"The Dog Mom Expert"!
With over 20 years of caring for pets, my friends and family jokingly refer to me as "the dog mom expert"! And unless they’re all lying to me, I don't think they are too far off. Ha! 😆 You can usually find me covered in dog hair most days, posting about my many dog adventures on social media. I have plenty of experience in caring for puppies to senior pets with extensive medical needs as I’ve owned a few myself! ***I have a huge soft spot for senior doggos❤️ *** I am a volunteer foster for a local dog rescue and part of the transport team. I also regularly dog sit for several of my neighbors and love every minute of it! Is your pupper a “velcro dog”? That’s ok! I work from home only and on a part time basis. So your pet will have lot's of love from me daily! If I do leave the house, it is never for more than 4 hours at a time. For daycare and boarding, I have a medium size fenced in yard and never leave pets outside unattended. I make sure they do their business and play a little if they want. I have a doggy gate inside separating 2 areas of my house, allowing for dogs to have some space from each other when needed. I also have 2 crates and familiar with crate training and potty training schedules. I do not have stairs, so dogs with mobility issues don't have to worry about that. I aways feed pets in my home separately to ensure safety during feeding times. And in the event I do leave my house, dogs will be separated from each other with a doggy gate or crated as well. For walks and drop ins, I love walking dogs and allowing them to get some exercise and go on sniff adventures. For dogs that don’t go on long walks, we will spend our time playing, cuddling, and treats of course! I love to take lots of pics and videos and share them with my clients daily. I know how just having a quick update can help so much with peace of mind!

Sara is amazing! She took such great care of our senior pup, Nala, especially over the 4th of July when fireworks can be stressful. She made sure Nala was comfortable and happy, and sent photo and text updates throughout her stay. Sara was so attentive and thoughtful — I felt completely confident that Nala was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Milo, our 1-year 3-month old bernedoodle, had a wonderful week-long stay with Sara! As background, we'd gotten feedback that Milo gets stressed when boarded away from people... so it was important for us to find a home-like environment. We did a trial night first, and Sara said it went well... but the ultimate tell was when Milo came home in the morning, instantly ate his breakfast, and immediately wanted to play. He showed no signs of having been stressed by his first night at her house. Encouraged, we moved forward with the full week. Throughout our trip we received messages and photos updating us on Milo's stay. Sara was even courteous enough to double-check that we were happy with the frequency of updates. She wanted to make sure we were informed without feeling like she was encroaching on our vacation. So thoughtful! On the 3rd morning after we left, Sara let us know that Milo had thrown up a few times and wasn't eating. We scheduled a vet appointment and ***she took him to the vet***, relaying all information from the doctor and subsequently administering medication to knock out a bacterial infection over the duration of our trip. To be clear, Milo didn't get sick at Sara's place; he definitely had something brewing when we left, as he had thrown up 2 or 3 times in the preceding 2 weeks. We just mistakenly thought that was a side effect from a recent booster or cytopoint injection. So, literally, between the vet visit, the meds, cuddles with Sara and her dog Kian, and lots of TLC, Sara gave Milo back to us healthier than when we left him. And from all the photos, it looked like he felt perfectly at home the entire time he was there, even when he wasn't feeling 100%. We would give Sara 10 stars if we could, but unfortunately the scale tops out at 5. Sara is top-tier care for your four-legged family member! Don't hesitate to book her.

I currently work from home on a part time basis, so my schedule is flexible for the most part. My available hours are typically 9am-5 pm.

For boarding and day care clients, I have a large separate area of my house that is just dedicated to the dogs. I have crates, plenty of plush toys, and enrichment toys as well! When entering someone else’s home, I try to be respectful as possible. And aware of any messes I may have made while playing with your dog. I do not mind cameras in the home, as I have a few myself!

I love to take dogs on "sniffaris" and let them sniff on walks until their heart is content! We also walk a few blocks in my neighborhood, taking a different route each time. I have plenty of enrichment toys....snuffle mats, kongs, etc. We can play fetch in the backyard. And on hot days, I pull out the kiddie pool and let the dogs splash around for a while.
