“Brooklyn is a fantastic sitter. She was extremely detailed in her drop in summaries and provided any concerns and updates that came up. I would absolutely book her again in the future.”

“Ava did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 dogs and cat. She sent lots of pictures and loved on our pets while we were gone. Will definitely be reaching out again for our pets!”

About: I have 4 cats and 1 beautiful White Shepherd. I love animals and that’s why I am here to help you with yours while you are at work, traveling, or maybe just need a vacation to take care of yourself. I myself have had to leave my baby dog in boarding sometimes for travel and honestly he never was the same when I picked him up. That’s why I decided to help other taking care of their furry friends while they can’t and care for them with the same love their owners give them. Can be walking your doggy, play with him, feed him, cleaning his space ,change your cat little box, medication, and quality time with them. I am here for it all. I have plenty of time on my hands so I will be in time and take the time needed to make sure your pet is clean and happy. My cats have their own space in the house where they can climb, play and relax. Having one big dog, even he is very friendly and playful, made me understand that they needed their own space and that’s why I created it for them. My dog walks three times a day and I dedicate 1 hour a day only for him for a long walk or play time outside so that he is happy and well exercised.
“Carli was great! She stopped in to visit my kitties and made sure they had all the needed. Very nice personality and excellent communicator. Would definitely recommend her to others and would book her services again in the future if needed!”

“Rebecca was the right choice! Wilson was very comfortable with her immediately. We both appreciate the attention, walks and care for him while I was away for the day!”

“Dan was great! He was patient and understanding with my senior dog who doesn’t do very well around new people , but She warmed right up to him. He did everything we asked and more. Thanks Dan! 😃”

“Christopher did a wonderful job taking care of our older cat for the week while we were away. He went above and beyond in all aspects and our cat was so lucky to be taken care of by Christopher!”

“Katharine is such an amazing pet sitter! You can tell she really loves animals by her careful attention to detail and pictures that she sends! I have already booked her for another visit with my senior cat. He cannot wait to see her again!”

About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I enjoy being around animals and love to take care of them. I own two female German shorthaired pointers who have TONS of energy! And that’s what I love most about them. I know how important it is to meet all animals exactly where they’re at temperament wise. I truly enjoy being around animals…more than humans sometimes! I look forward to getting to walk or play with your fur babies! I work a hybrid job, so I am remote 2-3 times a week where I am fully home all day with my pups. On the days I go into the office, my partner comes home during lunch to let our dogs out. On weekends, I am home full time as well. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for activities! My own pups love to run around and play fetch back there. Dogs are allowed in furniture and to sleep in the bed in my house.
“Zack sent me many pictures of my cats while I was away. The pictures were a reassuring reminder that they were being cared for. Zack was also flexible with small requests like checking for packages which was also reassuring. He was generally very thorough in checking with me beforehand to see that everything I would want done for them was made note of.”

“She took great care of Nudy while I was away. I really appreciated the detailed updates, photos, and notes after each visit. Nudy looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for, and I could tell she gave him lots of attention. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Peter took absolutely amazing care of my dog, Oddie. This was the very first time we ever left Oddie with someone who wasn’t family, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Peter made us feel at ease and treated Oddie with so much love and care. He kept us updated and sent us photos, which truly meant the world to us and gave us so much peace of mind. We are beyond grateful for his care and will absolutely be using his services again. 100% highly recommended!”

“Khristina was so awesome. We have 5 cats (two kittens, one adult outside cat, and two adult indoor cats). Our trip was 6 days and Khristina did an amazing job looking after our four legged babies. Play time, cuddles, feeding and litter cleanings were all done well and with love. We were very comforted while away knowing Khristina was looking after our pride.”

“Christina was great dropping in to visit our dog and cat for a week while we were away. Even though our dog got a bit worked up one day and got into some chewing trouble, she handled it smoothly and even cleaned up. Will definitely trust her again to watch our pets!”

“Orly did a great job taking care of my two cats Chulito and Espurr. She communicated with me during each visit and sent me pictures! I was able to fully enjoy my trip knowing that my cats were being well taken care of.”

“Christine was great with our pup and took amazing care of him. She was always on time, communicative with updates, and went the extra mile when our dog's separation anxiety left him with an upset stomach. Will definitely keep her at the top of our list for taking care of our pup in the future.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Sanlando Springs
Isabella was/is great, she had 3 boys to look after and she always sent pics and a paragraph of their activities. We also have a pet with medication and she administered that with no problem, even sent a picture of that too! 6 stars, will try to get her again!

What a fantastic experience!!! We LOVED Zach. He went above and beyond and was fantastic about letting us know what was happening with all our pets at home. We rescued a very challenging Corgi 2 years ago from animal services, and he requires very specific EVERYTHING, which can make life a bit complicated. Zach did an amazing job with him and had a perfect, uneventful (thank God) experience with him and our other weirdos. THANK YOU ZACH!!

Luisa is timely and we’ve used her twice to check in on our kitties. One of our kitties can be a bit territorial so we are grateful that she is so fearless and willing to check in on him. She sends us great photos and updates on how the kitties are doing while we are gone

This is my second time booking with Addie and couldn’t recommend her more. I am confident that she will be reliable, respectful, and loving with my cat. I appreciate that she stays for the whole time making sure the animal feels the love and attention, and she is excellent with her updates and quick responses!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sanlando Springs. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
