“This will be my third review for Brandi, because she is amazing and has become our regular sitter. Our cat is very particular and high maintenance, and she loves Brandi. Brandi is very communicative and is a pleasure to work with.”

“Naomi is very reliable and took the initiative to secure our pets loose items in the yard during hurricane idalia..and kept me posted daily. Upon returning home our cats and property were in good condition. Thank you Naomi for your attention to details. 🐾🐾🐈🐾🐾”

“Carrie is amazing. She took care of our old English sheepdog with so much love and attention. Her communication was constant and she followed our instructions for caring for our dog perfectly. Definitely recommend!”

About: I am an animal lover with my own pets, and I use Rover when I am away. I focus on reliability, active engagement with your pets during visits, and peace of mind while you are away from your pets through good communication. I work for myself, so I have a flexible schedule to care for your pets. I work for myself, so my schedule is very flexible for visits. I have reliable transportation and a safe driving record. I am willing to accommodate any specific timing schedules needed. As a pet owner and Rover client, I understand how leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust. I treat every pet in my care as I do my own pets and promise you can trust me to keep your pets safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old. My family and friends have always relied on me to feed or take care of their pets when they are away traveling. I have previous experience working as a volunteer tech vet. I have a full time job M-F 7am-4pm. In the afternoons I am available to walk dogs. Weekends are more flexible. We can go over a schedule that would best accommodate your pet individually. I live in a small apartment, it has accesible green areas and a dog park near by. No dogs or cats living with me at the moment. I’m very responsible and will take any measure necessary to make the owner feel safe with their decision.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was little, friends and family rely on me to pet sit for their babies all the time! I have a dog and cat at home so I know how to handle both cuties! I’d love to get to know more animals and help out with your animal needs :)) I only have one class that's in the mornings (8-10AM) and I'm free for the whole day after that on Mondays and Wednesday! Thursdays I work during 5-11pm so I can do morning walks, Saturdays I work morning so I’ll be able to do evening walks! Tuesdays and Sundays are free all day! I can accommodate to any environment, if your dog would like to go out into the backyard that will happen, if they want to sit around and be lazy, that can also happen! In your home I will only be where your dog and will only touch things that are needed for your pet.
“This was my first time using Rover and Jaya Sri exceeded all my expectations. My dog Zoe is very anxious and i didn’t think she would warm up to anyone but Jaya Sri is a true dog whisperer. My mind was at ease that Zoe was loved and cared for while I was away. Communication was excellent and I always received photos and a detailed description of the visit. I will definitely book with Jaya Sri again and to anyone that isn’t sure who to select, look no further because she is incredible! ❤️”

“Davianna was wonderful! Very communicative, she wrote detailed reports and took many photos. I felt comfortable knowing she was taking care of my pet. She’s a great animal lover and it shows in how much she cares. She’s awesome!”

“Kayla is just the sweetest! My family and I moved here from Baton Rouge, LA only three days before needing an unexpected sitter for our sweet, elder beagle Otis. Kayla came to our home for our in-person meeting and we (& Otis) felt comfortable immediately. She cared for Otis 3 days in a row, and left us detailed notes and the cutest photos/videos every time. We will definitely schedule her again!”

About: Ive loved animals for as long as I remember. I also worked as a canine coach! Working along side pups daily and ensuring that their play was safe! I performed health checks as well as washes to pups! Provided fresh water and plenty of love! Just moved here from Florida and now I currently manage at your local Petsmart! I currently have open availability. Also, if you contact me a few weeks beforehand for sitting requiring me to stay in the home, I can gladly take off to come and watch your precious bean! Currently I can not work from home. Im interested in Long-term or ongoing care and any thing else! I have 1 furry friend currently, one passed away of old age at 17 years and required a lot of attention. I cared for his wounds, giving medication, etc. I have one other who will be 16. As an expierenced dog owner, I give my dogs their medications as needed, follow special dieting and so forth. I pay PLENTY attention to them as well. I have expierence of taking care of dogs of ANY age being Ive had these two since pups. I used to dog sit up North in New Jersey area and I absolutely loved it! I enjoy spending quality time with dogs whether it be playing outside, going for a walk, or just relaxing together. I do believe in getting your dog outside activity to keep them healthy and fit as well. I also accept any reasonable pay, not just what's on my profile. I have flexible schedule and Id be more than happy to try and work around this to provide a service both you and youre beloved pet will enjoy! I now have a corgi, who is an angel. An angel who requires LOTS of exercise. I let him run freely and take him on LONG walks to help tire him out as well as engaging in fun activities such as fetch!
“Once again, our cats were in good hands with Lindsey and Jacqueline! They make sure our kitties are well-fed and watered, and given plenty of love. We very much appreciate that they also clean litter, bring in mail/packages, and leave detailed messages and pictures for us so we know how everyone is doing. It’s so comforting to know our babies are kept fed and happy when Lindsey and Jacqueline take care of them while we’re away.”

About: I frequently dogsat my sister's doggy and she is like a little niece to me. On rainy days, I make sure to wipe her paws before she goes in the house after a walk. I am attentive to if she needs extra potty breaks. I also make sure to have her practice her tricks (sit, paw, up-up, bang, roll over, say bye-bye) few times everyday. I have experience with watching small dogs and dogs up to 100 lbs. I currently work from home 5 days a week so I am able to walk your pup a couple times during the day and if your baby is up for long walks, I will take him/her exploring nearby neighborhoods or going on trails for hour long walks in the evening. I have a background in nursing and experience giving dogs injections, so I’m comfortable providing extra care and administering medication if your pet needs it. I currently work from home 5 days/week and I would love to be active with your fur child and go on walks in the evenings and on my off days I live in a single home with a fenced in backyard with no pets. I live a neighborhood complex with sidewalks so I can provide frequent walks.
“Carli was great! She stopped in to visit my kitties and made sure they had all the needed. Very nice personality and excellent communicator. Would definitely recommend her to others and would book her services again in the future if needed!”

“Lena was great. She made my pup comfortable, coaxing her to go out and play and take care of business when she was being a bit shy and spooked with the storms in the area. Lena was flexible and responsive and sent pictures from her visit. Thanks again for the great job.”
“Phoebe is an absolute lifesaver! She jumped in to help me last minute and went completely above and beyond. I had a complicated situation with my three dogs and Phoebe handled everything, including three flights of stairs and some unexpected messes, with total professionalism and kindness. Because of her, I was able to focus on my trip without the constant worry I started with. She is reliable, communicative, and truly cares for your fur babies. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Thank you Christina for coming by to take care of our 5 girls. We loved the photos too. We appreciate you taking the extra time to ensure Jovi ate her dinner. We would definately have you care for them again.”

Katherine was hired last minute to take care of my dog, and she was absolutely wonderful! Her communication was excellent from start to finish, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She was very friendly, professional, and clearly cared about my dog’s well-being. My dog was well taken care of and happy when I returned. I truly appreciate her reliability and kindness, especially on such short notice. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker! 🐾💕

Denice was a total pleasure to work with. Our meet and greet went fantastic and our dogs loved her. So much so, that the little one normally will not eat when we are gone, ate all her food. If we are ever in this area again, I will definitely use her again We highly recommend her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
