About: I’ve always loved animals! I have two cats and two dogs of my own some younger and some seniors. I want to make people feel as secure as I would want to feel having someone looking out for my fur babies! I do work full time and attend school part time. However, both tend to be in the afternoon leaving me more than enough time to cater to and entertain you’re family pets in the morning before work or my full day availability when I am off! I start my day letting my fur babies out.I do have a fenced yard so I tend to allow my younger dog to roam freely however my senior dog does have trouble seeing so I tend to keep her on a leash as I let her out. I keep my eyes on both and once they let me know they’re done I prep both of their bowls of food. One with dry and one with both dry and wet portions. I continuously let them out throughout the day and finish my night with the same dinner routine as their breakfast!
“Kathleen and her husband are the kindest people I’ve ever met. She has been a blessing for our pup woody and I’m so thankful we’ve met. Everyday she sent updates of how our boy is doing and made us enjoy our time away worry-free. I’m glad to know we have Kathleen if we ever have to leave him he will be in good hands. THANK YOU!!!”

“Joy is amazing. She’s very communicative, responsible, and the kitties took to her very well. She even cleaned up after the youngest decided to unlearn the litter box while we were away, which we appreciate very much. 10/10 sitter ❤️”

About: Loving mother and cat lover. I'll love your cat as if it's my own! Doesn't matter their personality; all cats are different, but they all get equal care. I'm currently working part-time, so I am very flexible in making time to spend with your pet. Love animals and am looking forward to meeting your furry pal. I give my cat plenty of love, love playing with my pets, and give them quality time. Would always treat your home as if it were mine. Always keep it clean and safe for my pets.
“Caitlin is wonderful. We were stranded out of town for 48 extra hours on our trip and she stepped right up, taking great care of our dog on those unexpected days. We always have a little anxiety leaving our elder dog and then to have extra days on top - but Caitlin communicates with each visit and provides photos so we can see our old girl is doing just fine. Thank you!!”

“Becca was on time and incredibly helpful during the stay! I know Ranger loved the visit and walk! I would definitely recommend Becca to all of my friends/family in the future and will be rescheduling visits with her!”

Joy is an absolute JOY to work with. Her attention to detail is fantastic and you can tell she truly cares about animals. She took amazing care of my 2 kitty girls while my family was on vacation 🩷 I’m so grateful for her and the care she gave my babies while I was away. I look forward to working with Joy again in the near future!!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Catherine is - my cat Max loves her, and she is simply amazing with him. She always gives him so much attention and affection when she is caring for him. I love getting the pictures, notes and updates each time she drops in to care for him. He was comfortable around her from day one ; I have had her look after my fur baby several times already and I will be rebooking with her again. Thank you, Catherine.

Allison took excellent care of my pets - dropping in multiple times a day and even going above and beyond picking up after there mini house renovations and bathroom stops outside! She managed multiple feeding scheudles and meds. Our pets were stress free during our trip because of Allison's care. We will be continuing to book with Allison for our pet care.

Ilene is the best! She meet with us ahead of time to introduce herself and meet our 4 babies before our vacation. She was so kind and communicated every step of the way. We felt so at ease while we were away! She took pictures and gave updates. Ilene is a true animal lover and we will definitely be rebooking with her! Thank you so much for Ilene for your care for our babies while we were away!

Summer is our go-to sitter for our cats. We know they are being loved and cared for while we are away. She spends time playing with our high energy kitten and is patient with our older shy cat. Thanks again Summer for a great job looking after our two…it’s great to be able to get away and not worry about them. We most definitely will be calling on you again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sanford. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
