I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for pets since I was a child. Before having pets of my own, I regularly cared for the dogs and other pets of friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, as well as cats and rabbits. I currently have a dog of my own and have a genuine passion for making sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I am working on getting my GoodPup Dog Trainer Certification to continue building my knowledge and skills and to better understand canine behavior and communication. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide plenty of companionship, attention, playtime, potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get some outdoor time, and pets are welcome to spend time with me inside the house as well. I also live with my boyfriend, Dylan, who is an animal lover himself. He enjoys helping with Rover and giving our furry guests even more attention, affection, and playtime throughout their stay. Your pet will have two people in the home who genuinely enjoy having animals around! I believe every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow the routines and rules they’re accustomed to at home. Whether your dog is crate trained, allowed on the furniture, has a specific feeding schedule, needs medication, prefers lots of activity, or simply wants to curl up beside us, I’ll do my best to keep their routine as familiar as possible while you’re away. 🚗 Drop-in Visit Travel Fee My listed Drop-in Visit rates apply to locations within 2 miles of my home. For locations more than 2 miles away, I charge an additional $5 for each mile beyond the 2-mile radius. This fee covers the round-trip travel. For example, if you are 3 miles from my home, there would be a $5 travel fee. If you are 4 miles away, the travel fee would be $10. I will manually adjust the booking price and let you know the updated total before the visit.

Schedule
I work from home full-time Monday–Friday, so I’m home throughout the day and able to provide regular potty breaks, meals, playtime, walks, and companionship. I typically take breaks throughout my workday and have a lunch break, giving me plenty of opportunities to check on and spend time with the pets in my care. I’m also home before and after work and on weekends, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can get some outdoor time and play, always with appropriate supervision. Inside the home, pets are welcome to be part of the family and receive plenty of attention and companionship. Safety is very important to me, especially when caring for multiple pets. I take each pet’s personality, comfort level, and interactions with other animals into consideration. When I need to leave the house, I separate pets as appropriate and make sure everyone has a safe, comfortable space of their own. My boyfriend, Dylan, is also an animal lover and helps me with Rover. Having another person in the home means our furry guests get even more attention, affection, and supervision throughout their stay.
Pets
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor the day to their personality, energy level, and normal routine. Dogs can enjoy supervised playtime in our large fenced backyard, walks around the neighborhood, and exploring nearby trails. I also enjoy taking dogs on occasional outings to local dog-friendly parks when it’s appropriate for the individual dog and the number of pets I’m caring for. However, there’s never any pressure for a dog to participate in activities they aren’t comfortable with. There’s also plenty of indoor playtime, cuddling, relaxing, and companionship throughout the day. For lower-energy or senior pets, a fun day might simply mean some gentle play, a relaxing nap, and lots of attention. My goal is to keep each pet happy, comfortable, and engaged while they’re away from their family.

- Please let me know anything that will help me give your pet the best possible care! This includes their normal feeding and potty schedule, sleeping arrangements, medications, allergies, medical or behavioral needs, fears, triggers, and anything else that is important to their routine. I’d also love to know about any household rules they normally follow. Are they allowed on the furniture? Are they crate trained? Do they need to be separated from other animals? Do they have any special routines or quirks? The more I know, the better I can keep their routine familiar while they’re away from home. Please also be upfront about any behaviors that may affect their care, such as resource guarding, anxiety, reactivity, escape attempts, separation anxiety, or aggression toward people or other animals. There’s no judgment—I just want to have the information necessary to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
