About: We are a pet-loving household with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and companionship throughout the day—something I currently do with my disabled dachshund, who is a big part of my daily routine. I was raised around dogs, and over time, I’ve grown to truly love and appreciate cats as well. My fiancé shares that same passion for animals—she can’t pass a dog without asking to say hello! She previously worked at a humane society, where she trained volunteers on how to safely and positively interact with animals, ensuring a rewarding experience for both pets and people. Between the two of us, we bring a balance of professional experience and genuine love for animals. We’re happy to care for your pets together or individually, depending on scheduling needs, and will always treat them like part of our family. We work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. We are happy to work with your schedule to make sure that your pet receives the care they need throughout the day. We are happy to work with you to develop a plan to care for your pet to minimize the stress for both them and you. We will also be very diligent in providing you communication and updates as you request.
“Stephanie was great! We met her for a meet and greet before our scheduled walks and I could immediately tell she was caring, warm, and an animal lover. She gave me informative and thoughtful updates after the walks and took super cute photos of our dog. Stephanie will definitely be our go to dog walker from here on out!”

About: I am well versed on various training, dog sitting, boarding and walking methods for our canine family members. Gained hands on experience of training and handling with my 11 year old GSD. I personally researched for years and only then successfully trained my current 10 month old GSD, using my other 11 year old GSD as a control. I will offer free consults to clients in need of repeat services in order to determine the tailored needs for your dog. Always willing to go above and beyond for my love of dogs. Excel with all dogs and utilize communication with the client in order to fully understand the specific qualities, needs and wants of the dog in order to organize and manage effective walks/boarding/training. I have been living in the area for over 20 years and know all of the dog-friendly parks or areas that provide a clean and safe environment offering an array of enrichment. Knowledgeable in training and recognizing animal body language used to establish positive communication with the dogs. I can not only improve the lives of the dog, but also clearly communicate and empower the owner with training tips to continue effective conditioning for a well-trained dog. My remote position of over 5 years as a Sr Mortgage Underwriter was recently moved into the office (Tampa) and decided to take time off. Therefore, I am available 24/7 and mainly focusing on the transition into the Dog Walking/Boarding/Training business. *HOUSE SITTING SERVICE: Active as a less expensive alternative to booking numerous Drop-In visits with multiple dogs. “Amber is so lovely! We’ve utilized her services this week while my husband is out of town and I’m busy working/coaching full time. She is so sweet with our babies and I have no doubt they’re in great hands with her! We highly recommend and will be using her again!”

“Cydney is the best. My Georgie girl loves her. By the time my two-year-old Lab gets back from her walk with Cydney, she is pretty tired. this is such great exercise that I’m not able to get out and do myself (bad knees). I will be continuing to use Cydney for weekly walks and overnight sitter when needed. I trust her completely Thank you, Cydney !”

About: I grew up fostering animals of all kinds, which taught me patience, adaptability, and how to read animal body language early on. I’ve helped train service dogs and have hands-on experience caring for exotic animals through the 501(c) organization 101 Paws and Claws. From high-energy pups to animals that require extra care and attention, I’m comfortable handling unique needs with calm confidence. If I can take care of wolves, I can take care of your pup, cat, or other furry or feathered friend! Pet care is my full-time focus, allowing me to provide reliable and consistent availability throughout the week. I’m available any day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for evening care up to 10:00 PM when needed. Because this is my primary work, your pet’s routine, comfort, and safety always come first. I understand that having a stranger in your home can be nerve-wracking for pets, especially those who are shy, cautious, or set in their routines. I approach in-home care by matching each pet’s energy and respecting their individual needs, allowing them to feel how they feel without pressure. Through patience, gentleness, and consistency, I focus on building trust at their pace—and I have a knack for becoming a fast favorite (only second to their owner, of course).
About: I adopted my first dog Trixie when she was about 4 and I had her for over 10 years. She was the sweetest little Beagle. I rescued my second dog Dundee, a beautiful Australian Shepard. He was elderly when I rescued him but got to spend 3 1/2 years with him. I truly with all my heart loved those dogs and miss them so much. At times I foster a dog but would also love to hang out with your pets. I am a Nurse so I am able to give different types of medications if needed. My Dundee was on 2 different medications as well as preventative heart worm and flea/tick medications. I work three 12 hour shifts per week so I am available several days a week but my days do vary. I will provide my availability each month. I have my own 3 bedroom house with a large double lot fenced in back yard. I have plenty of room for your pets to run and play.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Deltona
This was our first time having Maricel walk our pups and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She was so kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with right from the start, which made us feel really comfortable trusting someone new with our dogs. She’s also super responsive and understanding, which we really appreciated. Anytime we had a question or needed to coordinate something, she was quick to reply and very accommodating. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. Our pups were happy and well taken care of, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. It can be a little nerve-wracking having someone new walk your dogs for the first time, but Maricel made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. We’re so grateful to have found her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog walker. We’re definitely looking forward to having her walk our pups again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
