About: I’ve taken care of pets for 10+ years. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. I also have 10+ years of childcare experience, a bachelors degree in early childhood development and education, and I’m a certified teacher. However, I’m not currently teaching so my schedule is flexible to care for your pet! Many people have trusted me to take care of their children - I would love to care for your four-legged child as well. I also have three pets of my own and know how important quality care is for them. I’m currently in-between jobs at the moment, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! My schedule is flexible and can easily accommodate yours. I have experience walking, feeding, crating and administering medication to pets that need it. My three pets at home are well cared for and experience lots of love and cuddles.
“Becca was so kind and even set up a call so we could talk about care instructions and how to get into our home! We will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Carolina was friendly, clearly loves dogs, and followed through with all my requests for the dog walk. She took very good care of our four-legged family member. I will be using her again.”
About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a young teenager and have since taken care of my own fur babies for the past 8 years. I also have veterinary experience as I currently am a Veterinary Assistant with 3 years of experience. You can rest assured that your pets are safe with me and would be treated as my own. Allow me to alleviate a possible stressor in your travels by being a trusted pet sitter for your fur family. I understand from first hand experience with my own that each fur baby can be different and require additional needs, I am willing and capable of catering the service I provide to be as best as it can for your particular fur baby. Comfortable and experienced with Dogs, Cats, and some smaller exotics (Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, etc). I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, however, I am fully available Wednesdays and Sundays with 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month being available as well. Even with work, I am able to make early morning, afternoon, and evening trips during my work days as well, if needed, as I start at 8am, take lunch 12-1pm and then am off by 6pm. For boarding stays, your fur-baby will be in their own dedicated room that will contain their food, water, bedding, and any additional necessities you’d like them to have with them. Mondays and Saturdays are the only days they would be by themselves in their room, however, they would still be taken out in the morning (before 7:30am), during my lunch break (12-1pm), and after work (6pm). The rest of the week, my partner (who also has been in the veterinary field) works from home in the same room your fur-baby would stay in and will be assisting with monitoring them while I’m away for work. I have experience with strict and more relaxed feeding instructions and specifications. I also have experience giving medications as well as bathing. From fenced backyards to leashed potty-breaks, I have you covered. While I have my own fur-babies, you can rest assure that your own baby will be kept in their dedicated room while staying for boarding with us (unless specifically given approval to mingle with my fur-babies during potty-time/play-time)
About: I've been around animals my entire life and have grown up with nine family dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities. My experience includes German Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Labradors, and many rescue dogs with mixes including Pit Bull, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Jack Russell Terrier, and more. Caring for dogs with different temperaments has taught me that every pet has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know each one's personality. I also volunteered at Second Chance Animal Rescue near Orlando, where I walked and fed dogs, cared for cats, and even looked after the occasional peacock! Although I can't currently have pets of my own because I'm renting, I spend as much time with animals as I can by caring for my sister's dogs, my aunt's Labrador, and pets belonging to friends and family. I'm happy to provide long or short walks and drop-in visits. I love sending photo updates and keeping owners informed throughout every visit, including when I arrive, when I leave, and if I notice anything that should be communicated. I also welcome detailed care instructions because I want to make sure your pet's routine stays as consistent and comfortable as possible. Having cared for dogs with anxiety and PTSD, I understand the importance of patience, staying calm, and earning a pet's trust at their own pace. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower, quieter approach, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. As a graduate student with two part-time jobs, spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to recharge during the week. Going for walks, getting outside, and giving pets my full attention is a refreshing break from studying and work, so pet care naturally fits into my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to walks and drop-in visits without feeling rushed. Whether it's a quick potty break, a long walk, or simply keeping your pet company, I make sure every visit gets my full attention. Caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to, and I love building relationships with both pets and their owners through dependable care, clear communication, and plenty of photo updates. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I understand how much trust it takes to invite someone into your home and care for a beloved family member, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll follow your instructions closely, respect your home, and make sure your pet receives attentive, dependable care every visit. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers a slow sniff around the neighborhood, or needs extra patience and reassurance, I'll tailor each visit to their individual needs. You'll also receive plenty of photos and updates, so you can relax knowing exactly how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, I’ve bottle fed animals, helped care for injured pets, and fostered many kittens. I was enrolled in vet tech school for a brief period of time. I work part time so I will have plenty of free time to take care of your pet, take them on walks, play, cuddles etc. Understandably, pets are sensitive to change and may be missing their people. I will maintain their schedule as much as possible. With all the passion I have for animals, I am just as much a people pleaser. Therefore will strive to make everything perfect for your pet.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Whites Landing
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cassandra taking care of our dog, Hiro. From the very first visit, she was incredibly attentive, responsible, and thoughtful. She was detailed and reassuring. She carefully monitored Hiro’s leash behavior, bathroom habits, eating, and water intake, and always kept us informed of anything out of the ordinary. She went above and beyond to make sure Hiro was comfortable and hydrated, even hand-holding his water bowl when he wasn’t drinking enough. She also made sure he was fed properly, got plenty of pets, and even playtime. It was very clear how much she genuinely cared about Hiro’s well-being. On top of being an excellent caregiver, she was flexible, easy to communicate with, and honestly a joy to work with. Her updates were not only thorough but also funny and lighthearted, such as the bonus cat photos always made us smile. We trust her diligence taking care of our dog. We couldn’t recommend her more highly and would absolutely book her again without hesitation!

I contacted Austin last minute to walk Moose, our Basenji. He responded promptly and was extremely friendly and communicative. He always arrived early, except once due to an unforeseen circumstance. He even accommodated adding some feedings in before walking him to help my husband out after his surgery. He was amazing with Moose & it was obvious Moose loved him. We would certainly use Austin again if we had the need. He was excellent!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
