“Valery is an extraordinary pet sitter. I’ve used Rover since 2021 and recently moved to Orlando, so I was looking for someone new I could trust for home sitting. From the moment we met, I knew she was the one. She took wonderful care of my 13-year-old senior Shih Tzu, who has cataracts, dry eye (needs drops twice a day), and a special diet that requires some prep. Valery cared for him as if he were her own. She was patient when applying his eye drops, took care of his meals, and gave him the attention and affection a senior dog needs. While I was away for 10 days, she sent me daily photos and videos just as I asked, which helped ease my anxiety. She even handled an allergy that flared up right before my trip, getting a product (after checking with me first) that worked better than the vet meds I had tried. Guapo was happy, relaxed, and barking for treats like he does when I’m home. Valery truly understands the stress of leaving our fur babies behind, and knowing she’s capable of managing any emergency or unexpected situation gave me real peace of mind. About: Hi i’m Alex! I’ve always had a love for animals for as long as I can remember, I currently have a 10 month old cat named Mileena and an 8 year old chihuahua named Jasper! I’m a huge pet lover and I can’t wait to help take care yours! I’ve pet sit many times over the last few years and i’ve worked with small and large animals, as well as senior animals and animals with chronic illnesses! I’ve also house sat many time so i’m comfortable staying overnight if needed and I had big dogs growing up so larger dogs are no problem for me! About: I’ve taken care of a lovely family cat for 18 years. I have also owned birds, hamsters, and rabbits throughout my life. I have experience with horse care and training, as well as dog and cat sitting. Additionally, I volunteered at the Sanford Pet Alliance shelter for a year, an organization dedicated to caring for cats and dogs. I am an enrolled zoology student who is studying for a Master’s degree. I am free all throughout the week, part-time. Monday through Sunday booking is available! I can pet sit during the weekday from as early as 6 am to 10 pm; this includes feeding, bathing, walking, and doing fun activities too! I have been pet-sitting and caring for animals for a little over 10 years, and I have worked with both cats and dogs in a professional setting, so I am no stranger to pet care! For cats, I have a cat at home, so I am very accustomed to cat behavior! I can watch, feed, and keep them engaged until needed! For dogs, playing and walking are very important, so I will always make sure to do these things. I can feed them and watch over them until needed! If medication needs to be given, I have experience with that as well. Birds and bunnies are always welcome as well! :))
