What amazed me is that one of my three cats is very shy and wouldn’t even come out when there is people that he doesn’t know in the house. He would go hide under the bed! Before I left I told Olivia that I am not expecting her to see much of him because how uncomfortable he would be around people he doesn’t know! To my surprise, the cat was out peeking at her from upstairs from the second visit! Then he slowly came downstairs to see her and he was very comfortable with her after that! She gave him his space and made him trust her, and he would even play with her! She was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Olivia so much for all the love and care you provided for my kitties! Just a quick note: During a typical stay, I may step out for short periods (1-2 hours max). If your pup needs around-the-clock supervision (for example, due to separation anxiety, medical needs, or simply extra comfort), that would fall under Rover’s constant care, which I offer at a flat rate of $115 per day. My goal is to leave you feeling comfortable and confident that when your pet is in my care, they are treated like family- with a patient, attentive, and nurturing approach that fosters genuine connection, safety, and trust.

About: Since I was 5, I grew up around family dogs seeing babies born and even helping pups come into the world before I was 10. That’s when I realized pets aren’t just animals they’re really part of our hearts and souls. When I was 10, I lost my heart and soul to leukemia my Boston Terrier mix, who fought so hard the first time. I still mourn her almost 10 years later and think about her often. After seeing her pass, I knew I wanted to care for animals. Since then, I’ve trained dogs, helped birth puppies, and been surrounded by all types of pets, but dogs will always be where it all started for me. While many people share a love for animals, I actually grew up with all kinds of breeds and personalities down to how they even come into this world. I’ve had hands-on skills for as long as I can remember. While others may have grown up with dogs, not everyone has done training, gotten certifications, or joined programs like FFA. I was in FFA (Future Farmers of America) for 3 years, working with animals and doing community service projects that included our furry friends. That, plus 13 years of animal knowledge that keeps growing every day, is what makes this more than just a job for me it’s who I am. Honestly, I’m freelancing right now and using Rover as my main source of income and I don’t mind it one bit. I genuinely love what I do. Taking care of pets isn’t just work to me, it’s something that actually makes me happy. Every walk, every cuddle, every tail wag reminds me why I chose this over a regular 9-to-5. Rather than only watching pets in my own home, I’m totally willing to commute. I make sure to learn about any possible triggers (especially if the cat has a history of trauma, I always ask to be safe). I do regular check-ins every hour to update how the animal is doing. I also ask where food, treats, or canned food is stored just in case. I always check with the owner if there’s anything specific they’d like me to do like playtime, brushing, litter duty, or anything extra. I also make sure to ask about any allergies ahead of time in case something in the environment could cause a reaction.

We’ve cared for cats with asthma, diabetes, vision and hearing impairments, and other unique needs, and we also look after a small group of TNR cats. We were also proud dog parents for 16 years, so we know how important daily walks, playtime, and companionship are. With us, your pets get reliable, personalized attention every time. Although I'm the main point of contact, there will be another person helping with the pet care, which is my husband. I work from home, he works from home most of the year, which gives us plenty of flexibility and availability throughout the week and on weekends. We're also available for most holidays, so you can count on us when you need reliable care, even during busy times. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. About: I’ve never not had a pet to take care of. I’ve had more experience with cats but I do have experience with dogs big and small, old and young. I’m currently a full-time college student and have classes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning to noon, so pet care on those days will have to be after class. Any other day at any time i am completely available and flexible for pet care. I make sure all pets are properly fed and given water and make sure they’re taken for walks when needed. I also make sure i dedicate time for playing and snuggling if permitted by the parent(s)
