“We had a wonderful experience with Isabella. She took excellent care of our dog and was very attentive to all of her needs. I really appreciated receiving updates and photos after every visit—it was always so nice to know how Savannah spent her day. Isabella is reliable, caring, and truly professional. She gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. We would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, and we will definitely book with her again!”

“Jenna is very responsive to messages. She takes great care of Dinkie and makes sure to communicate any concerns. Highly recommend her for care of your fur baby!”

“They came to meet and greet Molly, to bond with her before they began walking her. They followed every detailed instruction I left for them while I was away, including feeding my fishes besides going for a walk with Molly. I was away for 7 days and Molly was in high spirits when we came back! Highly recommend.”

“Cheyenne took such amazing care of our animals. We finally felt comfortable being away from home because she was so attentive and gave them so much love. Her pictures were priceless. We are so happy we found her and can’t wait to use her services again in the future!”

“Our love for Emma knows NO BOUNDS! 1. She takes care of our baby like she is her own and appreciates all the fun quirks of her personality. 2. She goes above and beyond — often comes early and stays late, gives medication, and helped care for our girl after she had surgery. She is by far our favorite Rover sitter and we will always request her first! She is the best!”

“Glacie was great with my kitty. He needs lots of attention and I really appciate the time she spent with him. He got comfortable enough with her after one day to roll on his back and beg for belly pets. It was easy to take a vacation, know he’s not lonely and taken care of. Will definately use her services next time we plan a vacation.”

“Kaia was a great pet sitter! She was quick to respond and sent so many photos and videos, along with great, detailed reports each visit. I would highly recommend Kaia and will be using her again in the future!”

“First time Rover family and so thankful for reviews we read for Nina. She responded right away to our booking request. Loved the photos of my girls and knowing they were being loved on. Highly recommend Nina!”

“Emma was absolutely wonderful with my pets! She provided drop-in visits twice a day on the days when my boyfriend or neighbor wasn’t able to be there, and she handled all of their complicated little routines so easily. I was honestly a little nervous about finding someone who could keep up with everything, but Emma was fantastic. Her daily reports were incredibly detailed, and I really appreciated knowing how each visit went and how my pets were doing throughout my trip. She made me feel completely comfortable knowing they were being checked on, cared for, and getting everything they needed while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Emma and would happily book her again! ❤️”

“Brooke went above and beyond caring for Azula. This was my first time leaving Azula and using Rover, and Brooke was truly the best. She would send over daily pictures of Azula and I loved seeing them everyday because I knew she was being well cared for!”

“My cats absolutely love Kellye! She took the time to get to know each of them, learning their quirks and giving them so much love while we are away! As a pet sitter myself, I know the importance of finding someone you can truly trust with your animals and I am happy I found that in Kellye!! 🥰”

“Kelley took great care of my fur babies. I loved getting photos and videos of every visit. Communication was so easy. This was my first time away from my girls. I was immediately at ease. Thank you so much. I am incredibly grateful.”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life! I am currently a cat mom to a long-haired tuxie with a big personality. I have helped my family raise two high-energy Australian shepherds, given insulin shots to my diabetic cats, and walked big dogs who like to pull hard. I have cared for my own kittens and puppies from baby to senior adults. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and love spending my time with furry friends. I just graduated with my PhD and am currently job hunting, so I have lots of availability to care for your sweet pets! I am happy to stop by throughout the day, go for walks, and sit with your animals so they're not alone. My goal is to be very thorough with your pets routine. When possible, I would like to set up a meet and greet and learn where all food/treats/toys/medicine/litter/crate, etc is kept. I also will be sure to collect vet information, in case of emergency. I will make sure fences are shut or animals are properly leashed before going outside. I also want to make sure pets stay in their designated areas and follow your instructions for them. I am also used to cleaning up after pets, so that's not a problem either!
“Natalie has been amazing with my dogs, Gus Gus and Lady! She has been super easy to communicate with and very kind. She followed all of my detailed instructions perfectly, including medications and special diets for each dog. I'm normally very nervous leaving my pups with someone new, but I felt really comfortable leaving them in her care! Her knowledge and background with animals and work in a vet clinic were also huge benefits for me because my dog Gus Gus has some medical issues, so if there was an emergency I trust she'd know what to do even better than I would. I really appreciated getting a chance to meet Natalie beforehand and introduce her to the pups. I will definitely be using her services again in the future! :)”

“Sage was very happy with his new paw friend 🐾 great communication and updates, Bailey did not skip a beat! Always on time! She’s everything you want and need as a pet sitter!”

Cheyenne went above and beyond to take care of our little zoo. She spent quality time with them, sent us the most precious photos and videos, and took care of them better than anyone we've ever trusted with the lot. With four cats and a big doggo, she had her hands full! Would absolutely recommend her to care for you babes.

Camryn was amazing!! Camryn was communicative throughout my entire trip and I felt extremely comfortable leaving my girls alone. She took daily pictures and kept me updated as necessary. The entire process from start to finish went smoothly. She took great care of my girls and would love to have her again! I’m so grateful for her and all she did for us. I would absolutely recommend Camryn for your pet needs. Thank you, Camyrn! :)

I cannot recommend Zoe highly enough. From the moment I entrusted my three cats to her care, I knew they were in excellent hands. One of my cats, Hope, has special medical needs and requires nebulizer treatments. She handled those treatments with confidence, patience, and ease, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. It's not easy to find someone who is both capable and comfortable providing that level of care. Beyond meeting their physical needs, she genuinely spent quality time with all three of my cats. She played with them, gave them attention and affection, and treated them as if they were her own. It was clear from the photos and updates she sent that she truly cared about their well-being and happiness. She was consistently punctual, reliable, and professional. Every visit was communicated clearly, and I received thoughtful updates and pictures each time, which meant so much to me. As a pet parent, especially to a cat with medical needs, that level of communication is invaluable. What sets her apart is her empathy and genuine love for animals. She doesn't simply "check in" on pets, she cares for them. Knowing my cats were safe, loved, and receiving excellent care allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away without worry. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, dependable, and exceptional with animals, I would recommend her without hesitation.

Jazzlyn is super communicative and responsive, and she took great care of my two kitties, including my high needs senior cat who needed medication twice daily. She fearlessly administered it for him, which is exactly what he needed. She even spent extra time with him so he wouldn’t feel so lonely. I highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Aloma. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
