“Yuen Ying is excellent with pets. She has a genuine care and earnestness about her. We can tell that our dog Panda was less restless due to having a play date in the middle of the day while we were at work.”

“Erin took great care of the kitties while I was away. I didn’t worry for one minute! She is friendly and trustworthy and I will request Erin to drop by again next time I’m traveling.”

“It was great having Erika drop in on my kittens. She came over to meet them prior to me booking her which made me feel better and I’m sure it helped with my kittens as well. She was very and friendly and did everything I asked for my kittens. Sent me lots of pictures and videos too. Will be booking her again :)”

“I’m so happy I found Brooke. Being in a new city I had to start fresh with a new pet sitter and I couldn’t be happier! Already booked her for a second time. She even gave a cute little goodie bag for my cats. So sweet! 10/10”

“Lexus was the best cat sitter we have ever had! She was very organized, professional, and loving towards our animals. She used great judgement to resolve any issues between our two cats, as we adopted a kitten recently and our older cat is still adjusting. We will definitely be working with Lexus again!”

“Jazzlyn is super communicative and responsive, and she took great care of my two kitties, including my high needs senior cat who needed medication twice daily. She fearlessly administered it for him, which is exactly what he needed. She even spent extra time with him so he wouldn’t feel so lonely. I highly recommend!”

About: Hello. My name is Martha and I can't wait to meet your best little friend. I have been taking care of my own pets for the last 40 years and would love help take care of your fantastic four legged babies. My current doggie Zoey is a 1 year old Jackabee who requires lots of activities and exercise that I happily give her daily in our large fenced in back yard and multiple trips to a near by Dog Park at Park of the Americas. Currently I am between jobs so I am able to give full time care for your sweet puppy, which is great for those potty emergencies. Even in the event that I would have to leave it's never longer than an hour and my Mother or Husband would be home to help. I have a big fenced in yard that is perfect for play and exercise. Rainy days aren't a problem cause we have a spacious screened in porch. Overnight we keep our Zoey in a crate near our bed and we are able to divide space in the house if your fur baby needs quiet time. There are two beautiful parks within walking distance, one with a Dog Park. I have two kids that love dogs and are eager to help play with there new Puppy Dog Pal. I have taken care of several older dogs in my time including giving medication, appropriate exercise and proper diet. I do ask that your pet be potty trained Please. I am in between jobs right now so I've got plenty of time to look after your sweet puppers. They will have plenty of open spaces, either in our yard or at the Dog Park that's within walking distance. We have a very large fenced in back yard. For rainy days we can play on our spacious screened in porch. In my life I've taken care of older pets too including giving medication, appropriate exercise and proper diet. Our Pup and all her furry friends get all the love and affection they'll ever need, and then some more.

About: Animals have always been a huge passion of mine, and I have 5 years of professional experience working in two dog kennels. Through my work, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, personalities, and energy levels while handling feeding, medications, potty breaks, cleaning, walks, and daily care routines. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping owners updated along the way. I treat every pet like they’re my own! I currently have open availability, which allows me to fully focus on your pet’s care and routine while you’re away. Because I do not have another job at the moment, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and consistency throughout the day. I’m flexible with scheduling and committed to making sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for at all times. I currently offer care in clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home, and I always strive to provide respectful, dependable, and attentive care. I do have pets at home, but they are well cared for by my parents while I’m away caring for clients’ pets, allowing me to fully focus on the animals in my care. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, communication, and making sure every pet feels loved and comfortable while their owners are away.
“Nina saved me with a last minute request when LuLu and I arrived after a long day of travel from Denver to Orlando. She came to our hotel and got LuLu some much needed exercise and vitamin D. I sent her a lot of instructions and everything seemed to go smoothly and puppy was happy when I got home!”

“Shirley is everything you’d hope for in a sitter. She really goes above and beyond to keep you up to donate and to become your pet’s best friend. Can’t recommend her enough.”

“Natalie is great! Our cats loved her, she was very attentive, and she made it much easier to go on vacation knowing they were taken care of. One of our cats has diabetes and she made sure he ate and got his insulin injections twice a day. I appreciated her check-ins and good communication. Highly recommend.”

“Catherine was so great! She gave a description of what she did while she was here and sent pictures!! I had complete peace of mind because of her!! I definitely recommend her services!!!!! 6 stars if I could!!!! ?”

“Kelley was a great pet sitter!! This was our first time using Rover and Kelley made it a very positive one. We had her stop in to feed and love on our cat while we were gone for a short trip. She was punctual, easy to communicate with and our cat warmed up to her very quickly. Would highly recommend using Kelley for dog or cat sitting.”

“Hannah was AMAZING! She went above & beyond to make our pets comfortable. We had some issues with our house while we were away and she helped us with that as well. She stayed in contact with us nonstop and our dogs adored her. She was always prompt and stayed the full length of time, and sometimes longer to help with our house situation. She also took the dogs on an unplanned walk, just to help get them out of the house for a bit. She truly was amazing. We recommend Hannah 1000% and hope to use her every time we go out of town!”

“Kaia took great care of my cat and home while I was away on business. She followed all my instructions, was always on time, and took great photos! Highly recommend.”

Amber is fantastic! She did a great job communicating with me throughout my trip and took wonderful care of my guinea pigs and chinchilla. I would absolutely book with Amber again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Jazzlyn is super communicative and responsive, and she took great care of my two kitties, including my high needs senior cat who needed medication twice daily. She fearlessly administered it for him, which is exactly what he needed. She even spent extra time with him so he wouldn’t feel so lonely. I highly recommend!

Erin did an absolutely fabulous job looking after our two cats. She went above and beyond by taking our cat to two veterinary appointments - we knew ahead of time that at least one appointment would be necessary, but Erin even helped out by scheduling the second appointment herself while we were traveling without phone service. She is lovely to chat with, friendly, responsive, transparent, and professional. It was wonderful to have peace of mind knowing our injured cat was in her care. We would (and hopefully will!) 100% book additional services with Erin in the future and recommend her to anyone we know. Thank you so much again, Erin! ❤️

Lexus was the best cat sitter we have ever had! She was very organized, professional, and loving towards our animals. She used great judgement to resolve any issues between our two cats, as we adopted a kitten recently and our older cat is still adjusting. We will definitely be working with Lexus again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Azalea Park. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
