“Our second time having Peter take care of my boys was just as good as the first. He truly cares and took such amazing care of the dogs and house. Can’t recommend him enough!”

About: Ever since I was little I've always had a special connection with animals. My life has always been with my lovely pets. I love animals so much that I used to be a pet groomer just because I was so passionate about spending time with dogs and cats. I've taken care my family's pets before, provided full care: feed walk, bathe and even taken them to their vet appointment. Me and my husband are remote workers 100% we can fully dedicate and watch over your cute pups. We're off during the weekends and that's no problem because we have more time to provide attention to your pets I live in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I have a fenced backyard which is very spacious for potty and play time. My house is comfortable and accommodating if a kennel is required to be set up for your pet
“Kailey was amazing! She took wonderful care of Diesel and gave me such peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated with photos, communicated quickly anytime I had a question, and was incredibly responsible throughout the entire stay. I also came home to a very clean and tidy house, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable knowing Diesel and my home were in good hands. I would absolutely book Kailey again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter!”

“Chris was amazing! He took great care of Anubis and kept an eye on our home. We feel comfortable continuing to travel knowing we can leave our pet(s) in reliable hands. Thank you and we look forward to requesting you again!”

“Jackalyn was so wonderful! She was thorough and kind. I walked her through everything and she asked great questions when I missed something! I would highly recommend her for anyone’s fur babies!”

About: I have 9 years of dog sitting experience. I’ve taken care of small dogs and big dogs. I take the time to learn their unique personalities and make it the best time possible. Im am currently available from Monday-Friday, and selected weekends. I am currently working from home, so I have flexibility in my schedule. I am also flexible on holidays. I’ve had experience taking out dogs for potty breaks, feeding time, walks and play time. Always being mindful and having them leashed on the streets for safety precautions. At home I always ask of any particular routines, where do they potty, sleep and eat. Also of any behaviors I should be aware for the pets safety and mine. I do ask to be informed about any medications or food they are not allowed to have. All of this to assure the best care for your pet.
“Sonal was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly thorough and detailed, and warm & attentive to our babies. She kept us updated with photos and reports, and kept us at ease during our vacation. 10/10 will try to book again. :)”

“Alicia took very good care of our 2 boxers and sent pictures of them to me. She was great at communicating with me and responded quickly to my texts. Stephanie was AMAZING! It is so hard to leave them, but she made me so comfortable in knowing my pups were okay. She sent photos and updates daily. And I came home to a clean house which was a fantastic surprise and super nice after being on a business trip! I hope she can take care off f my babes for all of my trips! Thank you Stephanie (and Husband!)

Zach is always extremely thorough, dependable, and attentive while caring for our cats and reef fish tanks. He follows all of our instructions and goes above and beyond to make sure our home and critters are properly cared for. His reliability, trustworthiness, and attention to detail is unmatched.

Our dogs really seemed to love her, and we came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and a house that was in great shape. Ashland took care of our dogs, cat, fish, and plants while we were away, and even did some thoughtful extras like taking out our trash and recycling. We really appreciated knowing our pets and home were well taken care of while we traveled. First time using Rover or non-family member since we all traveled together. Overall, we’re happy and will rebook in the future.
Jackie is AMAZING. we booked her last minute for our 10 day trip to Italy and she took amazing care of my sweet Sunny and Max. I had beautiful pictures sent to me each day and lots of updates. I felt so much better about leaving my fur babies with her! Will most definitely book her again - she’s a diamond!!

Kellye was absolutely incredible from start to finish! She went above and beyond before, during, and even after her stay with our dogs. She kept us updated with messages and photos, gave them so much love and attention, and truly treated them like they were her own. When we got home, the biggest testament to how amazing she was came from our dogs. They literally ran right past us and waited at the door, looking for Kellye! 😂 It was obvious they had the best time. Knowing our pups were so happy and well cared for gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and we’ll absolutely be booking with Kellye again. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and who genuinely goes the extra mile, we can’t recommend her enough!

Nathan took excellent care of our dog and cat, making sure to clarify instructions for medications, etc. When our flight was cancelled last minute, he was kind enough to stay another night at very short notice, which we greatly appreciated! He left the house very clean and tidy. We will certainly book him again.

Kelsey came through as a last minute booking and saved the day. We reached out for a meet and greet 2 nights before we needed her and she responded almost immediately and was here an hour later to meet with myself and my giant pups. She was extremely professional and you can tell that she has a passion for dogs. She then came back to sit for them 2 days later, sent pictures and updated as I saw appropriate (not too much or too little). We will definitely use her again in the future😊

We could not have been happier with our decision to use Rebecca. She took amazing care of our senior pug, Tater. Her responses were always timely and she was awesome about sharing pictures throughout our time away. This was a great first experience with Rover and we cannot recommend Rebecca enough.

Elizabeth was very pleasant and professional with the meet and greet, this was the first time I did house sitting and she answered all of my questions gave me reassurance of the whole procedure. She met with Scarlett, and I showed all the quirky stuff I have setup with my dog. Elizabeth has great communication via text messaging, she let me know when she was going to arrive, she sent me pictures throughout the time she stayed with my dog for constant updates, putting my mind at ease since I never left my dog this long. She also updated me when she was leaving ,affirming that Scarlett was all set awaiting for me. Thank you Elizabeth for a great job.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Casselberry walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Casselberry maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Casselberry choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
