I’ve had dogs my whole life and they have been instrumental in my development as a person in so many ways. I’m big on consistency, manners, positive reinforcement and communication. I’m moderately skilled with actual dog training/behavior modification and am happy to incorporate/reinforce any specific training you’re doing at home as well. I’m comfortable with most medication administration, and am open to learning new things if needed. Also, I'm a sign language interpreter by trade, so Deaf dogs (and/or clients) make no nevermind to me. I’ll do my best to love them all like you love them!

Carmin is a fantastic sitter! Flora was clearly comfortable at her house. Carmin made sure we returned with everything we brought over and sent us updates with pictures throughout our trip.

Carmin takes wonderful care of my baby. Five STARs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As always, Carmin was the best of the best!!! Johnny always has a great time with her and comes back home a happy pup.

My two girls always love their stay with Carmin. Plus, she is a great communicator who is always quick to return Messages about bookings and such.

My little one were very happy with Carmin! I appreciated all the updates while traveling and the accommodations with pick up or drop off! Thnak you Carmin!

We are always very at peace to leave our Zoey with Carmine. Zoey walks in, as if she lives there. Zoey eats, poops, and sleeps well. Carmine sends us pictures during Zoey’s stay. Carmine goes out of her way to make sure Zoey is safe. This time she cushioned Zoey’s ramp with pillows to make sure Zoey was safe using the ramp to sit on Carmine’s couch. Carmine is also very organized. She created a checklist of all Zoey’s belongings. At departure, Carmine had everything packed including the checklist of belongings. She also made sure Zoey smelled pleasant. Carmine’s home is clean and tidy. She makes the doggy care transitions easy by having a bed, gates, bowls, and pillows on hand. Overall, I feel that Zoey receives lots of love and excellent care from Carmine. I highly recommend, Carmine.

Schedule
I work from home in a “remote call center” kind of thing. The pups/cats won’t be allowed in the office during my work hours (generally 6 hours per day) but I can break at flexible times, as needed, for potty breaks. My evenings are generally open and I’m happy to play or snuggle before and after feeding times. My full attention can be devoted from 4ish-pm until 9ish-am if that’s what you’re looking for, but the pup would need to either be crated, or free-range if not destructive, during my working hours otherwise. I do have a camera on in the living room while I'm in the office so I can see what they're up to, also.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a pretty decently sized fenced yard, but still supervise any outside time to keep everyone honest. :) I can crate as needed, or allow free roaming if your pup has a reputation for being non-destructive. I know separation from their people is hard and will try to make them as comfortable as possible. There are no other animals in the home, so they will have my full focus.
A typical day
It's hard to plan super fun outdoor activities in this crazy Florida heat, but I have a great yard for playing ball or frisbee when the sun isn't tryin' to fry us like an egg. I do prefer going on walks later in the day or earlier in the morning for that reason, too. Safety and comfort are important and there's lots to do inside, like practicing manners or tricks, chewin' on toys, light grooming if they like that, or my lap is always ready for cuddles. 1.1.2024 UPDATE: **Due to the presence of a new unleashed dog in my neighborhood, I'm not comfortable offering walks at this time, for everyone's safety, but the backyard is large enough for zoomies and I can supplement enrichment there as well. :)
