I recently moved to the area and am a retired softball coach that owns a private practice working in sport psychology & mental performance. As you can imagine, marketing & finding new clients owning your own business takes time!! While making connections in the area, I thought back to how I made money as a kid… cue pet sitting! At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away.

1st day back. At 10:40am I heard Gizmo meowing. He was sitting by the front door looking out. This was the time Caitlyn visited everyday. He was obviously looking for her. That pretty much says it all. She took great care of him and kept us informed every day.
Caitlyn did an amazing job with my cats! One is over 20 years old and the other requires medication, and she handled both with great care. She was always on time, thorough with her Rover cards, and sent lots of wonderful photos. I felt completely at ease knowing my cats were in such good hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Caitlyn was new to me and Freckles, but from reports they got along fine. Caitlyn documented the visits with good pictures and written words. We had a misunderstanding regarding Caitlyn’s schedule of visits. I will make sure to communicate better and encourage Caitlyn to also do so. Caitlyn took good care of Freckles for the 3 days and I appreciate her for that!

I’m very pleased to have found Caitlyn to help with my 3 kitties. One requires an inhaler, which is not easy to administer since he hates it, but she was very patient with him making sure he got the treatment he needs. My cats can be shy, but I can tell from the pictures that they enjoyed Caitlyn’s company. I’m grateful to have someone I can trust to help with my sweet boys!

Schedule
I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day.

I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.

A typical day
Working from home & being self-employed, pets boarding with me get special attention that they wouldn’t with somebody working a typical 9-5. You can count on me for taking them on walks in the neighborhood to explore new smells rather than staying cooped up in the house during my breaks! I’m new to the area so I want to explore with them!
