“Matt and Jamie were amazing. They were on time and gave alot of love to both our girls, one of our dogs is very skiddish and she even went to the both of them. Will definitely be booking them again next time we need too.”

“Brittany took great care of our two cats and we felt so reassured that both warmed up to her so quickly. Her communication was fantastic and we look forward to using her next time we travel!”

“Maricel is great! From the initial communication to the intro visit to the actual booking, Maricel was pleasant, timely and very mindful of what our dogs need and what we asked. Our dogs were so well cared for during this multi-day, multi-visit, booking. Thank you Maricel!”

“Christy was great! She had no problem meeting up for a meet and greet so my boy could meet her. She was so good with him and did everything I asked! If 10 stars was an option I’d give them all to her!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs , (many) cats , even several hamsters since I was a child . I’ve always had a deep love for all animals for as long as I can remember . I’m also a mom and I feel like my maternal instincts also extend to animals as if they’re my little fur babies . I currently live with 4 cats and I babysit my sisters puppy regularly . I’ve raised kittens and puppies as well as taken care of senior pets as well! I currently work from home and homeschool my daughter a few days a week which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care as a seamless part of my day. Whether it’s walks and check ins or making sure your pet is safe and cared for while you’re away , I have the time and flexibility to provide that . When it comes to watching your fur baby in your home , I will follow your lead and whatever instructions you leave for me on how to best care for your pet , I will adhere to! As always, I will treat your pet and your home with the upmost love and respect .
“I’m incredibly grateful that I found Joy to take care of my two 17-year-old dogs. She was proactive from the very beginning and went out of her way to adjust her schedule to accommodate what worked best for us. The way she interacted with Lola and Lilu was so sweet and genuinely special. I was naturally anxious about leaving them because senior dogs require extra attention and care, but Joy made me feel completely at ease by keeping in touch and sending updates throughout my trip. She truly went above and beyond in every way, and I’m so thankful for her kindness, professionalism, and dedication. I trusted her, and she exceeded every expectation. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”

“Morgan did a great job taking care of our outdoor neighborhood cats. She even managed to get pictures of them nearly every day. I can tell Morgan loves animals and genuinely cared about taking care of Vader and our sometimes porch cat Alexander.”

“Sabrina did such an amazing job with my 2 cats! I will definitely be using her again in the future!! It was my first experience with rover, I was very nervous at first but I’m so glad I chose this service and Sabrina.”

“Stephanie has done an amazing and wonderful job sitting for our cat. She is an excellent communicator and so very helpful in every way. We will continue to hire her for all our cat sitting so long as she will have us! A great experience overall!”

“Andrew was a great fit right from the beginning. He has a great nature with animals and and our (not friendly at first) dog warmed right up to him. He was diligent about making sure our baby was taken care of and went above and beyond what we asked of him. We could not have been more at ease leaving for the weekend knowing our family member was taken care of and loved on. Andrew is exceptional and I will definitely use his services above anyone else.”

“Megan is amazing! She went above and beyond for Remi and I. I appreciate her so much. Remi got super comfortable with her immediately and is happy to see her when he does. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hi! My name is Brandy! I have a certificate for zoo and domestic animal care from yavapai college in Arizona. I am also a dog owner of 11 years. I have certified both my dogs through the petsmart training courses. I have learned a lot through school and owning dogs of my own and have always had a passion for animals. Thanks so much for considering me for your furry babies! I am a server working part time and am looking for a way to make a little extra money on the side doing something I love! I am available for dog walking Monday-Sunday anytime before 2:30 and available Monday-Wednesday for overnights or whatever you may need as those are my days off. I will not be able to board any animals as I have a bit of a reactive border collie at my house but am available to come to your house for your needs

“Laurie stepped in for us last minute and was both prompt and efficient. She kept us updated throughout and sent plenty of photos of our pups while we were out of town, which we really appreciated.”

“Since this was my first time using Rover, I was a little bit nervous, but Kacie was very responsive and professional and helpful! She did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs, and I could tell from the pictures that she sent at each of the drop in visits that our dogs loved her, too! It made it so easy to not have to worry that they were being well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Courtney took the absolute best care of our American Bully named Pig! I knew she was going to be the perfect fit just from our meet & greet, she put all my worries at ease and I knew he would be in good hands! She was so great with communication and was always on time to make sure Piggy was feed and had plenty of potty breaks along with lots of loving attention! She took the BEST photos and videos of him and made sure we knew he was happy the whole time he was in her care! I CANNOT recommend her enough!! We will absolutely be using her for all our future needs, along with referring her to all our friends and family for their furry family members also!! This was our first time using rover, and we are so grateful to have found Courtney!!”

About: I’ve had different kinds of animals growing up and volunteered as an animal enrichment coordinator for two years where I handled the training, nourishment, and cleanliness of several animals. Currently I have a hybrid job and wfh Tuesday, Thursday, Friday allowing pets 3-5 walks a day depending on their schedule. On weekends I am free all day! I have a comfy suv for transportation as needed and am very respectful of clients rules and regulations of how they choose to care for and love their fur babies
About: I have taken care of my parents dogs since I was 8, I have been asked to dog sit my aunts dogs multiple times, and have taken care of friends dogs (they had three) during days they were at work for a month. I also have a pet tortoise that I have been taking care of for 6.5 years. I work full time so I would have the availability to do pet care before and after work. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in DeBary. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
