“Jennifer and her spouse, Boris, did a fantastic job taking care of my pet. Great communication and plenty of photos. Would definitely book again with her in the future.”

“An amazing family to leave my furbabies with! They were attentive and welcoming to my boys, great pics and fun walks with them. Can’t thank them enough for the love and care.”

“Alexandra was great with my Milo. From the moment Milo met her he was excited!! She updated me with pictures while I was away!! Definitely would recommend Alexandra to watch your fur baby!! She was awesome with mine!!”

“Alexander did a great job with our pup! Was responsive and sent updates while we were out of town. He was our first boarding experience so we were nervous, but everything went well. Thanks again!”

“This was the first time I ever left my two pups with someone other than a close friend or family member. Debra made me feel very comfortable from the very beginning. She agreed to meet with me before hand so I could feel comfortable with where my pups would be staying. And she kept me updated throughout their entire stay, sending pictures every day and letting me know how they were doing. I will definitely be using Debra again to care for my two babies!”

“Lilliana took great care of the girls ?. She stayed in touch with us the whole time, to let us know that they are and they were having fun. She sent lots of pictures. Thank you Lilliana!!!”

“Terrie and her husband were absolutely wonderful with our dog Tonks. We were out of town for 9 days and everyday terrie would send us updates and pictures of our dog. They treat every pet as their own and are incredibly thoughtful and caring with them. This was our first time with terrie but it definitely won’t be the last time we use her. 100% recommend!”
“This is the third time I’ve booked her, and once again she’s been awesome! She’s reliable, caring, and always goes above and beyond to make sure my cat is happy and well taken care of. I really appreciate the updates and the peace of mind she gives me. Highly recommended!”

“Maria recently took wonderful care of my Chihuahua, Zeek, for 5 days. She provided lots of walks and attention, and he loved his time with her. I would recommend her services, and I would use her again.”

“We really appreciate Adriana for taking such good care of our Luna. She was very attentive to detail and made sure to communicate with plenty of photos and updates throughout the stay. Adriana and her whole family showed Luna so much love, and we would love to book with her again in the future!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our two dogs were so well taken care of and came home happy and relaxed. Loved getting updates and pictures while we were away—it made everything stress-free. Definitely booking again!”

“Senga's (my dog) stay with Kim was awesome! I was very nervous and had a lot of information that I wanted to share with Kim. Kim was empathetic and reassuring with me, listening to everything I needed to share. Kim loved Senga and took super special care of her, spoiling her with twice daily walks, and a beautiful yard for her to relax in and explore. There were dog beds in every room and Kim texted me pictures and antidotes at least twice a day. Senga throughly enjoyed her stay with Kim and I knew that she was safe and well cared for. Thank you Kim! We look forward to many more vacations with you!”

“Douglania took care of my Senior English bulldog very well. She accomodated my request even though i gave her such a short notice. She made sure that he is fed, groomed (extrabut well worth it) and took him for his walks. I will definately have her again to take care of my bulldog in the future. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”

“First stay for my 2 pitbull mixes to stay with Linda for 5 nights and they seemed very happy. I had accidentally messed up the dates but Linda was able to accommodate me on short notice. She was quick to respond whenever I asked for updates and overall made me feel very comfortable leaving my two dogs with her. Will definitely book again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Heathrow
Luke was great with my dog Oscar and I received nice photos and a video of Oscar during this overnight stay. I knew Oscar was in good hands with Luke watching him. If I’m in the north Orlando area again for work I would definitely have Luke watch Oscar again if he’s available. Thank you Luke!

Karen took exceptional care of our goldendoodle, Teddi. She sent frequent updates and photos and took her on a lot of walks. She went over and above to make sure Teddi felt comfortable and cared for. I would definitely recommend Karen for anyone needing a sitter for their fur baby!

This a great sitter for my 2 boys, Carina is a caring, loving sitter and treats your pets as if they are her pets. The boys have a great time over Carina's house, with 3, 4 legged playmates and one that looks like them, but in mini form for now, also a little human that interacts with the boys as they are her puppies, all had a great time! Carina sends pictures of your pet while your away, just looking in their little faces, they are happy and comfortable staying over. I have already booked their next stay there, very pleased with her service.

Susann and her family took Björn in for a long weekend and truly treated him like one of their own. He got tons of walks, playing at the dog park and at their home. I explained Björn had separation anxiety, and they made sure he was never alone. I’m so glad i found you, and that you were available with such short notice. You made my trip so much less stressful. Love that you have everything in your home to welcome our furry children. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
