“We were gone for a week in April, 2024. Our two dogs stayed with Cristy and had a great time. Both of them are special cases. Lola is an 18 year old dachshund who is deaf and partially blind. Pepper is an eight year old Dalmatian/American bulldog mix who was a street dog rescue. Her background is unknown, but there are several clues that she had been abused. Both dogs needed special attention, and they got it with Cristy. We would not hesitate at all to trust Cristy to watch our dogs again any time.”

“Susann and her family took wonderful care of Gracie. She sent pictures of their adventures - including a 3 mile hike on a trail. Gracie slept quite a bit on the day I picked her up, so I know she had lots of fun and attention while at Susann's house.”

“We had a great experience with Sasha and her family! She is kind and caring! Communication was easy and smooth. We enjoy the regular photo updated a lot. Our dog had a great time. Would happily book again.”

“MJ was amazing watching my pup, the photos proved she felt comfortable in her home, even playing with her doggies! Will definitely be contacting her for future sitting, and so should you!”

“Luke took care of our two little doggos and also my in-law’s dog. Though there was some complexity with drop off due to the home being in a gated community, Luke kept in touch and was quite flexible about adapting to changes in our schedule. We were traveling for a funeral and his kindness and accommodations were very much appreciated. The doggos came home happy and clearly well cared for.”

“Sam was a new sitter for us, as our regular sitter wasn’t available, but from the moment I booked with her, I knew June would be in great hands. June felt right at home the second I dropped her off, and I received multiple pictures each day showing all the fun she was having. It gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Sam took wonderful care of June, and I highly recommend her as a sitter.”

“Andrea was a God send! My husband and I did and 8 day roadtrip through yellowstone and Grand Teton. She and her husband kept our maltipoo Joon. Joon made friends with their 2 dogs and had the best time playing the entire time. Andrea sent updates and pictures everyday and I felt so relieved to know she was in such good hands. We will be using her in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Caroline and her family were very kind and patient with our husky, with it being her first time staying with someone else. She kept us updated on how our pup was doing with plenty of pictures. Definitely couldn’t recommend her more!!”
“So thankful for Christina and Oskar! They took great care of my baby Charley, gave us updates and sent pictures of how he was doing. They are very organized and detailed, making sure Charley had everything he needed and worked with him during his pickiness in eating.”

“Karen watched my two miniature dachshunds for 5 days while we were away and made them feel comfortable and right at home! It was our first time using boarding services through Rover and were very happy with the experience and it really put my mind at ease knowing they were being well cared for and not locked in a cage all day. Thank you again Karen for taking care of our girls and keeping them happy and safe:)”

“Carina took great care of Binkie over the long weekend. She sent regular updates so I didn't have to worry about how he was doing and could just enjoy my vacation. Wouldn't hesitate to leave him with her and his new dog friends anytime :)”

“First time ever leaving my girl with someone other than family and could not have been more satisfied with the care Millie provided. To say Frankie was spoiled is an understatement! Most definitely will use Millie again!!”

“Fantastic pet sitter! Dependable, caring, and attentive to every detail. Our pups were happy and well-loved while we were away, and the updates were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“Another great day with Sarah!!!! Dexter seems to enjoy his stays! All positive!!! He is an older (13) mid size 65 lb dog and Sarah is attentive when watching him.”

“Carmin did a wonderful job with our 11 year old dog, Poppy, over the Thanksgiving holiday. I really appreciated the extra time and care she took with our anxious doggy . She sent photos and updates to us that were very much appreciated. Thank you, Carmin, for your top notch care!”

“Denys was very attentive to our pup and I received updates every day which was very comforting, especially since this is her first stay and I was out of town with Denys and her family. She seem to get a lot of love and attention, which is very much appreciated!!”
“This was my first time using Rover and a pet sitter. Brian was amazing. He sent me updates and pictures several times a day, and my pups looked very happy. The best part of Brian’s service is that he works from home so my pups were with him all day. It made me feel good knowing that my pups weren’t in a kennel all day like they would be in at the pet resort I used in the past. I highly recommend Brian. He’s the best!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Heathrow
Cristy was an awesome sitter, from the meet & greet I could see that she was excellent at judging each dog’s temperament and that I could trust her to make the right pairings. My senior dog was very comfortable during his stay and Cristy made sure to follow all the directions I had which I appreciated as I am very particular with my pup’s care. I also got updates throughout the week. I was very happy to receive my baby back very well groomed and all his stuff back cleaned and in great condition. Overall, I am satisfied with the stay and would totally bring my dog back!

Karen took exceptional care of our goldendoodle, Teddi. She sent frequent updates and photos and took her on a lot of walks. She went over and above to make sure Teddi felt comfortable and cared for. I would definitely recommend Karen for anyone needing a sitter for their fur baby!

This a great sitter for my 2 boys, Carina is a caring, loving sitter and treats your pets as if they are her pets. The boys have a great time over Carina's house, with 3, 4 legged playmates and one that looks like them, but in mini form for now, also a little human that interacts with the boys as they are her puppies, all had a great time! Carina sends pictures of your pet while your away, just looking in their little faces, they are happy and comfortable staying over. I have already booked their next stay there, very pleased with her service.

Susann and her family took Björn in for a long weekend and truly treated him like one of their own. He got tons of walks, playing at the dog park and at their home. I explained Björn had separation anxiety, and they made sure he was never alone. I’m so glad i found you, and that you were available with such short notice. You made my trip so much less stressful. Love that you have everything in your home to welcome our furry children. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
