With experience, I have also learned how to set and maintain good (and firm - when necessary) boundaries. Dogs have been trusted members of my family since I was a child. I have cared for senior rescue dogs; I have socialized puppies; I have taught reserved dogs new tricks; and I have taught stubborn dogs to sit and wait. I have admittedly less history with cats, but just as much respect and care for them as any other animal. I do currently have one close cat companion (we used to be roommates, and have been best buds ever since). I was very nervous about trusting someone in my home with my pets for my 11-day trip overseas, but from the moment I met Caroline (Carli) she put my fears at ease. I could tell she was very comfortable and experienced around dogs, even my large mastiff. My cat liked her too (impressive)! Caroline is dependable, responsible, courteous, kind, communicative, and flexible. Most importantly, my pets really liked her! I could tell when she sent photos that both my dog and my cat were constantly seeking her affection and wanting to play with her. I could tell by their faces that they were happy, which is important to see when you’re gone so you can enjoy your time away. Caroline was also was super flexible when I ran into some logistical issues regarding my itinerary, which I really appreciated, and she was a very respectful houseguest. She left my home clean and tidy and even watered my plants for me. 11/10, will use her again!
