“I had a great experience and will definitely rebook in the future! I hate leaving my babies when I travel but it gave me peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. She even brought my package in that was delivered while I was away which is very much appreciated. Thank you so much!☺️☺️”

“Peter has come over several times and made quick friends with our dogs. 🐾 This is the first time someone outside of family has cared for them. A member of our pack is dog aggressive and fearful. Peter worked his magic to make this dog feel comfortable, calm, and loved. 💕 He was also super patient with me and helped me feel comfortable with a "stranger" taking care of our babies. During his visits, he followed all directions and asked questions to make sure the dogs got great care. Peter is such a friendly soul that he's no longer a stranger, but a friend to us all. 🙏 I cannot thank Peter enough for his outstanding service. We already have him scheduled to pet- and house-sit for 2 weeks. ☺️”

“Jereny is a fantastic pet sitter. She takes care of my two cats, Harley and Ray quite often when I travel for work. They are always in a great mood when I get back home because she takes great care of them.”

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs and understand the extra patience and care they need. Friends and family have trusted me for years to walk their dogs and provide reliable, loving pet sitting. I treat every pet like my own—whether that means long walks, belly rubs, or just keeping them company while you're away. I’m a college student on summer break, so I have a lot of free time and a super flexible schedule right now. Pet care fits in really easily for me—I’m available most days and happy to work with whatever routine your pet is used to! Whether I’m watching your pet at my place or yours, I make sure they’re safe, comfy, and happy. I follow your instructions and give them lots of love. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own and always be watching them with my full attention!
“Rebecca has been a very reliable and trustworthy dog sitter. She always leaves cute and in-depth descriptions of her check-ins in the Rover cards and goes above and beyond in her care of my dog. She takes him on decently long walks and even occasionally stops by the dog park in my community with him. She also offered to help do some training with him. Her rates are really affordable and she is very flexible to adjust to my changing schedule. Rebecca is a great dog sitter and she is my top choice on Rover!”

“Rebecca kept me up to date on when she was going to see River and took great care of him! She went above and beyond what I asked of her and even sent pictures of him! I will definitely be asking her to watch him in the future!”

“Jenna was amazing with our two large dogs. She came over before the schedule visit to meet the dogs and review instructions. She was prompt on schedule visit times and sent plenty of pics. We know our fur babies were well cared for and can’t wait to have her again!”

“Nina was absolutely amazing and quick to respond! I usually don’t trust people without getting to meet them but Nina was truly amazing with my pups and will rebook again :)”

About: I have been a huge animal lover and caretaker ever since I was a child. I have a multitude of experiences with animals from all walks of life through my own personal pets and volunteering experiences with local rescues. I am currently a foster for a local rescue (Husky Haven) and I have experience with dogs of all ages (from puppy to senior) and have worked on house-training, proper leash manners, crate-training, socializing, and loving the dogs to get them adopted into their forever home. As someone who owns two dogs, I know it can be stressful finding someone to take care of your furry family members. I will do everything I can to give your pets the best care and communicate with you/send loads of pictures so you have an ease of mind! I have a job where I always work evenings, so I am free every day of the week from the morning to the afternoon (6 am-3pm). I also have weekend availability! If you have a fenced-in yard, I will monitor your dog make sure your dog does not escape or get into anything that would harm them. If you do not have a fence, I will make sure the dog is in a secure environment at all times and be careful to harness and leash them before taking them out.

“Lexus was very professional and friendly. She helped calm our nerves by coming to our house to meet our dog and talk with us about expectations. Lexus was always on time and kept us updated with photos and reports. Shiloh loved her!! We will definitely be booking her again in the future! Thank you, Lexus!”

“Carolina did a wonderful job with Levi for his drop in visit! She kept me well informed and made sure my little guy was feeling relaxed before leaving him, and overall exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend her!”

“My cats absolutely love Kellye! She took the time to get to know each of them, learning their quirks and giving them so much love while we are away! As a pet sitter myself, I know the importance of finding someone you can truly trust with your animals and I am happy I found that in Kellye!! 🥰”

“David is great! He is so good with our girl Luna and is dedicated to helping her with her manners with every interaction. David’s patience and enthusiasm for supporting Luna is really appreciated, especially because she can be stubborn! I also can’t overstate how professional and reliable David has been. It has been difficult to find someone we feel comfortable trusting with our girl and I am so glad to have David to work with!”

“Tatiana replaced our smoke alarm battery when it died while we were away because it kept beeping and she was concerned for Molly. This is not a sitter who goes through the motions (although she is thorough with photos and check-ins) but rather she cares about your home and your pet.”

Amber is fantastic! She did a great job communicating with me throughout my trip and took wonderful care of my guinea pigs and chinchilla. I would absolutely book with Amber again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Natalie came into a crazy first time working with me and 7 of my pets. One of the ferrets had neglected to get in the cage at the appropriate time and so she had to corral her. All while trying to give the appropriate attention to the cats and the dogs. She did a phenomenal job! all the Pets and the house were good to go and ready for me when I got home. Definitely recommend and will rebook.

I cannot recommend Zoe highly enough. From the moment I entrusted my three cats to her care, I knew they were in excellent hands. One of my cats, Hope, has special medical needs and requires nebulizer treatments. She handled those treatments with confidence, patience, and ease, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. It's not easy to find someone who is both capable and comfortable providing that level of care. Beyond meeting their physical needs, she genuinely spent quality time with all three of my cats. She played with them, gave them attention and affection, and treated them as if they were her own. It was clear from the photos and updates she sent that she truly cared about their well-being and happiness. She was consistently punctual, reliable, and professional. Every visit was communicated clearly, and I received thoughtful updates and pictures each time, which meant so much to me. As a pet parent, especially to a cat with medical needs, that level of communication is invaluable. What sets her apart is her empathy and genuine love for animals. She doesn't simply "check in" on pets, she cares for them. Knowing my cats were safe, loved, and receiving excellent care allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away without worry. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, dependable, and exceptional with animals, I would recommend her without hesitation.

Jazzlyn is super communicative and responsive, and she took great care of my two kitties, including my high needs senior cat who needed medication twice daily. She fearlessly administered it for him, which is exactly what he needed. She even spent extra time with him so he wouldn’t feel so lonely. I highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
