“Maricel was excellent with assisting my family and I on short notice with our two dogs. She showed great care with walking them and made great notes. Thank you again Maricel!”

About: Hi there, I have worked in a doggy daycare for 2years, volunteered for a pet clinic for 1year, dog training on my own for going on 2years now. I have 2 big dogs, and 2cats! I have experience with shy dogs, anxiety dogs, leash reactive dogs too. Hi there! I am currently a stay at home mom with a one year old. If you need walks in the morning of early afternoon he will have to come with me but will stay in a stroller at all times! Otherwise I am able to be childfree for walks and any visits after 5:30pm, or after 12pm on Fridays, all day Saturdays and Sundays! I follow your instructions on how you want you fur baby to be treated. I send lots of pictures on walks and drops if I can. I love dog cuddles and playtime!
“First time using a walker from here. Avery was incredibly communicative and answered all my initial questions with patience. On the second day, my little guy has a sensitive stomach and must have gotten into something because he made a mess on the floor after I left and before she got here. She told me about it and happily offered to clean it up. I'm super grateful for her and her patience. Will 100% ask her for help again in the future. Thank you Avery!”

“Morgan has been absolutely incredible with my two dogs. One of my babies has been sick and she has been so compassionate and patient with him during drop ins. She definitely eased my anxiety being away for the first time since he was hospitalized. I’d recommend Morgan to anyone looking for care for their dogs. Thank you for everything!”

“Stephanie was great! We met her for a meet and greet before our scheduled walks and I could immediately tell she was caring, warm, and an animal lover. She gave me informative and thoughtful updates after the walks and took super cute photos of our dog. Stephanie will definitely be our go to dog walker from here on out!”

About: I am well versed on various training, dog sitting, boarding and walking methods for our canine family members. Gained hands on experience of training and handling with my 11 year old GSD. I personally researched for years and only then successfully trained my current 10 month old GSD, using my other 11 year old GSD as a control. I will offer free consults to clients in need of repeat services in order to determine the tailored needs for your dog. Always willing to go above and beyond for my love of dogs. Excel with all dogs and utilize communication with the client in order to fully understand the specific qualities, needs and wants of the dog in order to organize and manage effective walks/boarding/training. I have been living in the area for over 20 years and know all of the dog-friendly parks or areas that provide a clean and safe environment offering an array of enrichment. Knowledgeable in training and recognizing animal body language used to establish positive communication with the dogs. I can not only improve the lives of the dog, but also clearly communicate and empower the owner with training tips to continue effective conditioning for a well-trained dog. My remote position of over 5 years as a Sr Mortgage Underwriter was recently moved into the office (Tampa) and decided to take time off. Therefore, I am available 24/7 and mainly focusing on the transition into the Dog Walking/Boarding/Training business. *HOUSE SITTING SERVICE: Active as a less expensive alternative to booking numerous Drop-In visits with multiple dogs. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - DeBary
This was our first time having Maricel walk our pups and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She was so kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with right from the start, which made us feel really comfortable trusting someone new with our dogs. She’s also super responsive and understanding, which we really appreciated. Anytime we had a question or needed to coordinate something, she was quick to reply and very accommodating. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. Our pups were happy and well taken care of, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. It can be a little nerve-wracking having someone new walk your dogs for the first time, but Maricel made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. We’re so grateful to have found her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog walker. We’re definitely looking forward to having her walk our pups again!

Marie has been absolutely amazing! She’s super reliable, communicates clearly, and pays great attention to detail. She was very attentive with my dog and kept me updated, which gave me total peace of mind. It’s clear she really cares. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
