“I always feel Sergio is safe and sound and well taken care of when I leave him with Bruce. Also, Bruce is excellent with communication and sending photo updates of Sergio.”

“Hala provided excellent communication throughout our dog’s 10 day stay with her. We were nervous leaving our dog for so long, but Hala and her family provided multiple daily text updates and pictures on how she was doing. Our pup came back bathed and in great spirits. We would absolutely use Hala again and recommend her for any pet sitting needs!”

“Bruno had a wonderful time with Fahriye. He was exceptionally well cared for and came home happy and tired :) They provided regular updates and photos of him playing with the other pups. They went above & beyond to give him a bath when he decided to take a mud bath outside and even sent us home with a personalized poop bag holder. We are also Rover’s, and this was really a next level experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends & family.”

“Jomarie is so sweet and takes good care of our two pups. She sent us photos and videos and you can tell our dogs were happy and comfortable Our flight got delayed coming home and she was so gracious and was able to watch them a couple extra hours until we got there.”
“Jennifer has been a great asset to my family and I. My schnoodle Midnight is so comfortable with Jennifer and the family. Jennifer communicates well and is a great support.”

“Gus loved staying with Kim while we were away! She gave him lots of attention and love. He enjoyed many walks and playtime in her yard. She sent us daily updates and photos of Gus to let us know how he was doing. We won’t hesitate to use Kim again when we need a sitter for Gus!”

About: From a young age, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three dogs, two cats, and various other animals, I developed a genuine love for caring for animals and understanding their individual personalities. I started pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 10 and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. As a teenager, I volunteered at a veterinary office and later became a foster for animals in need. These experiences gave me an early foundation in responsible, compassionate animal care. As an adult, I’ve continued to build on that experience through several animal-care positions. Most recently, I worked full-time with an animal shelter, where I helped intake animals, provide their daily care, assess their needs and behavior, and assist them on their journey toward finding forever homes. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced and loving hands. My schedule is very flexible, as pet care is my primary focus. I’m available Monday through Saturday (unless boarding, in which I am available all week) with flexible availability throughout the day, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I have a friendly, dog-loving dog of my own who enjoys having other dogs around. I always take introductions at the dogs’ pace, though, and I pay close attention to their personalities and body language to make sure everyone is comfortable. My home also has a screened-in pool, so I’m especially mindful of water safety. Pets are never given unsupervised access to the pool, and I’m happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet and the pool area.

“Richard was great. Quick to respond and was happy with the updates that he sent me. Things couldn't have worked out any better and will definitely look into using Richard again in the future.”
“Chayla was outstanding taking care of Max.. off for a 10 day vacation, Chayla gave Max a comfortable stay with plenty of attention & proactive updates w/ pictures… Thank you Chayla for making things easy!”

“This was our dog’s fourth stay at Marie’s and all went wonderful. Our dog enjoys walking with Marie and Napo, running in her fenced backyard and playing with plenty of tennis balls. Our dog has sensitive eyes and we really appreciated Marie applying his eyedrops daily. We picked him up happy and healthy. Thank you Marie!”

“Michelle was amazing with my two dogs! She took them to the dog park everyday, sent lots of pictures and videos and even took some adorable Easter pictures of them!! She was so great when my times changed and my dogs loved their stay with her!!”

“Maria was absolutely amazing with my dog, Chance! From the start, her communication was excellent—she kept me updated with plenty of pictures and videos, which really put me at ease while I was away. Chance went on tons of walks, got to visit the dog park, and even got spoiled with homemade bone broth pup cups! She also sent him home with treats and toys, which was such a sweet touch. It’s clear she genuinely cares for the dogs she watches. Maria was flexible, reliable, and made the whole experience stress-free. I highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Brooke is WONDERFUL! I cannot recommend her enough. She’s super patient, kind, and took photos of my cats everyday and treated them with care. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“So thankful for Christina and Oskar! They took great care of my baby Charley, gave us updates and sent pictures of how he was doing. They are very organized and detailed, making sure Charley had everything he needed and worked with him during his pickiness in eating.”

Andrea was so amazing. Not only did she make me feel at home when I brought my pupper over, she also fully described to me what the visit would be like and where Maizie would be. She sent me photos every day and her pups were so friendly with my girl. As an anxiously attached pet parent, Andrea made it so I could relax on my trip and knew Maizie would be okay. Thank you so much, 10/10 will be booking again

Carmin was wonderful! We needed a pet sitter for a 10 day trip and we were so grateful to find her! We had a meet and greet and she listened carefully as we discussed our pet's needs. We felt good about leaving him with her. She took great care of him while we were gone and communicated often with us letting us know how he was adjusting and sending pictures. It was an excellent experience and we will book Carmin again when we have another trip.

Sarah was extremely attentive and excellent with my dogs. She communicated thoroughly and impressively quickly, helping me navigate the process for the first time, and my dogs were clearly chuffed under her tutelage. Will absolutely be reaching back out to Sarah for any future needs. Highly recommended.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
