“Adriana is amazing!! She’s very punctual and communicative and is so good with our two big dogs as well as our cat!! She was always updating me and I felt so assured and less anxious because I knew my dogs were in good hands. 💛”

“Very friendly and let me know when my doggo was being stubborn about eating while I was gone. She sends good rover cards with pictures and the walking tracker, so I know he got plenty of exercise while I was away.”

“There is no better sitter than Carolina. Firstly she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I met her daughter who was equally as sweet! She took amazing care of my kitty, sent lots of pictures and kept me worry-free on my trip. I also came home to a holiday toy for both my dog and cat! As hard as it is to leave your pets for a trip, it felt a lot better knowing they were in such great care. A+ experience with Carolina!!”
“Becca was absolutely amazing with our two kitties! They can both be shy, but they very quickly warmed up to her. Everything was taken care of perfectly and she even gave our fussy cat her medication :). Throughout our whole trip, we got plenty of pictures and videos, and general updates on the cats. Becca even went above expectations to keep the house tidied up and took our trash out, and brought our mail inside. The kitties and I both know they were in great hands while we were away, and received all the love and attention they could get :)”

About: I have two cats and two dogs. I take care of them daily and provide the correct and loving care I would with all of your pets. I work as a Vet assistant at an animal clinic and I love taking care of animals of all sizes, ages, and needs. I am experienced in medication administration, feeding schedules, cleaning and safety. I am also in a pre-vet club at my school so I often learn lots of animal anatomy and safety procedures. I love volunteering at any local clinic and animal sanctuary when I have free time. I am very passionate about my work and animals and would love the opportunity to provide care for your fur babies. I am a student at UCF, my schedule in the fall is a bit busier however I am able to set aside any time that you would need for your pets needs. As of right now I am on summer break and am available all day everyday. Pet care comes first and I am willing to work with any schedule you would need. I am very clean and love organization. If I were to stay at your home not only would I care for your pets but also your home and make sure to keep a clean and safe environment. I also love sending photos of your fur babies to make you smile during your work day or vacation. If I am pet sitting for the day or taking the animals for a walk I will make sure the proper steps are taken such as securing leashes, properly stocking what I need for the day, washing paws if dirty and checking pavement for paw safety. I am very easy to work with and love instructions and constructive criticism. No matter the instructions or the task, each pet will be safe and loved in my care.
“Our love for Emma knows NO BOUNDS! 1. She takes care of our baby like she is her own and appreciates all the fun quirks of her personality. 2. She goes above and beyond — often comes early and stays late, gives medication, and helped care for our girl after she had surgery. She is by far our favorite Rover sitter and we will always request her first! She is the best!”

“Amanda was great!! My animals were all taken care of while i was on vacation and she even sent me updates with pictures and videos to let me know how they were doing. In the future i will 100% be using her again!”
About: I am currently a vet technician and have been in this field for about 7 years. I have worked with hospitalized patients so I am proficient in giving medication. I currently work full time at an animal clinic. I am able to check in on my lunch break so that the fur babies can have some time out at least 3 times a day. I am able to crate your baby if needed and able to feed breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I am able to take dogs out to potty at least 3 times a day and give them time to play. For cats, I will clean the litter box nightly.

“I will definitely re-book with Shay! She was great with my pets and took lots of cute pictures. She even brought in some chewy boxes that were delivered. I highly recommend!”

“I'm so happy my fur babies and I got to meet Stephanie. She was so kind and made me feel at ease knowing my girls were in good hands. We will definitely be working together in the future.”
“First time using Rover and Jennifer did a great job taking care of my boys. I enjoyed all the picture updates of them playing and it seemed like they liked her presence as well. Will probably use her services again in the future.”

“I would like to take a moment to thank my sister Ana for taking such great care of my cats while I was away on vacation. She went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable and happy while I was gone. Ana is an incredibly kind and loving person who took the time to send me pictures of my cats every day, which made me feel so much better knowing that they were in good hands. She even bought them some gifts and played with them to make them feel more at ease. Ana was always easy to communicate with and took great care of my cats. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful sitter who is not only reliable, but also loves and cares for my pets like they're her own. Thank you so much, Ana!”

“I had an awesome experience with Sam. She did a fantastic job watching my dog, Mia. It was such a relief to know she could come to my home, take Mia for a walk, and get her food ready while I was away. This was my first time using a service like this, and everything went really smoothly. I definitely plan to continue working with her for any future pet-sitting needs. Highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Whites Landing
Madison took excellent care of Minifeli. He is very shy and hides when someone arrives, but he came out every time Madison visited him. When we returned from our trip, Minifeli was calm and happy. She took great care of him. She also sent us photos of him every day. I will call her again next time.

The peace of mind Nina gives us when we’re away is everything, I love that she not only just feeds them but she also plays with them, gives them affection and was even kind enough to clean up after their messes/accidents. We’re thankful to have found a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whites Landing. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
