“I’m so grateful! I sent a last-minute request early in the morning for same-day walks, and they were able to accommodate both times without any issues. They arrived promptly and clearly care about the dogs they work with. They even brought treats along. Highly recommend!”

“Carolina was friendly, clearly loves dogs, and followed through with all my requests for the dog walk. She took very good care of our four-legged family member. I will be using her again.”
About: I have loved animals since I was a baby, I’ve volunteered at shelters and fostered animals of all shapes and sizes. I have also worked at a vets office giving me knowledge about the safety and health of our pets! I am a full time college student but I have a very flexible schedule allowing me to be home and available everyday and I’m never gone for more then 3 hours! I live in a pet friendly apartment with a dog park located directly downstairs as well as lots of trails and fields to run in!
“Roman has been walking our dog consistently for several months and we could not be happier. It’s great to know we can always count on him! He’s also been very flexible and accommodating with last minute add-ons. Highly recommend”

“Jenna continues to be amazing! We really appreciate how she tries her best to make it work with the requests and of course always providing the best care to the furbabies”

“Christian did such a good job with our pups! They are older so they don’t always like to go far for their walks but he took the time to allow them time outside and time to socialize. We’ve already requested another booking!”

About: I have lived with small dogs for most of my life. Since I currently don't have any pets, I am excited to meet your furry friend. I am a grad student and I set my own work hours. Each week, I work some days in-person and some remote. As long as I have some advance notice, I can move my schedule around to fit your needs. I cannot host pets at my home. I am happy to visit your home to take care of your pets. I am always just a text or call away.
About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and grew up with smaller dogs in my home while developing a love for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I currently care for my cat, Teddy, and our new kitten, Minnie, which has given me daily experience with feeding schedules, playtime, litter box maintenance, and providing plenty of love and attention. As someone who works remotely and attends school online, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care, companionship, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I promise to treat your pets with the same care and patience that I give my own! I currently work remotely as an online fitness coach while also attending school online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. About: Hello dear pet parents – and a big hello to your furry friend! My name is Anna, and animals—especially dogs—have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. When I was just six years old, I wanted a dog so badly that I persistently convinced my parents until they finally agreed. Having my very own dog instead of only our neighbors’ dogs was a dream come true. My first dog was a Golden Retriever. We attended dog training classes together, and she—along with a few more dogs later on (yes, there were more, lol)—accompanied me throughout my childhood and teenage years. From that early age on, I felt a deep and special connection with dogs / pets. Today, pets are still a central part of my life. We currently share our home with our two wonderful dogs, Zazou and Simba, as well as our sweet cats Chiara and Mogli. I’ve spent many years volunteering at animal shelters. When working with dogs, I use only positive reinforcement. Kindness, patience, and respect are the foundation of everything I do. During my drop-in visits or walking sessions, I tail-or the time exactly to your dog's needs: we can go for nice, structured walks through your neighborhood or nearby parks, have fun playtime, or simply do a quick potty break in your yard followed by lots of cuddles and mental stimulation. Your routine is my priority. Big or small, young or old—every animal is welcome and will be treated with the love, care, and respect they truly deserve. I’m extremely reliable, organized, and respectful of your home. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved companion! With love and lots of tail wags, Anna I’m currently a SAHM, which allows me to organize my day in a way that works well for both my family and the pets I care for. We have a nice, fenced backyard where the dogs can play freely, relax in the sun, or cool off in our doggy pool during the hot summer days—it’s a safe, happy space for them to enjoy.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love spending time with animals. I’m active, dependable, and enjoy walks, playtime, and making pets feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll always treat your pet like family! I am a teacher with the summers off, so in the summer I have a completely free schedule to help care for your fur babies!! I live in an apartment complex with a sidewalk that I take walks/ runs on daily. There are dog parks in the area! Your pet would be a great addition to my daily walks. :)
About: My family has had multiply dogs varying from young to old. All dogs require matience from daily baths to monthly medication. My family has owned everything from a little pomchi, old mixed poodle, and a young french bull dog. Walking them all at the same time is a challenge that I have conquered, but taking one at at time is better for me and the dogs. I love playing with dogs both indoors and outdoors. I am currently unemployed and have plenty of free time. In an effort to get myself up and out of the house, dog walks or taking care of other pets just seems like the perfect fit. I used to take the time to play with our family dogs and I especially loved to brush out their fur! The last of our family pets passed away last year and I miss having them around greatly. Rover has been a great outlet for me adoration and love for pets ♥️
“My fiancée and I had a weekend work trip and couldn’t take our daughter-pet Lucy with us, someone told us about this app and We were so grateful to have someone like Xiaoying to watch over Lucy, she was very communicative and gentle with Lucy since ahe is a shy dog, during the time we were away Xiaoying took Lucy on walks and feed her twice a day, she was also very respectful of our home by taking her shoes off, we are really happy with Xiaoying and will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and sweet person for your pet. Thank you so much Xiaoying!!!!”

About: I’m currently a student at UCF studying biomedical sciences. As it is summer, I have a pretty free schedule, and since I enjoy animals so much I thought I’d do this for fun. As for dog walking I’ve walked all types of sizes and breeds of dogs. My own dogs can be extreme pullers so I’m not afraid of stronger dogs either. Having Chow Chows I also understand that dogs can be wary and may take a while to warmup to someone; and same can go for kitties. Moreover, I’ve also dogsat many times. I’m currently in my summer semester at UCF so I have ample free time to properly care for and play with your pet! Additionally, I am a very active individual who goes to the gym everyday, so I can take your pet on long and enjoyable walks anytime. My own dogs go on walks 2-3 times a day. Additionally, they get plenty of treats, playtime, and love. They are always up to date on all of their vaccines and visit the vet for wellness check ups regularly.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. Together, my partner Beny and I have owned and cared for both dogs and cats for as long as we can remember. Seven years ago, I adopted my own little furry family, and today we share our home with our own crew of wonderful cats ranging in age from one to twelve. Over the years, we’ve become the go-to pair for friends and family who need someone they can trust to care for their pets, whether that’s daily walks, weekend stays, or simply giving their animals love and attention when they can’t be there. We’ve cared for pets of all ages, from 1-week-old kittens and puppies to senior cats and dogs as old as 17. We’re comfortable administering medications (both pills and liquids), following special routines, and working with pets of all temperaments. Every animal is unique, and our goal is to make sure each one feels safe, happy, and loved, just like they would at home. Whether you have a playful puppy, an affectionate cat, or a senior companion, we’d love the chance to get to know them and provide the attentive, reliable care they deserve. I work as an interior designer just minutes from our house, and Beny is a student with a flexible schedule. I’m home every day during my lunch break, and Beny is home most of the time, which means your pet will rarely be left alone. Together, we make sure every animal in our care gets plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. We prioritize every pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. From walks and playtime to crating when needed, we follow your instructions closely and maintain a secure, loving environment. Whether it’s exercise, affection, or calm companionship, we’ll make sure your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home while you’re away.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and recently discovered a love for cats, thanks to my girlfriend, an animal lover who shares my passion and helps care for the pets we sit. Together, we bring a calm, caring, and experienced presence to every pet we meet. I’ve cared for animals as young as 1 week old and as senior as 19 years. I offer basic training for both dogs and cats (sit, lay, paw) and have experience administering pills and liquid medication when needed. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy cat, or a senior pet with special needs, I provide trustworthy, loving care tailored to each animal’s age and personality. I’m a full-time Computer Science student, so I’m home pretty much all the time, working on school. My girlfriend is also home a lot, so your pet will always have someone around to keep them company. Whether it's playtime, cuddles, or just chilling together, your furry friend will get all the attention they need! I understand how important it is to have someone reliable looking after your pets while you're away. I live in a cozy 2 bedroom apartment, and I’m home most of the time, so your pets will always be under supervision in a safe, clean, and loving environment. Whether you prefer care in my home, yours, or a mix of both, I offer flexible options to fit your needs. I can stay at your house to keep your pets comfortable in their familiar surroundings, or if you'd like them to have a change of scenery, they’re welcome to come to my home for a stay. If you're looking for something more short-term, I can also do drop-in visits to feed, play, and check in on them. Rest assured, your pet will receive plenty of attention, love, and care, just like they would at home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oviedo
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cassandra taking care of our dog, Hiro. From the very first visit, she was incredibly attentive, responsible, and thoughtful. She was detailed and reassuring. She carefully monitored Hiro’s leash behavior, bathroom habits, eating, and water intake, and always kept us informed of anything out of the ordinary. She went above and beyond to make sure Hiro was comfortable and hydrated, even hand-holding his water bowl when he wasn’t drinking enough. She also made sure he was fed properly, got plenty of pets, and even playtime. It was very clear how much she genuinely cared about Hiro’s well-being. On top of being an excellent caregiver, she was flexible, easy to communicate with, and honestly a joy to work with. Her updates were not only thorough but also funny and lighthearted, such as the bonus cat photos always made us smile. We trust her diligence taking care of our dog. We couldn’t recommend her more highly and would absolutely book her again without hesitation!

I contacted Austin last minute to walk Moose, our Basenji. He responded promptly and was extremely friendly and communicative. He always arrived early, except once due to an unforeseen circumstance. He even accommodated adding some feedings in before walking him to help my husband out after his surgery. He was amazing with Moose & it was obvious Moose loved him. We would certainly use Austin again if we had the need. He was excellent!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
