“My husband and I had to go on a week-long trip and couldn’t take our pups with us. We felt a bit anxious about having someone we didn’t personally know stay in our home caring for our three pups … they can be a handful. Especially now with our new addition who has loads of energy! We decided to do a meet and greet with Roman and from the moment we met with him we knew we had found the right person to care for our pups. All three of our pups loved meeting with Roman. They were very excited at first but after a few minutes of meeting Roman, we noticed how calm Roman made them feel. During our first meeting, Roman asked a lot of questions about each pup and their personalities and needs. During his stay, Roman sent us updates and photos and he was also very responsive each time we sent him a message. He was detail-oriented and followed the directions we gave him. He was even able to handle one of our pups who has some social anxiety. He made us feel at ease while he was caring for our pups. Our pups were calm and happy to see us when we came home from our trip and the house looked great. We are very pleased with Roman and will be using him again. Thank you Roman for taking such good care of our fur babies!”

About: I have experience taking care of bigger and smaller dog breeds. Walking them is no issue, I can handle with confidence 2 or less at a time, and make a point to clean up after them. I have a degree in Computer Science & Game Development, and try to work from home. This means my availability is pretty good; roughly 3 to 4 full days a week I can work around. I have found that certain brands of dog food are vastly superior to others, and that many owners overfeed their pets, so I try to stay aware of that with the pets I take care of. I have also had to clean up after animals many times in the past, and have as such, learned to not take it personally, and gotten pretty good at it. Also when it comes to keeping dogs active, I try to walk them regularly; run with them if I can, and play Fetch or tug of war with them if they're still energetic whilst under my care.

About: I’ve watched a range of dogs and cats. And volunteer to watch many of my friends & families pets because I enjoy it so much. I am currently a full time grad student and part time military member. So I have a very predictable schedule, that allows me to make plenty of time to take care of pets. I treat each pet as if it’s my own. Which means if they’re a dog, it’s very important to me they get potty breaks often and exercise. If they’re a cat, it’s very important for me to make sure litter box is clean and water is fresh. And regardless of what animal, it’s important they get stimulation, interaction and love!
