“We had a cruise out of Port Canaveral. While we were cruising Sarah agreed to care for our West Highland White terrier. Sarah was gracious and enthusiastic about meeting Finlee Kate. When we returned to port, we called to say we were back in the USA. Sarah met us with Finlee as we arrived at her house. Finlee had the run of a fenced yard during her stay, as she does in her own house. We definitely would recommend Sarah as a pet sitter and would ask to have Finlee stay with Sarah on our next cruise out of Port Canaveral.”

About: My experience with cats includes caring for them at an animal shelter, where I worked with cats with a wide variety of personalities and needs. I’ve learned that patience is especially important when caring for cats—some are immediately affectionate, while others need time and space to feel comfortable. I’m attentive to their body language and individual routines and always strive to interact with them on their terms. When I care for your cat, I want to keep their routine as normal as possible. That means making sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of playtime and attention (if they want it!), and any grooming or medications they may need. I also pay attention to the little things, like changes in their appetite, energy, litter-box habits, or behavior, because I know how quickly you can tell when something just isn’t quite right with your cat. About: I’ve had and cared for dogs and cats since I was 5. In my group of friends and colleagues, I am known as the quintessential animal lover. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my pups and kitties. I have fostered dogs and cats (and I’ve randomly rescued 3 opossums in the last year alone). I’ve taken care of puppies and kittens, medically complicated animals, and incontinent seniors with dementia. I had two senior dogs who passed in the last two years and I’m not ready to have another one just yet but I do miss being around them. About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a young teenager and have since taken care of my own fur babies for the past 8 years. I also have veterinary experience as I currently am a Veterinary Assistant with 3 years of experience. You can rest assured that your pets are safe with me and would be treated as my own. Allow me to alleviate a possible stressor in your travels by being a trusted pet sitter for your fur family. I understand from first hand experience with my own that each fur baby can be different and require additional needs, I am willing and capable of catering the service I provide to be as best as it can for your particular fur baby. Comfortable and experienced with Dogs, Cats, and some smaller exotics (Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, etc). I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, however, I am fully available Wednesdays and Sundays with 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month being available as well. Even with work, I am able to make early morning, afternoon, and evening trips during my work days as well, if needed, as I start at 8am, take lunch 12-1pm and then am off by 6pm. For boarding stays, your fur-baby will be in their own dedicated room that will contain their food, water, bedding, and any additional necessities you’d like them to have with them. Mondays and Saturdays are the only days they would be by themselves in their room, however, they would still be taken out in the morning (before 7:30am), during my lunch break (12-1pm), and after work (6pm). The rest of the week, my partner (who also has been in the veterinary field) works from home in the same room your fur-baby would stay in and will be assisting with monitoring them while I’m away for work. I have experience with strict and more relaxed feeding instructions and specifications. I also have experience giving medications as well as bathing. From fenced backyards to leashed potty-breaks, I have you covered. While I have my own fur-babies, you can rest assure that your own baby will be kept in their dedicated room while staying for boarding with us (unless specifically given approval to mingle with my fur-babies during potty-time/play-time)

“We were gone for a week in April, 2024. Our two dogs stayed with Cristy and had a great time. Both of them are special cases. Lola is an 18 year old dachshund who is deaf and partially blind. Pepper is an eight year old Dalmatian/American bulldog mix who was a street dog rescue. Her background is unknown, but there are several clues that she had been abused. Both dogs needed special attention, and they got it with Cristy. We would not hesitate at all to trust Cristy to watch our dogs again any time.”

“There aren’t enough stars to rate how incredible Kim is. I was very nervous about leaving my 9.5 month old puppy Izzy while I went away. I needed someone who would only watch one dog at a time and who is home during the day. I did a search and found that people say they only do one pet at a time but after initial contact, they disclosed that they won’t. Kim, on the other hand, was VERY firm that Izzy would be her only guest. I was able to meet Kim prior and see where Izzy would be. Izzy quickly made herself at home because Kim’s home has dog toys, beds and comfy places for any size dog. I knew I made the right choice. Kim is amazing. I dropped Izzy off at our agreed upon time with personal food, favorite toys and treats and favorite bedding. and I felt really comfortable leaving. And Izzy was thrilled with this situation! She had the run of the place. The two of them bonded and Kim loved my baby while I couldn’t. And it is genuine. She really did enjoy having my girl as company. I received many updates with pictures. Izzy was sleeping in the bed, allowed on the furniture, cuddling and loving Kim just like at home. It was clear that Izzy’s vacation might have been better than my time away! When I picked Izzy up she was happy to see me but was a bit reluctant to say goodbye to Kim LOL. That’s when you know your pup is telling you they had a great time. If you need a dog sitter, I can’t recommend Kim highly enough. She will do all she can to make your pup her priority and to love your fur baby as if s/he is hers. Infinite stars if possible. 💜”
About: From a young age, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three dogs, two cats, and various other animals, I developed a genuine love for caring for animals and understanding their individual personalities. I started pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 10 and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. As a teenager, I volunteered at a veterinary office and later became a foster for animals in need. These experiences gave me an early foundation in responsible, compassionate animal care. As an adult, I’ve continued to build on that experience through several animal-care positions. Most recently, I worked full-time with an animal shelter, where I helped intake animals, provide their daily care, assess their needs and behavior, and assist them on their journey toward finding forever homes. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced and loving hands. My schedule is very flexible, as pet care is my primary focus. I’m available Monday through Saturday (unless boarding, in which I am available all week) with flexible availability throughout the day, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I have a friendly, dog-loving dog of my own who enjoys having other dogs around. I always take introductions at the dogs’ pace, though, and I pay close attention to their personalities and body language to make sure everyone is comfortable. My home also has a screened-in pool, so I’m especially mindful of water safety. Pets are never given unsupervised access to the pool, and I’m happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet and the pool area.
