About: I grew up caring for multiple large dogs and cats simultaneously. One of the two labs required extra care as he lost a rear limb when he was a puppy. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. For cats I groom and brush daily as well as reinforce positive behavior through praise training.
“Both my pups seemed happy and healthy after pickup! I was a bit worried about how my new rescue would do, but Wendy and Debra were really understanding of her nervousness at times and did a great job as always.”

“Cristal is a really good dog sitter, her home is spacious and she lives right by the downtown area which is very convenient. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a safe place to leave their dog.”

“Richard was great. Quick to respond and was happy with the updates that he sent me. Things couldn't have worked out any better and will definitely look into using Richard again in the future.”
“Jackie is wonderful ! She took care of our babies as her own . She was easy to reach out to and kept us informed constantly on how the puppies were doing. Definitely our go to puppy sitter 🐶”

About: I’m new to Rover, but not new to pets. I’ve spent years dog and cat sitting for family, friends, and people from my church while they travel so I’ve basically already been doing this, just without the app. Boarding is where I’m strongest. Whatever you’re away for a weekend trip, a long workweek, a stretch out of town your pet gets a quiet, pet free home and someone who’s actually paying attention to them, not just checking a box. It’s just me and my roommate here, no kids, no chaos, no other pets running around unless we’re talking about yours LOL. But if boarding isn’t what you need, I also do drop in visits and walks. A midday or evening walk for your dog, or a quick morning/night stop to feed and check on your cat while you’re out. My schedule’s flexible (I work fulltime but it’s not a rigid 9-5), so I can usually make mornings, evenings, weekends, whenever your pet needs me. I’m not the type to drop them off with food and a bowl and disappear for the day. I want to actually know their personality by the time you pick them up. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of pretty much every age and energy level, from the zoomies at 6am crowd to older pets who just want someone patient around and a quiet spot to nap. Routines matter to me too if your pet eats at a certain time, walks a certain route, or has a little quirk, I want to know about it and stick to it. I’ll keep you in the loop while I’m with them. Feeding on schedule, medication if they need it, litter box scooped, fresh water, the whole routine handled the way you’d do it yourself. Photo updates too, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. Can’t wait to meet you both and hear what your pet’s routine looks like. My schedule is flexible, so I’m available mornings, evenings, weekends, and throughout the week as needed. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, preferences, and routine so they can feel as comfortable as possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m stopping by yours, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and any special instructions you provide. I provide a calm, pet free home for boarding and make sure every pet gets plenty of attention and care. I also send photo updates throughout their stay because I’d want the same thing if it were my pet. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands
“Excellent! Very good communication before as well as updates and photos while Rosie was staying. Dropping here off and picking her up was effortless. Rosie had a good time and I would not hesitate to call on Christine in the future.”

“Carla was amazing! Both my pups seemed to adore her ( even my shy girl Fergie). She was super flexible and made sure they were welcome in her home. Highly recommend and will be using her services again for my next trip if available.”

“As a first time Rover user I was a little nervous. But Becky was great! She communicated and sent pictures and certainly put my mind at ease. We will for sure use her again in the future.”

“Ailin and our dogs got along fabulously! She gave them lots of love and attention and gave us frequent updates with pictures and stories about what they have been doing. This was our first time but we’ve already scheduled another stay.”

“My puppy had the best time staying with Nour! From the very beginning she was kind, welcoming, and attentive. She sent me updates and photos throughout the weekend, which gave me so much peace of mind. My pup came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious how much she loves dogs and treats them like her own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“We were traveling from the panhandle to Orlando, unfortunately our hotel was not pet friendly. But guess who is? Ariana! She always kept me updated with pics and vids in the morning afternoon and evening. I knew my dog was in good hands and the fact that Flower had instant playmates upon arrival was a big plus! I highly recommend Ariana!”

“Kelsi was great! We were not really sure about pickup and drop off times but she let us move some times around which made it super easy. Sent us pictures the whole time which was great so the kids knew he was having fun!”

“Sarah is wonderful! She has flexible times throughout the day. Which makes it easy for us to book half days or full days to watch our dog. She helped arrange a friendly introduction with her pack and ours before we started booking appointments. Very knowledgeable and helpful with all types of dog breeds and personalities. Kept us posted with several pictures throughout the day! A very great experience”

“Amber was absolutely incredible with Champ! It’s always nerve-wracking leaving him behind, but Amber sent frequent updates and the cutest photos, which totally put my mind at ease. She followed all his care instructions perfectly, and I could tell Champ was genuinely happy and well-loved while I was away. I highly recommend her!!! ❤️❤️”

“Denys was very attentive to our pup and I received updates every day which was very comforting, especially since this is her first stay and I was out of town with Denys and her family. She seem to get a lot of love and attention, which is very much appreciated!!”

Camryn was wonderful with Bella! She took great care of her, kept me updated, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Bella came home happy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be booking with Camryn again the next time I’m in the area and need a Rover sitter. Highly recommend!

Snickers got to stay with Jen and her family twice in July while we were out of town and we can certainly tell he had a great time and was well cared for. I can’t say enough great things about our experience, the easy communication, the flexibility and overall how wonderful Jen was

Such an amazing woman. She’s honestly so sweet and stays consistent with sending updates and videos. She offers pick up and drop offs which is so convenient. She treats my pups as her own. They definitely are missing her right now 😂 will definitely be booking her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
