He is much better now, but occasionally one does slip in with loud noises or new situations. This year, we decided to try leaving him with sitters. I share the panic information and give them information on how to handle a situation. With Debra, after the first sitting, he was calm and not in panic when I picked him up. And after the second sitting, he came bouncing up to me quite happy. This is quite an improvement for him. About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate. I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. I am extremely mindful towards any pet staying with me, and provide them with a comfortable, safe and cooled space, in which I am committed to staying aware of their habits, likes and dislikes, and learning to understand their groove. There are several areas for them to use the bathroom outside, take a walk within the apartment community, as well as designated pee pads inside the apartment. About: I've always loved animals always had a connection with animals so it's pretty natural for me. What ever you'd like to know please reach out I pretty much have open availability throughout the day. Drop my children off school @8:30am pick them up @3pm but often than that I'm free all day. About: I strive to provide the best care and experience possible for all of my clients. In order to ensure the safest environment for both families, I only care for one clients pets at a time in my home. Don't worry, they will still have plenty of new friends to play with since I have 3 dogs and a cat. I've been a pet owner my whole life. My husband and I fostered huskies for the past year through the Husky Haven organization until we a foster fail. We now have 3 dogs and a cat (who knows how to keep her distance). All of our animals are up to date on their vaccines and are always excited to make new friends. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible and I love being active! Since I work from home, your pup will be with someone at all times. We have a HUGE backyard with a 6 foot fence, a pool and plenty of lizards, birds, and squirrels to chase. We also have plenty of toys to play with and a large crate and dogs beds perfect for resting.

I understand how hard it can be to leave a member of your family behind while going on a trip or to work so I’m ready to make sure each animal gets plenty of love and affection as well as exercise and play!! i’m currently going to school for zoology so I would love to spend the free time, which is too much free time, i have with animals and taking care of them is just as fun as playing with them! I’m prepared for different dietary restrictions, including making stove top or raw diets, cleaning up after them, bathing them if requested, skincare routines for allergies or sensitive skin and anything else they might need.

About: I've had pets all my life such as dogs, cats, and birds. I help alot with rescues as well. I am experienced with all pet ages, from pups/kitties to seniors. About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate. I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. I am extremely mindful towards any pet staying with me, and provide them with a comfortable, safe and cooled space, in which I am committed to staying aware of their habits, likes and dislikes, and learning to understand their groove. There are several areas for them to use the bathroom outside, take a walk within the apartment community, as well as designated pee pads inside the apartment. I am happy to be in touch with the clients as often as needed, to help them feel at ease about letting their little one stay with someone new. I care about building trust with a dog, and taking the time to grow our bond, so they can be at ease in their surroundings and reduce any anxiety from a new environment.

“Once again, Lexus never disappoints! As soon as I dropped my dog off for his third visit, he made himself right at home. From all the videos and pictures Lexus sends me, I can tell my pup is happy and comfortable during his entire stay. I always get my dog and all his stuff back clean and organized. She is also super attentive to all of his behaviors. My dog had some tummy issues during his stay and Lexus was super accommodating and did not hesitate to provide the extra care that was needed. I cannot recommend Lexus enough, she truly loves all the animals she cares for!”
