About: I recently moved to the area and am a retired softball coach that owns a private practice working in sport psychology & mental performance. As you can imagine, marketing & finding new clients owning your own business takes time!! While making connections in the area, I thought back to how I made money as a kid… cue pet sitting! At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.

About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I enjoy being around animals and love to take care of them. I own two female German shorthaired pointers who have TONS of energy! And that’s what I love most about them. I know how important it is to meet all animals exactly where they’re at temperament wise. I truly enjoy being around animals…more than humans sometimes! I look forward to getting to walk or play with your fur babies! I work a hybrid job, so I am remote 2-3 times a week where I am fully home all day with my pups. On the days I go into the office, my partner comes home during lunch to let our dogs out. On weekends, I am home full time as well. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for activities! My own pups love to run around and play fetch back there. Dogs are allowed in furniture and to sleep in the bed in my house.

I’ve given countless doses of meds, cleaned up plenty of puke & other messes, & know at the end of the day what it means to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I’m here to help you relax while they’re with me. I have my own pets & I have my own business that I run from home. Pets are constantly top of mind for me as they’re around me all day. I use crate training for nighttime & while I’m away from home (for our own two dogs) but otherwise they’re running around the home & yard all day long (or, if you’re our beagle, napping all day long). I love to do a quick check & make sure there are no messes (ie, puke, accidents, hairballs, etc.) and then make sure each pet gets some affection. They’ll get lots of pets throughout the day in my own home, but I also make sure to let them out frequently (we have a doggie door for the dogs). They’re fed consistently & appropriately, and I follow any guidelines left with me. My children, if your pets are at our home, will also ensure your pets get lots of affection & attention.

At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.

She made sure meds were given on time, provided plenty of walks, and kept Lyla happy and engaged. The daily updates, photos, and videos she sent me made me feel reassured while I was away. I specially appreciated her attention to detail; while spending time with Lyla, she noticed an irregularity under her front leg area and immediately informed me.
