“Phoebe was phenomenal! She stayed at our home with our cat and dog while we traveled. Both are animals are older and have several medications, and one has weekly treatments with our veterinarian. Phoebe provided all of their medications and appointments easily. She went above and beyond taking precautions to help protect the pipes from freezing at the house since there was a hard freeze for several days while we were away. Phoebe sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated on how our babies were doing while we were away. We returned to a clean home and happy babies. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have never lived in a home without pets. I’ve had four dogs over the years and have cared for many different types of animals since I was a kid. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, not just something I do occasionally. Throughout my life, I’ve also continually volunteered at animal shelters and farms, which has given me hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Currently, I care for a Great Pyrenees and seven cats, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, multi-pet households, and managing different routines and personalities. My weekly schedule is finalized the day prior and can vary slightly, but my daily commitments are usually limited to a short portion of the day. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment and follow all care instructions closely. I respect pets’ routines, keep spaces clean and secure, and take a gentle, patient approach—especially with cats or shy pets. “Shirley is the best. Not only is she an amazing person overall, but she’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever had for my 4 kitty cats. I was shocked that my one cat, who is usually terrified of new people, let her pet him on the second day! She really has a way with animals. You can tell she loves and cares for them deeply. While I was gone I got daily updates and pictures most days. Shirley really went above and beyond to care for my cats. She went over twice a day and hung out with them, let them out on the patio (which is their favorite thing ever). She even helped take out our trash and brought our mail in, which she didn’t have to do. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!”
