“Fahriye was an excellent dog sitter to our adorable Freddie. She communicated promptly, was very flexible with the timing , sent pictures and updates and gave him a lot of Love. We highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future”

“Julieth and her husband were wonderful hosts for our dog. They took great care of him, provided plenty of updates and photos, and were accommodating with our pick up time. We will definitely board with them again in the future!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our two dogs were so well taken care of and came home happy and relaxed. Loved getting updates and pictures while we were away—it made everything stress-free. Definitely booking again!”

“Odie seems to enjoy going to Linda‘s house every time. He especially liked the special treats and his new green ball. We will definitely continue to send Odie to this sitter.”

“Terrie did a fantastic job with Loki, a 90 lbs German Shepherd with hip problems. Loki is friendly but is cautious of other dogs. We did an initial greeting which Terrie, which she was kind enough to do before his stay. He got along good with the other dogs and by the second day there was friends with a cat! Terrie was a great communicator sending a ton of pictures of Loki while he was there. Terrie's husband also was very friendly and a great help! Bottom line-- If you need a trusting, caring, serious doggy sister who honestly cares about your furry loved one, Terrie is the one to call.”

“Senga's (my dog) stay with Kim was awesome! I was very nervous and had a lot of information that I wanted to share with Kim. Kim was empathetic and reassuring with me, listening to everything I needed to share. Kim loved Senga and took super special care of her, spoiling her with twice daily walks, and a beautiful yard for her to relax in and explore. There were dog beds in every room and Kim texted me pictures and antidotes at least twice a day. Senga throughly enjoyed her stay with Kim and I knew that she was safe and well cared for. Thank you Kim! We look forward to many more vacations with you!”

“Michelle is nothing short of fantastic-- she provided my pup with a happy, fun, and cozy retreat! Her patience is especially noticeable; I needed her on short notice with a young and spunky dog, and she rolled with it all seamlessly. We were lucky to find her on Rover!”

“Sam was absolutely wonderful. We visited before I brought Sol over for boarding. There was a large fenced in back yard for dogs to run and play. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in Sam’s care. I will continue to use Sam to care for my dog when I have to be out of town. Sam also sent NMEA pictures and text updates on Sol’s sleep-over. Sam’s the best!”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs. I have had 5 dogs in my lifetime and take care of them the most out of everyone in my household each time. I trained one of my dogs that I have right now and know how to work with her. I have no job so I have time for this job. I start college soon but only have it in the mornings sometimes and at night sometimes for 1-3 hours I have a huge fenced yard where dogs can have fun and run around. It is super safe And I have two lovely super nice dogs to keep yours company. Ones a mini golden doodle and the other one is a shih-poo.
“Chayla did a great job of taking care of my two cats. One of them needed two medications, and it eased my mind to know that she had the skills and knowledge to handle it so well. Thanks, Chayla!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Mary watching our boys. This was the first time they were boarded. She was reassuring when I was worried about them and I knew immediately they were in great hands. They enjoyed playing with her dog. Would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“Maria was great at keeping me updated with clear communication and photos/videos throughout the stay. As it was my first time booking, she made the experience very reassuring. I’m definitely looking forward to booking with her again.”

“An amazing family to leave my furbabies with! They were attentive and welcoming to my boys, great pics and fun walks with them. Can’t thank them enough for the love and care.”

“Khristina was super patient with our 6 month old puppy and her first boarding experience. She sent us updates on how our puppy was doing and even provided a cute report card at the end. We definitely recommend Khristina!”

“Rita was amazing!! She cared for my very energetic attention needy 8 month old Golden Retriever fur baby from 7/1-7/5. She updated me daily and sent pictures. I definitely plan to contact her again in the future.”

“Dilly loved her week long stay with Gypsy. And I loved the frequent pics and videos Gypsy sent (confirming to me that my dog was safe and happy). Gypsy will be my 1st choice whenever we need to board Dilly again and I recommend her highly.”

“Westley wasn't feeling good on this trip. Vanessa and family shot straight into action and got Wesley to the vet. Thank goodness for her and her family. Thank you so very much. I didn't realize it had been so long and I hadn't said thank you!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Winter Springs
Andrea was a God send! My husband and I did and 8 day roadtrip through yellowstone and Grand Teton. She and her husband kept our maltipoo Joon. Joon made friends with their 2 dogs and had the best time playing the entire time. Andrea sent updates and pictures everyday and I felt so relieved to know she was in such good hands. We will be using her in the future. Highly recommend!

This family is truly stellar! They are incredibly flexible, accommodating, and lead with genuine care. My pups are treated so much like their own that they’re actually reluctant to come home after a long stay! If you’re looking for a welcoming environment where your four-legged kiddos will be truly loved, you’ve found the right place. My pups are always excited to jump out of the truck and run inside to find their friends and 'second family.' Highly recommended for anyone who wants total peace of mind!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
