“Dan did a wonderful job taking care of my three cats for the 11 days I was out of town. I have one diabetic cat that needs daily insulin injections and another cat that needs a pill daily. It is a challenge finding a sitter that will give medications. Dan was happy to take that challenge on. It isn't always easy for me to give them their medications, but for someone the cats just met it is even more of a challenge. Dan took that responsibility on and got their medications done every day and lived to tell the tale! When my litter delivery didn’t show up, Dan was kind enough to pick some litter up. The cats and I really appreciated that. Dan sent lots of information about how the cats were doing and lots of pictures of my fur babies. I felt they were well cared for. You can tell Dan loves animals and that made me feel secure in his taking care of my furry family. Dan is at the top of my list for pet care the next time I go out of town. Especially if your pet needs medications, he will take care of it. That is a big deal to me and I appreciate Dan taking on the responsibility.”

About: Me and my husband both grew up with pets and have had dogs and cats the entire time we’ve been together. Watching your pets gives us the opportunity for us to love on other animals without bringing home the whole animal shelter. I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so between the two of us, your fur baby will never be left alone for long! We have a large fenced yard with plenty of running room, a very walkable neighborhood, and the ability to crate if needed. In addition to our dog and 2 cats, we also have 4 little human critters who LOVE animals and would be thrilled to have another pet in the house to love on.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a young teenager and have since taken care of my own fur babies for the past 8 years. I also have veterinary experience as I currently am a Veterinary Assistant with 3 years of experience. You can rest assured that your pets are safe with me and would be treated as my own. Allow me to alleviate a possible stressor in your travels by being a trusted pet sitter for your fur family. I understand from first hand experience with my own that each fur baby can be different and require additional needs, I am willing and capable of catering the service I provide to be as best as it can for your particular fur baby. Comfortable and experienced with Dogs, Cats, and some smaller exotics (Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, etc). I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, however, I am fully available Wednesdays and Sundays with 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month being available as well. Even with work, I am able to make early morning, afternoon, and evening trips during my work days as well, if needed, as I start at 8am, take lunch 12-1pm and then am off by 6pm. For boarding stays, your fur-baby will be in their own dedicated room that will contain their food, water, bedding, and any additional necessities you’d like them to have with them. Mondays and Saturdays are the only days they would be by themselves in their room, however, they would still be taken out in the morning (before 7:30am), during my lunch break (12-1pm), and after work (6pm). The rest of the week, my partner (who also has been in the veterinary field) works from home in the same room your fur-baby would stay in and will be assisting with monitoring them while I’m away for work. I have experience with strict and more relaxed feeding instructions and specifications. I also have experience giving medications as well as bathing. From fenced backyards to leashed potty-breaks, I have you covered. While I have my own fur-babies, you can rest assure that your own baby will be kept in their dedicated room while staying for boarding with us (unless specifically given approval to mingle with my fur-babies during potty-time/play-time)

“Senga's (my dog) stay with Kim was awesome! I was very nervous and had a lot of information that I wanted to share with Kim. Kim was empathetic and reassuring with me, listening to everything I needed to share. Kim loved Senga and took super special care of her, spoiling her with twice daily walks, and a beautiful yard for her to relax in and explore. There were dog beds in every room and Kim texted me pictures and antidotes at least twice a day. Senga throughly enjoyed her stay with Kim and I knew that she was safe and well cared for.
