“Shirley is the best. Not only is she an amazing person overall, but she’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever had for my 4 kitty cats. I was shocked that my one cat, who is usually terrified of new people, let her pet him on the second day! She really has a way with animals. You can tell she loves and cares for them deeply. While I was gone I got daily updates and pictures most days. Shirley really went above and beyond to care for my cats. She went over twice a day and hung out with them, let them out on the patio (which is their favorite thing ever). She even helped take out our trash and brought our mail in, which she didn’t have to do. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!”

About: I've been pet sitting/dog walking for 6 years and I've been working in the animal industry for 9. I have worked in general and emergency medicine, as well as physical rehabilitation. I enjoy working with nervous pups who aren't sure of. I like building a safe and comfortable relationship they a can rely on. I always ensure that whatever harness/collar is being used for a walk is on correctly prior to leaving the house. About: I’ve taken care of a lovely family cat for 18 years. I have also owned birds, hamsters, and rabbits throughout my life. I have experience with horse care and training, as well as dog and cat sitting. Additionally, I volunteered at the Sanford Pet Alliance shelter for a year, an organization dedicated to caring for cats and dogs. About: At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation! On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.
