She would make sure the dogs got to go on a walk and have time to go to the bathroom and eat. About: From a young age, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three dogs, two cats, and various other animals, I developed a genuine love for caring for animals and understanding their individual personalities. I started pet-sitting for friends and family when I was 10 and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. As a teenager, I volunteered at a veterinary office and later became a foster for animals in need. These experiences gave me an early foundation in responsible, compassionate animal care. As an adult, I’ve continued to build on that experience through several animal-care positions. Most recently, I worked full-time with an animal shelter, where I helped intake animals, provide their daily care, assess their needs and behavior, and assist them on their journey toward finding forever homes. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind that their pets are in experienced and loving hands. My schedule is very flexible, as pet care is my primary focus. I’m available Monday through Saturday (unless boarding, in which I am available all week) with flexible availability throughout the day, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. My home also has a screened-in pool, so I’m especially mindful of water safety. Pets are never given unsupervised access to the pool, and I’m happy to follow any specific rules or preferences you have regarding your pet and the pool area.
