About: Since 2017, I’ve had experience caring for extra large to extra small dogs breeds, cats, and other types of pets. The first puppy I had the responsibility of caring for was a husky/lab mix, I’m grateful to have been able to help him grow into a well-trained, well-mannered adult dog! I want to make sure your pet’s dietary, medical, exercise, and overall wellbeing needs are met and I’m looking forward to understanding these from you! :) I currently work in a position with a very flexible schedule. I am absolutely willing to work with a schedule that meets you and your pets needs! I will treat your mammalian, reptilian, or aquatic loved ones like I do my own - with kindness, love, and respect! I want to make sure they are comfortable as possible while you’re away.
“Jenna is absolutely amazing! We had a small hiccup with the house key early on but we got it worked out quick and easy. Jenna took a ton of photos of my kiddo and was super communicative the entire time. Thank you so much for everything, I would absolutely rebook on my next trip! ❤️”

“Cheyenne is an awesome dog walker! She responds quickly to a request, and treats your dog with the best care. I have had a few last minute dog walking needs and Cheyenne tries her best to accommodate!”

“A+++ dog walker/pet professional! Rebecca was great, and my dog Cooper couldn’t have been happier. Timely, communicative, thoughtful — all of the things. Highly recommend!”

“Carolina did a wonderful job with Levi for his drop in visit! She kept me well informed and made sure my little guy was feeling relaxed before leaving him, and overall exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by dogs and truly love caring for them. I’ve had experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from a Maltese and rescue mutts to a German Shepherd and my current 130 lb Doberman. Caring for dogs at different stages of life has given me experience with everything from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. I’m currently a student at the University of Florida studying Business Administration and Sport Management. As a lifelong athlete, I’m active, patient, and able to keep up with energetic pups who love walks, playtime, and adventure. I’m reliable, responsible, and will treat your dog like they’re part of my own family. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. As a student, during the weekdays I have the afternoon and evenings free. I am available during the weekends any time to walk your dog. During the summer I will have a lot more availability and flexibility with my schedule. I care for every pet based on their individual needs, personality, and routine. I’ll make sure they stay on their normal schedule with feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I’m experienced with crate training, large breeds, and high-energy dogs, so I’m comfortable adapting to different training styles and routines. When caring for a pet in their own home, I’ll respect your space and keep you updated with pictures and messages so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“My cats absolutely love Kellye! She took the time to get to know each of them, learning their quirks and giving them so much love while we are away! As a pet sitter myself, I know the importance of finding someone you can truly trust with your animals and I am happy I found that in Kellye!! 🥰”

“Isabella was/is great, she had 3 boys to look after and she always sent pics and a paragraph of their activities. We also have a pet with medication and she administered that with no problem, even sent a picture of that too! 6 stars, will try to get her again!”

“Lexus was very professional and friendly. She helped calm our nerves by coming to our house to meet our dog and talk with us about expectations. Lexus was always on time and kept us updated with photos and reports. Shiloh loved her!! We will definitely be booking her again in the future! Thank you, Lexus!”

“Absolutely love Jereny. She is very sweet, sends great pics, and actually spends time with the cats. She actually listens to special considerations with cat behavior and we were thrilled to see our slightly wary cat open up to her with time.”

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs and understand the extra patience and care they need. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
