About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. I also don’t mind if they snuggle next to me on the bed or if they want to relax on the couch.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and genuinely can’t imagine a home without them! 🐾 My love for animals also led me to volunteer at the Humane Society, where I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with pets of different breeds, personalities, and backgrounds. I also have previous pet-sitting experience through Rover and understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’m patient, attentive, and truly passionate about making every animal feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Your pet won’t just be another booking to me. I’ll care for them like I would my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and fun while you’re away! I work fully remote from home, which gives me lots of flexibility and allows me to be present with your pet throughout the day! I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention rather than leaving your pet alone for long stretches. My schedule is flexible, so I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with me. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, or other needs. I’m attentive and will make sure your pet is supervised, secure on walks, and given plenty of love and attention. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing!

About: I grew up caring for multiple large dogs and cats simultaneously. One of the two labs required extra care as he lost a rear limb when he was a puppy. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. For cats I groom and brush daily as well as reinforce positive behavior through praise training.
