About: I’ve always had pets growing up. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter. I just personally love animals and are really good with animals I work part time but I have a very flexible schedule, I’d always make time to take care of pets when needed. I love all dogs big and small I have a blue tick hound that I rescued. I always play with her and take her out, she loves sleeping on my bed with me or in my room.
About: From a young age, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three dogs, two cats, and various other animals, I developed a genuine love for caring for animals and understanding their individual personalities. I started pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 10 and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. As a teenager, I volunteered at a veterinary office and later became a foster for animals in need. These experiences gave me an early foundation in responsible, compassionate animal care. As an adult, I’ve continued to build on that experience through several animal-care positions. Most recently, I worked full-time with an animal shelter, where I helped intake animals, provide their daily care, assess their needs and behavior, and assist them on their journey toward finding forever homes. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced and loving hands. My schedule is very flexible, as pet care is my primary focus. I’m available Monday through Saturday (unless boarding, in which I am available all week) with flexible availability throughout the day, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. My home also has a screened-in pool, so I’m especially mindful of water safety. Pets are never given unsupervised access to the pool, and I’m happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet and the pool area.

It is always nerve wrecking to find a new pet sitter to stay in my home with my pooches- as they really are my babies. But Ashland was fantastic with them! Maria was amazing!!! I always have felt guilty leaving our pups, but this time it felt like our boy was on vacation as well. Maria spoiled him rotten! 💕 As a rescue, he has some fears, but she loved on him with patience and kindness, and he fell in love with her and trusts her so much. I told her she was a dog whisperer, being able to touch him in situations we normally even can’t. He’s even learning to sit now thanks to Maria! She went above and beyond doing some minor clean up grooming to make O more comfortable. And, to top it all off, I received tons of photos, videos, and updates every day—I loved this so much!
