“I met Becca last week before this visit and had a great first visit going over the details of care for my Geriatric Cat. Becca communicated with me every step of the way and took pictures throughout her visit. I know Sneakers enjoyed the attention. When I got home, he was sleeping in his box and everything looked great! Thank you so much for loving on Sneakers.”

“Peter was so great with our kitties! He followed our instructions perfectly and helped maintain their routines to avoid stress. They looked happy and healthy when we returned. And the house was clean too! Not even a speck of litter outside the boxes. Thank you for your attentiveness and care, Peter!”

“Isabella was/is great, she had 3 boys to look after and she always sent pics and a paragraph of their activities. We also have a pet with medication and she administered that with no problem, even sent a picture of that too! 6 stars, will try to get her again!”

About: From a young age, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three dogs, two cats, and various other animals, I developed a genuine love for caring for animals and understanding their individual personalities. I started pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 10 and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. As a teenager, I volunteered at a veterinary office and later became a foster for animals in need. These experiences gave me an early foundation in responsible, compassionate animal care. As an adult, I’ve continued to build on that experience through several animal-care positions. Most recently, I worked full-time with an animal shelter, where I helped intake animals, provide their daily care, assess their needs and behavior, and assist them on their journey toward finding forever homes. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced and loving hands. My schedule is very flexible, as pet care is my primary focus. I’m available Monday through Saturday (unless boarding, in which I am available all week) with flexible availability throughout the day, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I have a friendly, dog-loving dog of my own who enjoys having other dogs around. I always take introductions at the dogs’ pace, though, and I pay close attention to their personalities and body language to make sure everyone is comfortable. My home also has a screened-in pool, so I’m especially mindful of water safety. Pets are never given unsupervised access to the pool, and I’m happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet and the pool area.

“Kellye was amazing with our fur baby and treated her with so much love and care, I couldn’t recommend her more! Very responsive and reassured us every step of the way. Clover instantly clicked with her energy and they became friends so fast. This says so much about the love she has for animals!”

“Lori was incredible and I will absolutely be asking her to watch my cat Teddy again when I need a cat sitter. She very clearly loves cats and takes incredible care! Teddy doesn’t do very well when we go out of town, but when we returned, he was very happy and content showing me that Lori went above and beyond with his care. She provided great updates and made me feel at ease about being gone. I'm very thankful to have found her and cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I’m a dependable, caring animal lover who knows that your pets are family. I’ve spent my life caring for animals and know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog or cat. I don’t think of myself as purely a cat person or a dog person; I love them both! I’m semi-retired and have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Whether your fur kid loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m patient with pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior kitties who need a little extra care. I’ve taken care of my pets when they’re ill, from giving pills to giving subcutaneous fluids. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep routines consistent, and will send regular photo and text updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is getting the best care. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I’m semi-retired and have a ton of free time, which I will happily spend taking care of your beloved cats and/or dogs, attending to all their needs, even if it’s just lots of cuddles. I’m a loving cat (and dog) mom. I love nothing more than petting my cat while relaxing and getting him to purr. I make sure he has a healthy diet and doesn’t overeat, although he gets treats occasionally.
About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I enjoy being around animals and love to take care of them. I own two female German shorthaired pointers who have TONS of energy! And that’s what I love most about them. I know how important it is to meet all animals exactly where they’re at temperament wise. I truly enjoy being around animals…more than humans sometimes! I look forward to getting to walk or play with your fur babies! I work a hybrid job, so I am remote 2-3 times a week where I am fully home all day with my pups. On the days I go into the office, my partner comes home during lunch to let our dogs out. On weekends, I am home full time as well. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for activities! My own pups love to run around and play fetch back there. Dogs are allowed in furniture and to sleep in the bed in my house.
“Daniela was very attentive and responsive to everything. It was my first time leaving my puppy home without me and she eased all my anxiety. She even taught her how to do “paw.” I am very happy and grateful for her care and how responsible she was with everything”

“So this was my first time trying this after being very reluctant. And i tell you what i couldn't of got a better experience. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Winter Springs
Lori and her daughter took care of our 15 year old cat and we were extremely impressed. They spent quality time giving Lola attention and went above and beyond. They communicated quickly and really put us at ease leaving our girl. We are really lucky that we found Lori!

I highly recommend Rebecca. She has visited my cat Sneakers several times. This past week she visited 2x per day, once in the morning and then again in the evening for 4 days to feed, scoop the litter box and give Sneakers love and pets. She took the bags of litter out to the big trash when she left. Each day I received a message or picture of Sneakers letting me know he was okay and if he ate or peed or pooped. Rebecca followed all the feeding schedules. Thanks again Becca for taking such good care of Sneakers.

Madison took excellent care of Minifeli. He is very shy and hides when someone arrives, but he came out every time Madison visited him. When we returned from our trip, Minifeli was calm and happy. She took great care of him. She also sent us photos of him every day. I will call her again next time.

1st day back. At 10:40am I heard Gizmo meowing. He was sitting by the front door looking out. This was the time Caitlyn visited everyday. He was obviously looking for her. That pretty much says it all. She took great care of him and kept us informed every day.
Luisa is timely and we’ve used her twice to check in on our kitties. One of our kitties can be a bit territorial so we are grateful that she is so fearless and willing to check in on him. She sends us great photos and updates on how the kitties are doing while we are gone

Morgan was great; she was timely with her visits and make sure the needed tasks for my cat were done. Even though my cat stayed hidden for the majority of her visits, she made it a point to stay for the time, in the hopes my cat would come out from hiding and get to know her. Will use Morgan again in the future!

This is my second time booking with Addie and couldn’t recommend her more. I am confident that she will be reliable, respectful, and loving with my cat. I appreciate that she stays for the whole time making sure the animal feels the love and attention, and she is excellent with her updates and quick responses!

This was my first time using a sitter and Jessica was amazing! My three boy cats were well taken care of and she made sure to send some great pics of them while I was away. Even the scaredy-cat came out eventually and got some treats. Jessica communicated each visit and how everything went which helped me feel secure knowing someone super caring was watching over them. I will definitely book her again for my next trip!

The peace of mind Nina gives us when we’re away is everything, I love that she not only just feeds them but she also plays with them, gives them affection and was even kind enough to clean up after their messes/accidents. We’re thankful to have found a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
