About: Animals have been part of my life from day one. I grew up with two veterinary technicians as parents, so caring for pets wasn't just something we did, it was part of our family. At 15, I got my first job as a kennel technician, where I learned how to safely handle dogs of every size, age, and personality. Over the years, I've had the joy of owning dogs and cats of all kinds, including raising three Great Pyrenees through college and adulthood. Giant breeds taught me patience, consistency, and how to confidently handle even the strongest dogs. Please read the following: I am accessible by phone all the time, and I love taking pictures, so you can expect to get lots of updates of how your dog is doing! Your dog’s stay will not overlap with other dogs so your dog will receive the care and attention he or she deserves! - DAYCARE: The neighborhood is very pet friendly. Doggy bags nearby. - WALKS: Can personally walk your dog up to 2 miles. We stay active! About: From cats and dogs to goats, I have had the pleasure of caring for many animals in my lifetime. I currently have three cats in my home and would love to pet sit more fur friends in my free time. I am kind and patient with all pets and temperaments. Lyle & Karen helped me with feeding my dog Cody who had suddenly developed an aversion to food, also administered medication that is nearly impossible to do by myself. It's especially helpful to have 2 people assisting me instead of just one. They were very patient and caring. I really appreciate them coming to see Cody, and want to apologize about the sloppy "canine cookies" instead of the liquid meal that I originally had planned to feed him. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
