About: When I was 12 years old, I created my own business, "Dog Walking Done Wright", where I would house sit/dog sit in my neighborhood. Once I turned 16 and was able to drive, I became an employee at KampK9, a local doggy day care, where I learned the ins/outs of pet care. I think that both having my own business and becoming a part of one has given me many skills that I use today to do it the WRIGHT way. I make sure that once given the opportunity to care for my clients' pets, I make them the priority of my days. No owner wants their dogs/cats to be forgotten, so I make sure that they become a fever important element of my day. For house sitting, I would stay in the house most of the day/night. For drop ins, I would stay 30-45 minutes. For dog walking, it would depend how long the owner would want the walk to be, plus some extra time with the dog after the walk.

About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate. I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. About: I've been pet-sitting for friends, family, and referrals for the past 10 years. Yorkies, Doodles, Dachshunds, and other mixed breed dogs, cats, and birds. About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. Please send your dog with their food (either pre-portioned or with a measuring scoop/cup), their treats, leash and collar and any other items such as toys. In order to ensure the safest environment for both families, I only care for one clients pets at a time in my home. Don't worry, they will still have plenty of new friends to play with since I have 3 dogs and a cat. I've been a pet owner my whole life. My husband and I fostered huskies for the past year through the Husky Haven organization until we a foster fail. We now have 3 dogs and a cat (who knows how to keep her distance). All of our animals are up to date on their vaccines and are always excited to make new friends. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible and I love being active! Since I work from home, your pup will be with someone at all times. We have a HUGE backyard with a 6 foot fence, a pool and plenty of lizards, birds, and squirrels to chase. We also have plenty of toys to play with and a large crate and dogs beds perfect for resting.
