“Brianna was a ray of sunshine for our 3 doggies she watched for the weekend. She was prompt with her responses, punctual, and followed instructions very well. ♥️ Our doggies loved her, took lots of pics, and we would definitely use her again!!!”

“Jackalyn was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of my girls and truly treated them like they were her own. She kept me updated the entire time, was super communicative, accommodating, and very detailed about how they were doing. She also sent me the cutest pictures, which I loved and really helped me feel at ease while I was at work. My girls looked so happy and comfortable with her, and I could tell they absolutely loved spending time with her. It’s always nerve-racking leaving your pets with someone, but Jackalyn made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future. She’s truly the best!”

“Zachary was quick to respond to our request and set up a meet and greet, even at a last minute notice. We appreciate that he was able to accommodate us. He is very detailed oriented, which I appreciate and our dogs obviously loved him. He kept us informed at all times and sent us lots of photos and videos. Thanks Zachary.”

“Ava was amazing, a life saver. We booked last minute and she was super accommodating, flexible, and kind with our animals. We have a dog and 3 cats. Will book again!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have nearly 5 years of hands on experience working with pets. I’ve cared for a range of dogs (and cats) through pet sitting, and I’m also a professional dog groomer. At home, I have 4 cats of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I’m dedicated to providing patient, reliable, and loving care to every animal as if they were my own. I'm currently working part time Dog grooming, so I have plenty of time to care for and give extra love to your fur babies! I'm available Tuesday afternoons and evenings, Wednesday afternoons, and fully open on weekends! I focus on keeping routines consistent and stress free while caring for pets in my clients homes. I make sure to give them plenty of exercise, attention, love and care tailored to each individual pet's needs.
“Shirley is the best!! She always goes above and beyond for my senior dog making sure he is okay when I have to go out of town. She is so great with Hank - attentive, caring, loving. Everything you hope for when trusting someone to care for your pet when you have to leave town!!”

“Kathleen was the most amazing caretaker for our sweet senior cat. She administered medication twice a day while we were out of town. She was a superb communicator at when our visits would start and finish. I completely trusted her from the moment I met her and her husband before we left. She cleaned up all the cat dishes, litter that might of gotten out of the box and even swept my bathroom where the litter box was. I got multiple pictures a day and a sweet report card. I would hire her again and again to take care of my sweet 18 year old kitty.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and I’m so Happy with your services so far. Caitlyn has been amazing and we appreciate her taking care of our girl Ziggy. Thanks again this experience was the best.”

“Another great weekend away while Debbie watched my fur babies. She spends so much time with them and I can tell they love her from all the photos. Thank you for always being awesome!”

About: I’ve had fur babies for as long as I’ve been alive ranging from tiny chihuahuas to large pitties. I love all animals, but have the most experience with dogs. I’m a sucker for a good cuddle or kisses, as I’m sure you can tell from my pictures! I’m available for drop in visits and dog walking visits and would love to have some fun with your pet :) I’m currently working full time Monday-Thursday, but am available on those nights if needed for drop-in visits and at anytime on Fridays and the weekend. I’ll treat your fur baby as if it were my own and provide the love and care they deserve and more! If your pet is anything like mine, they aren’t always comfortable with strangers so I understand the importance of working at their pace and making sure we build trust.
“I had a great experience and will definitely rebook in the future! I hate leaving my babies when I travel but it gave me peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. She even brought my package in that was delivered while I was away which is very much appreciated. Thank you so much!☺️☺️”

“Brent was great! He did a drop-in visit for my two dachshunds and took plenty of pictures, which made me feel very comfortable leaving them at home. He was reliable, communicative, and caring with my pups. I’ll definitely book him again!”

“She’s an amazing pet sitter and I would definitely use her again! She went above and beyond and learned how to administer my cat’s inhaler so he wouldn’t miss a dose for his asthma while I was gone! My three kitties were so timid, but she still made sure they were comfortable and brought their meals to where they were hiding so they would still eat. Loved all the photos of my babies too so I could see how they were doing!”

About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I enjoy being around animals and love to take care of them. I own two female German shorthaired pointers who have TONS of energy! And that’s what I love most about them. I know how important it is to meet all animals exactly where they’re at temperament wise. I truly enjoy being around animals…more than humans sometimes! I look forward to getting to walk or play with your fur babies! I work a hybrid job, so I am remote 2-3 times a week where I am fully home all day with my pups. On the days I go into the office, my partner comes home during lunch to let our dogs out. On weekends, I am home full time as well. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for activities! My own pups love to run around and play fetch back there. Dogs are allowed in furniture and to sleep in the bed in my house.

Brooklynn was amazing! She did drop-ins for us for several days and was very communicative, respectful, and punctual- Most importantly our dogs loved her! The rover cards were thoughtfully filled out and we knew our pups were going to be well taken care of. This was our first time using rover and she made the experience great!

Mary Amelia was a fantastic sitter for my two cats! They took to her right away, and I could tell even from the pictures that they were fans of her. She didn’t need to, but she washed the food bowls before she left the last time. Thank you! I 100% recommend her, and I hope I’ll get to request her again soon! Thanks so much!

Brent was amazing with my dogs! He visited twice to let them out and feed them, and he sent plenty of pictures during each visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. I was very happy knowing both dogs were safe, comfortable, and well cared for at home. I would definitely book him again!

Maiya did a great job caring for my pup- she has separation anxiety and need a friend for a few hours while I was gone for an extended time. My pup loved having her come to play😊! Maiya is dependable and communicates well but more importantly follows instructions (dog mom is a little picky lol) & provides loving care! Highly recommended!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Heathrow. On Rover:

- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
