their routines, feeding schedules, medications if needed, playtime, and individual personalities, while also keeping their space clean and giving them plenty of affection and companionship. My goal is always for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is being cared for with genuine love and attention while you’re away. 🐾
“Akemi is the best!! She always takes the best pics of Theo, is super sweet to him, and gives me detailed info about her visits! I know Theo also loves that she's willing to run outside with him when it isn't too hot out.”

“We were so grateful to Rylee for popping in to check on Benny. He is a senior boy, and she took things at his pace and was so sweet to him. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Rylee again!”
“Jenn is amazing! Made sure everyone was taken care of so I didn’t have to stress. The auto litter box broke at one point and she did research to fix it for us. I would recommend her to everyone!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Orlando
Allena has pet sit for us multiple times and has been great with our dog Ralphie. but this last time I cannot express how grateful we were to have her come over in a moments notice after having another sitter cancel on us! She was so communicative, caring, and flexible

David went above and beyond checking in on my cats while I was away. I only requested daily feeding, but he took care of the litter box, washed their dishes daily, played with the one cat that would come out of hiding, and he even swept up the litter tracked on the floor. Would definitely rebook!

This was our first time using rover and Hailey made us feel more than comfortable! She did two drop in visits for us on one day and with each visit she communicated prior and provided update's with a handful of pictures after. We look forward to using her in the future!

Tien did a wonderful job taking care of my sweet boy when I was away this weekend! She kept me updated on how he was doing, and was very thourough with sharing photos and feedback on their time together! She was super communicative, sweet, and gave me great peace of mind knowing my cat was in great hands!!

Rebecca has taken great care of Luke and Luffy about three times now. She does a great job at communicating and has an uncanny ability to take the best pictures of dogs! I had to take an emergency trip recently and even though the booking was requested very late she was able to fit them in into her schedule. Highly recommended!

Brooke was wonderful! She followed all instructions for care of my two kitties. One of them is especially hesitant of new people and she very quickly warmed up to Brooke. That says everything! Would definitely recommend her to cat owners looking for a trusted sitter.

I’m very grateful to Izabella for taking care of my cats for the second time! She’s always communicative, provides plenty of pictures and updates on their well-being, which gives me peace of mind while I’m away. It’s clear she genuinely cares about my cats and spends time playing with them. I’m very happy with her service and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
