Safety, trust & environment

Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

Information Sarah S. would like to know about your pet

Be sure to inform me if there are any special needs, diet restrictions, behavioral issues, illnesses, etc. for your fur baby. Also, any training/tricks that I can continue teaching them. I have yet to experience administrating injected medication but I'd be happy to learn and do so. Just let me know.

A typical day

They will love their daily walks around the apartment community ponds where they can play in the large spaces of grass and watch the ducks and turtles. There is also a fenced in dog park within a six minute walk if we have extra time. When we are not playing outside they will be enjoying time in my cozy apartment which has a roomy screened-in patio. They will love all the new smells, sights, and sounds that their visit will be like a doggy vacation while away from home.

Sarah is fantastic! Mimi and Little were very happy to go on walks with her. They got in better and loved their new walking routine. Sarah was very helpful and patient with them. They barked a lot. Sarah is reliable caring, and always sends cute photos. Highly recommend

Sarah was so great with our big 90lb fur baby! Our dog can be intimidating to some and he is particular about who he likes. Sarah was a perfect fit! It was such a peace of mind to get photo and video updates while we were away for the day. Sarah went above and beyond in her care - even brushing his fur! Highly recommend!
