“Sarah was absolutely amazing with Mia! She is highly communicative, kept me updated throughout the day, and sent lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Mia had an incredible day and came home happy and tired—which, as every dog owner knows, means she had a great time! Sarah also went above and beyond by accepting not one, but TWO last-minute bookings for me, which I truly appreciated. It’s clear that Sarah genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and Mia was so comfortable and happy with her. We’re both very happy customers, and Mia is already excited to go back tomorrow! 🐾🐾🐾 Thank you, Sarah! We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional Rover sitter.”
“Our dog Suki had a great time! She loved having a pup there to play with and we appreciated taking home a tired pup! haha! getting to play in the pool was an added bonus for her since she loves the water. Kristina sent pics and videos to check in and i could tell Suki had a wonderful time at their home.”
“Thank you Ms. Debra. I'm glad that Barack is adjusting to new surroundings & the other dogs as well. I'll tell his worrying Dad (lol) that he has nothing to worry about.”

“Carmin was a superb Doggy Day Care host. I can see why she's booked all the time! Aside from the dogs enjoying themselves, she's a great communicator—always prompt in returning messages, and sending lots of photos, as well. We hope to see her again—if she has an open date!”

“Lily always has such a great time at Lisa’s and it’s so nice not to worry about her while she’s there! I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a place for their dog to call their 2nd home!”

“Irene is a rescued dog who has been with us for over a year. She’s naturally skittish and gets stressed easily, so finding the right person to care for her was very important to us especially after the loss of our beloved Sophie, who was with us for 14 years. Before choosing a sitter, my husband and I carefully reviewed several Rover profiles, and Rita’s immediately stood out. We were drawn to her empathy and experience with rescue dogs and those with medical needs. After a meet-and-greet that went very well, we felt confident giving it a try. Over the past few months, Irene has been in Rita’s care several times, and each visit has only reassured us. We can see that Irene is becoming more comfortable, which speaks volumes about Rita’s patience and compassion. She keeps us updated with pictures throughout the day and always sends a detailed report card afterward, which we truly appreciate. Rita is kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the dogs she cares for. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for their beloved pet. 🐶”

“We Absolutely love leaving Reese with Brandon and Brittany. They take such good care of him. As soon as we pull into their driveway, Reese starts whining to get out of the car and drags me to their front door to get into their home. He loves spending time with them and their family.”

“What can I say about Kim? She was accommodating of my last minute request for doggie daycare for a couple hours. Very responsive and quick about replying back. There's a certain ease and comfort for me and my dog, Emma when you get to know Kim. Rest assured that your beloved fur-member will find fulfillment (mentally and physically) when you book with her. We ♥️ you, Kim. Glad we finally found you.”

Brought Knox for doggy daycare with Kristina. She accepted my weekend day booking a day or two in advance, and sent me photos throughout the day to let me know he was doing well. He is a high energy boy so it was great to know he was getting to play with her dog while I was gone instead of being home alone. Would book with Kristina again.

Here's a revised version of your review with some enhancements for clarity and flow: --- Sasha was wonderful! I was initially nervous about leaving my dog with someone unfamiliar, but as soon as Sasha met him, she showered him with love, and he was very happy. He didn’t even notice when I left! I felt a huge relief knowing he was in good hands. Sasha was incredibly kind and even sent me pictures, which made me even happier. I would absolutely choose Sasha to care for my dog again.
Kaitlyn is absolutely amazing with my pup Tony he loves to come here. When I pull into the parking lot, his tail starts wagging he starts whining in excitement, and literally tries to jump out of the car to get to her house. I'm so thankful that I have found her as she takes amazing care of my Tony boy

Maria is AMAZING!!! She’s sweet, kind and attentive to my senior dogs needs. I was nervous about going back to 12 hour shifts and leaving my little princess Gia for so long but, in the care of Maria she put my worries at ease and I’m so very greatful to have made this connection💗 I will most definitely be requesting her services again very soon and would recommend her to anyone needing care of their fur baby!!! ¡Muchísimas gracias, alma bella!❣️ Abrazos y besos de parte de Gia y míos 🐾💞

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Longwood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
