When your pet stays with us, they are our focus! As a stay at home mom who homeschools, I am lucky to be home 85% of the time with my daughter, our pets and our guests. My husband also has a flexible schedule and works from home part time and loves to spend time out back playing with the dogs. My parents also have very flexible schedules and are often home when we are out. I would say that someone is home 90% of the time with the dogs.

Our home is very pet friendly and a doggy dream come true. Our couches are covered for protection and we allow pets on the furniture (if ok'd by you!) and we have lots of comfy dog beds and blankets to share. Retractable fences have been installed so that we can keeps pets safe by keeping them out of the kitchen during cooking and meal times and away from the front door so we don't have any escapees. The back yard is fully fenced with lots of room to run, explore and play and we allow pups to swim in our fenced in pool during the hot summer months or play in a doggy splash pad. We make sure to ALWAYS feed all animals separately in closed off areas to avoid any altercations and we give lots of hugs. I do discourage bringing toys as it often causes fights. We have balls to share!

Information Carina W. would like to know about your pet
We love all dog breeds and don't discriminate. However, we are unable to accept puppies who are not fully potty trained, dogs who are not fixed, aggressive dogs, and dogs who cry or bark when they are left or crated. I have experience working with high anxiety, older and shy pets and have special places where pups can take a break or be away from the crowd if they need it. Please let us know if your pup experiences anxiety or goes on food strikes. We are very familiar with these type of behaviors and know how to give extra TLC to get them through it. Many pets experience food allergies and we will NOT give table scraps to your dog. We will also not give our treats to your dog UNLESS you let us know that it is 100% OK. We often give milk bones, sometimes bully sticks. Jazz and Ozzie are full of energy and will want to play until they drop, however, we have had many pups come stay with us who prefer snuggles over play and we work hard to make sure your pet feels safe and protected. We do take in 3, sometimes 4 pets at a time, so your pet should get along with other dogs, or at least tolerate them. Additionally, I have prior experience giving oral meds and am willing to do so if your pet is in need of that.
A typical day
Feeding time We will follow your pets feeding schedule and will feed them in a secure location where they can eat alone and in peace. We typically feed breakfast and dinner and love to give treats throughout the day for good behavior and just because. We have multiple water bowls always filled with fresh water daily and extra bowls for food. Plan to bring your pet's food, treats, and feeding instructions and we will do the rest. Playtime! Our yard is a dream when it comes to play and we love to spend time outside. We have tons of toys and balls and even an agility training course that we set up. We spend a lot of time outside playing with the pups and in the summer time, we let those who want to, take a dip in our pool. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Floor, bed or couch, where ever they prefer. We do have our pet guests sleep in our room with us where we have dog beds and blankets to share. You are more than welcome to bring your pups own comfy bed and blankets, of course! If you prefer your pet to not get on the furniture just let us know and we will keep to those rules. Also, we only kennel if you kennel! We have the space so if you want to bring it feel free. Time I'll spend with your dog I'm home with your pet about 85% of the time. We will spend a lot of time out back playing fetch and running around. When not playing we like to cuddle.

Your pet is family when they stay with us, their Home Away From Home! My family and I are located in the Mandarin neighborhood in Longwood and our multi-generational home is the perfect spot for your pet to stay while you are away! You can be sure that they will receive excellent care, attention and love! I have over 20 years of pet sitting and pet care experience and feel a special connection with dogs. I grew up in a household of multiple pets where dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, mice and hamsters were all part of our family. I worked in the veterinary field for 6 years (2 of those in emergency care) and I am well educated in pet care and animal behavior. My husband and daughter also enjoy caring for out pet guests and will help give them extra love and play time. About this sitter: I am Carina, and my husband and I relocated from Seattle, Washington in 2018, where we ran a very successful pet sitting business. As a stay at home mom who homeschools, my daughter, husband and I care for and love on all the pups who come to stay, as if they were our own. We share our house with my parents, who are also animal lovers and help out with care and give love, pets and treats freely. It's like having doggy grandparents who love to spoil! Why I love dog sitting I have a deep LOVE for dogs and I love that pet sitting allows me to "try out" different breeds and get to know the different personalities that each dog has. I am sure this comes from my mom, who used to rescue animals from the shelter and at one time we owned 12 dogs and 14 cats. We lived in a farmhouse with land...so there was plenty of room. Our daughter has been helping pet sit since she was 2 (she started as a doggy snuggler) and has a deep love for dogs. She is a great assistant and takes pride in helping us care for and love on all the pups that come to stay. Meet my pets Our family shares the house with Jazz, Ozzie, Liberty, and a couple of cats who tolerate the pups. Our dogs LOVE other dogs (and people) and are happy to have friends come stay and play. Jazz is a boarder collie who is very energetic and friendly and loves other dogs. He has so much energy, that he can sometimes be overwhelming at first. However, he is well trained, loves to please and will do anything for a treat. He LOVES to run in the yard with new friends and is very fast. Ozzie is an English golden retriever who cannot resist a snuggle. He is very friendly with other dogs and people and while he likes to run and play, he isn't a fan of the heat. You will find him inside the a/c snoozing on the tile or trying to be a lap dog! He loves to snuggle with his new puppy, Liberty. Liberty joined our family this past November, 2025. She is a mini-dachshund and LOVES to play with other pups. She has two, very large, big brothers and so naturally, she thinks she is a big dog and runs around playing with the rest of the pack. Bella & Sox are our cats who get along with dogs, but they go ninja when we have doggy visitors. About my yard Dogs love our large fenced back yard as it is the perfect place to run, play and explore. We have a dog door that leads from our family room to the enclosed patio and fenced in pool, and another door that leads out into the yard. We try to teach every pup how to use the dog doors, however, since we are home 85% of the time, someone is usually around to let the dogs out at lease every 2 hours or less.

This a great sitter for my 2 boys, Carina is a caring, loving sitter and treats your pets as if they are her pets. The boys have a great time over Carina's house, with 3, 4 legged playmates and one that looks like them, but in mini form for now, also a little human that interacts with the boys as they are her puppies, all had a great time! Carina sends pictures of your pet while your away, just looking in their little faces, they are happy and comfortable staying over. I have already booked their next stay there, very pleased with her service.
Carina and her family took great care of Pippin while I was boarding her for vacation. The whole process was smooth and she was very communicative. Pippin had the absolute best time ever. There is a huge backyard that Pippin can run around and explore in. There were also all kinds of different dog breeds that Pippin can socialize with. Thank you so much for taking care of Pippin and will definitely have her stay again in the future.
Carina was excellent. She was very kind to our dog and treated her so well. I completely trusted that my dog was safe and would have fun with her other very friendly dogs. Our dog was very excited to play right away! We will definitely be back!!!!
Carina was wonderful to deal with. She was responsive and seemed to really care about our dog. Her setup is great in the backyard with her dog run and pool to play. We will definitely use her again.
