*Please take the time to read my profile as there is information I request to know about your furbabe!* Hi, I’m Jenna. I’ve been around animals my whole life—dogs, cats, and even the occasional exotic pet. I spent 4.5 years working at an animal clinic, mainly in the boarding facility, where I cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I also assisted on the hospital side, so I’m comfortable giving medications and noticing when something seems off with a pet’s health. For the last 11 years, I’ve been a proud cat mom, and I treat every animal I care for like they’re my own. This isn’t just something I do on the side—it’s something I really care about. My mom and I have actually turned pet sitting into a family business. If I’m ever unavailable, she may be able to help. If you're looking for someone dependable, experienced, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being, I’d love to help. As we get into the Holiday Season, please note- there is a separate holiday fee that gets applied to your booking request. Please be aware of that price change on your booking inquiry as what appears is not the normal price point for rover sitters! If the requested services are on the actual holiday that fee will be applied automatically by rover.

Jenna was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I met her, I felt completely comfortable leaving my pups in her care. While I was away, she sent me constant updates, pictures, and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. I never had to wonder how they were doing because she kept me updated every step of the way. It’s not easy for me to leave my dogs, especially my senior pup, but Jenna made the entire experience completely stress-free. I could tell they were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for, which allowed me to actually relax and enjoy my trip. Jenna is kind, attentive, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I came home to two happy pups and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will absolutely be using her again and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their fur babies. ❤️🐾

I cannot recommend Jenna enough! She truly went above and beyond while caring for my cats during the week I was away. My trip came together very suddenly, and on top of that, I completely forgot to remove the interior lock from my door before I left. I was so stressed thinking my pets wouldn't be able to be cared for, but Jenna didn't panic. She remained patient, resourceful, and found a way to safely get inside so my cats were never without the care they needed. That alone meant the world to me. Throughout the entire week, her communication was exceptional. She kept me updated with messages, and photos, letting me know how each of my cats was doing. As a pet owner, especially with multiple cats, that constant communication gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I never had to wonder if they were okay because she always kept me informed. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about my pets and treated them as if they were her own. She paid attention to their individual personalities, made sure they were fed, had fresh water, clean litter boxes, and gave them love and attention instead of simply stopping by to complete a task. Finding someone you can truly trust with your animals is rare, and Jenna exceeded every expectation I had. She is reliable, compassionate, professional, and incredibly dependable. If you're looking for someone who will not only care for your pets but also make you feel completely at ease while you're away, Jenna is the person to call. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future! 👏🏽💕✨

Schedule

Pet care is a full-time part of my life now. After years in the insurance industry, I made the decision to step away from the 9–5 and focus completely on working with animals. My schedule is flexible and built entirely around the needs of the pets I care for—whether that means early mornings, late nights, or midday drop-ins. Because this is my primary job, I’m able to give your pet the attention they deserve and the consistency you’re looking for. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away—and I always provide updates, notes, and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or hosting them in mine, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they get plenty of interaction, play, and care based on their personality and energy level. I have experience with pets of all ages, including seniors and those with special medical needs. I'm comfortable administering oral medications and keeping a close eye on any changes in behavior or appetite, especially with older pets who may need extra support and patience. When watching pets in their own home, I stick to their usual feeding, potty, and walk schedules to reduce stress and help them feel secure while you’re away. I also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how they’re doing. For boarding in my home: I live in a private studio space attached to the main house. While I do have cats, they are kept completely separate during any boarding stays—with two closed-off hallways and doors between them and your pet. This way, your dog won’t even know they’re there. I also have direct access to a securely fenced backyard for potty breaks and outdoor time. Meet and greets are encouraged so you can check out the space and feel confident your pet will be safe and cared for.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me depends on your pet’s energy level and routine, but no matter what—we keep things active, calm, and consistent. Walks, playtime, meals, and snuggles are all part of the day, tailored to your pet’s needs. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, we’ll stick to your usual routine. Walks around your neighborhood, fetch in the yard, or just relaxing together if your pup prefers a slower pace—it’s all about what makes them feel safe and happy. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll have access to a large, fenced-in backyard where they can run, explore, and play freely. I also live in a quiet neighborhood with minimal dog traffic, so outdoor time is peaceful and safe. Whether your pet thrives on activity or prefers a cozy nap spot, I’ll make sure their day is balanced and low-stress.

A Few Helpful Notes to Make Things Smoother for Everyone: Please let me know if your pet has any medical needs, behavioral concerns, or anything specific I should be aware of. I want to make sure your pet is safe, happy, and comfortable—and that starts with good communication. Booking & Meet and Greets: For boarding, daycare, house sitting, or drop-ins, I kindly ask for as much notice as possible. I highly encourage meet and greets before any new booking—especially for boarding—so your pet can get to know me and feel at ease in a new environment. I’m flexible with scheduling and always happy to meet in advance! Boarding in My Home: Pets are welcome on furniture in my home, so I do ask that they arrive relatively clean. If you're short on time, no problem—I have a walk-in shower and can bathe them for a small one-time fee. Just let me know ahead of time so I can add it to your booking. Behavioral Concerns & Aggression: If your pet has shown any signs of aggression—toward people, other animals, or in specific situations—please be upfront. It doesn’t necessarily mean I won’t be able to care for them, but I may request multiple meet-ups (including one without you present) to ensure we’re a good match and everyone is safe. Some pets behave differently when their owners aren’t around, so extra prep can go a long way. In-Home Visits or House Sitting: If I’ll be entering your home, please let me know if anyone else will be present during the stay—roommates, cleaners, family members, etc. This helps avoid surprises and ensures safety for everyone involved. Keys & Access: If I’m picking up a key for in-home services, please make sure there’s a secure place for me to leave it at the end of the reservation. Otherwise, I may need to hold onto it or arrange a drop-off, which may include a small additional fee. I highly recommend using a lockbox with a code for convenience and security.
