“Cydney is the best. My Georgie girl loves her. By the time my two-year-old Lab gets back from her walk with Cydney, she is pretty tired. this is such great exercise that I’m not able to get out and do myself (bad knees). I will be continuing to use Cydney for weekly walks and overnight sitter when needed. I trust her completely Thank you, Cydney !”

“First time using a walker from here. Avery was incredibly communicative and answered all my initial questions with patience. On the second day, my little guy has a sensitive stomach and must have gotten into something because he made a mess on the floor after I left and before she got here. She told me about it and happily offered to clean it up. I'm super grateful for her and her patience. Will 100% ask her for help again in the future. Thank you Avery!”

“Caleb is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend him to everyone! He took care of our babies on a very last minute basis and was very understanding of our situation. We will definitely be booking him again!”

About: We are a pet-loving household with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and companionship throughout the day—something I currently do with my disabled dachshund, who is a big part of my daily routine. I was raised around dogs, and over time, I’ve grown to truly love and appreciate cats as well. My fiancé shares that same passion for animals—she can’t pass a dog without asking to say hello! She previously worked at a humane society, where she trained volunteers on how to safely and positively interact with animals, ensuring a rewarding experience for both pets and people. Between the two of us, we bring a balance of professional experience and genuine love for animals. We’re happy to care for your pets together or individually, depending on scheduling needs, and will always treat them like part of our family. We work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. We are happy to work with your schedule to make sure that your pet receives the care they need throughout the day. We are happy to work with you to develop a plan to care for your pet to minimize the stress for both them and you. We will also be very diligent in providing you communication and updates as you request.
About: I always loved animals. I have owned cats and dogs in the past. Right now we have a labrador retriever and a cat, they are very adaptable. I am just starting on pet caring as a business, I truly believe your pet will be happy spending sometime at our place or going for a walk. We recently installed a fence for our dog to run free in our almost half an acre backyard, he loves it... I think other dogs would enjoy that too. We stay at home and homeschool our children. Usually we are at home except for fun outings or emergencies. We do go to church on Sundays. Sunday morning we will be leaving your pet at home alone for about 1 hour and a half. I don't accept pets for Sunday afternoon. I have a fenced backyard, but I never leave your pet in the backyard alone. Your pet will be happy with us when you can't be there.
About: I love helping friends and families with all of their animal-care needs. I have experience with livestock, dogs, cats, and more. I'm happy to board at our house. We live on 3 acres and we are totally fenced in. I am a mother to two kids and we homeschool, so we are home and available as often as needed to help. No pet will be left bored or lonely! I'm happy to drop by and walk your pet from your home. Even better, we can board here at our home where your pet can be one of the family! We have 3 acres fenced in and plenty of room to play.
About: I am well versed on various training, dog sitting, boarding and walking methods for our canine family members. Gained hands on experience of training and handling with my 11 year old GSD. I personally researched for years and only then successfully trained my current 10 month old GSD, using my other 11 year old GSD as a control. I will offer free consults to clients in need of repeat services in order to determine the tailored needs for your dog. Always willing to go above and beyond for my love of dogs. Excel with all dogs and utilize communication with the client in order to fully understand the specific qualities, needs and wants of the dog in order to organize and manage effective walks/boarding/training. I have been living in the area for over 20 years and know all of the dog-friendly parks or areas that provide a clean and safe environment offering an array of enrichment. Knowledgeable in training and recognizing animal body language used to establish positive communication with the dogs. I can not only improve the lives of the dog, but also clearly communicate and empower the owner with training tips to continue effective conditioning for a well-trained dog. My remote position of over 5 years as a Sr Mortgage Underwriter was recently moved into the office (Tampa) and decided to take time off. Therefore, I am available 24/7 and mainly focusing on the transition into the Dog Walking/Boarding/Training business. *HOUSE SITTING SERVICE: Active as a less expensive alternative to booking numerous Drop-In visits with multiple dogs. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orange City
Taylor was super! She met with Ellie and I prior to the dog walking day so we could get to know her. Ellie took to her right away. You can always tell a great dog person. She spent the necessary time on the walk and the picture of Ellie after showed me that Ellie was happy with Taylor. Please don't hesitate to reach out to her if you need a dog walker. I will be trying her other options in the future but I have no concerns that it won't be as good an experience. Thank you Taylor!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
