“I HIGHLY RECOMMEMD ALEXIS AS A DOG SITTER. I left my 8-month old Willow golden doodle with her for a 10-day home boarding at her home while I went out of the States for Holiday. I HAD ZERO WORRIES, she sent DAILY PICTURES, and UPDATES—Willow Loved Staying and Doodle Puppy So far she has required Velcro attention and Play——Lexus Provided that Care. If u need Care and safety for your animal, Contact Alexis. Julie Miller—-And —-Willow Brie (She also took pictures and gave us a nice Welcome Home Memory Card) :)”

“Jackie is wonderful ! She took care of our babies as her own . She was easy to reach out to and kept us informed constantly on how the puppies were doing. Definitely our go to puppy sitter 🐶”

“I recommend her if you want to.leave your baby/ies in good hands. I can tell that my dod was super happy with her.Natasha was very responsive when I check on my baby Taina while I was traveling. “Briana is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our fur babies! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! She was willing to adjust her routine to accommodate their habits as closely as we had at our home which meant a lot to us. When we came back home after our vacation our pets were very happy.Overall we were happy and would book with her again!”
“Sarah did a great job with John! John was obviously comfortable with her as noticed when we arrived to pick him up! (He ran back to her after greeting us as if to say, “My family is here! Do you see my family?”) He was clearly well cared for. We are planning another trip this month and he’ll be staying with Sarah again!”

“"I recently boarded my dog at Kallee and Daniel twice, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Kallee was very warm and welcoming at our first Meet & Greet and took the time to get to know my dog. During our two boarding occasions, she provided daily updates and shared photos multiple times a day, which eased my mind while I was away. My dog came home happy with no signs of anxiety. I appreciate Kallee to provide loving environment and accommodate our request to pickup and drop off time change at the last minute. I highly recommend Kallee and Daniel to any pet parent☺️”

Santo took good care of our dog while we were away for 18 days. The daily photos and videos gave us affirmation that our dog was doing well. She understood our anxiety about leaving him for that long with a stranger but she assured us that he would be well taken care of. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a caring dog keeper.

Nour provided the exact calm, caring environment our senior dog needed. We are beyond grateful for her patience and attention to detail, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying if Scraggle was okay. If we need to board her again in the future we will be asking Nour first! 💗

Amanda was so welcoming and gentle when first meeting them! She’s a very active sitter and that was perfect for my dogs because they LOVE their walks and they love to play. She communicated multiple times throughout the day with pictures and videos and even let us keep a tennis ball! I would absolutely bring them back to her again. They loved their stay!

I found Paul almost at the last moment…my regular cat sitter wasn’t available but Paul was interested in watching my cat, though he usually watches dogs. It was a short visit but it turned out well for both him and my cat. I would highly recommend Paul for both cats and dogs due to his calm and friendly demeanor.

Karyna and Emre took excellent care of Spooky. We were nervous about leaving Spooky with someone new so we reached out to Karyna and Emre for a meet and great and after talking to them and seeing them interact with our dog we felt comfortable. They asked us a ton of questions to understand our dog and his needs. He stayed with them from Thursday to Sunday and they sent me plenty of pictures and updates daily. They walked, snuggled, set up his enrichment toys and gave him plenty of treats. It was apparent he was very comfortable there with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
